I just got the shipping notice for my S6 pre-order I did from Samsung.com. Expected delivery Friday the 6th. I also ordered the keyboard cover, but that is still pending.
Kine says expected delivery by the 23rd. Im thinking of cancelling the order and getting the rose instead just to have it early LOL!
I had to wait for my $200 credit for preordering the Note 10+. Just got my credit today, and applied it toward my 256GB Mountain Grey Tab S6 order today. Which means mine won't ship until October 4th, but it was worth waiting for the $200 credit.
I just feel like samsung can NOT be this far behind on orders. I mean...they could be but i dont get it honestly. Hopefully the offer the ppl who preordered and were forced to wait something in return. The ONLY reason inordered from samsung.com was to use my credit for preordering the note 10 plus

What do you mean offer you something in return? They've already given us a credit from our Note 10 preorders (in my case it was $200), and they're giving us $90 off the keyboard case. As far as having to wait, we understood that risk when we decided to wait so long to preorder.
I'm as excited as anyone else to receive my Tab S6 and I certainly hope it ships early than expected, but I don't think I'm entitled to any compensation for having to wait a little longer. I believe the nearly $300 in savings I've already received was compensation enough.
You dont have to preorder to get 50% off the keyboard case. And im saying had i not preordered i could have literall walked into best buy and walked out with it on the very same day. Id also have it sooner had i preordered theough best buy or amazon or mostly anywhere else. Im not sure why the manufacturer is the one that the farthest behind on preorders. That makes 0 sense

Man, I feel for yah. Had a similar deal with Office Depot shipping out units to people that odered well after me while I was on backorder. If I cancel my order, someone else will just grab it up though.

You all realize you just ordered from the company that has about 100 pages talking about how stated delivery dates are pretty much meaningless. I wouldn't cancel other pre-orders until you have a tracking number. It's hard to believe BB cleaned up their act in 72 hours.

Right now, GameStop is accepting pre-orders of the Prime bundle (comes with gaming controller).
It has a listing of "Pre-orders ship 1/6/2012"
I'm not sure how recent of a change this is, but I thought I had checked it earlier and orders weren't accepted.
I didn't really WANT the controller but this is the most reliable/earliest shipping I have seen so I jumped on it. Thanks! Hopefully this preorder is easy to cancel if something better comes up this week though.

Cheapest shipping vs Most expensive was like $7 so I just went with the most expensive, my roommate was actually looking for a Bluetooth game pad for his computer so this works out in the end for both of us. Only bad thing is I didn't have a color option....hopefully it comes in the gray.

I also got this I wonder will there be an problem like with the first batch where they have waves and some people dont get theirs till later in the month or next month.. I dont see why the company has release the prime like this creating a very large supplie to need ratio.. which in turn creates dissatisfied customer on both ends where (1.) people that got it are disappoint because they waited so long for "This" and its not blowing them away (2.) people waiting and waiting to get it then get it and become 1's.. i dont feel like this is going to work against them in the end or when something similar comes out and it mush easy to get out the gate

I know. I had a VZ pre-order done within minutes when it went live. I cancelled yesterday to get the 150 off and still get the 480 for my S7 Edge. Oh well, in the long run we'll be glad we saved the 150.
150 buys the vr goggles.
So from reading the other chats, looks like Samsung is holding the deliveries for everyone. Maybe we'll get them the same time as everyone

Check out the VZW waiting room thread. I spoke to VZW and Best Buy at length about this. VZW told me if you buy from Best Buy I don't get the 480 for my S7 Edge. Best Buy says I do and that they made that deal with Verizon months ago. The idiot from VZ said he saw the promo for buying it from VZW and one for when you walk into Best Buy and preorder it but nothing about buying on line. I did screen shots from the Best Buy site showing that the 480 deal with the fine print that the deal is directly with VZ. Best buy says once I activate my Note 8 I have to take my S7 Edge into a Verizon corporate store and they will take the phone and apply the discount to my monthly payments. They also told me that it takes 3 months before the credit will come through but it's pro rated from the day you buy the phone.
We will see. To save 150 I'm willing to beat up VZW.

My Best Buy order status has changed from "Processing" to "Preparing". I logged onto my Verizon wireless account and attempted to trade in my Pixel XL. It shows a promotional $480 trade in value! I also noticed my line is no longer eligable for trade in and I owe $786/24 payments! I hope it ships soon!

The question being is it cheaper to buy at launch or on BF? No doubt on BF and with carrier deals you might get it half price or buy one get one free. But, as noted above, you will wait. Last year the P5 was half price with any qualified trade-in at Verizon on BF. We got one for $400 with the P4 trade.

I have a feeling that in fall/winter 2021 all sorts of things are going to be in short supply. Pictures are all over the news about container ships stuck in LA harbor waiting for a chance to unload. Some are advising to buy Xmas stuff early rather than wait for Black Friday to ensure there's stock in what you want. So I oredered my P6 as soon as I know this is what I wanted.
If Google sells out its first run quickly, will it be able to get the components needed to do future batches easily? Even new car sales are being impacted by availability of components. I just didn't want to risk waiting till Black Friday to go phone shopping, only to find out that the only things left in stock are TCLs.

That's not bad for a near 4 year old phone. Have a N10+ and Telus would only quote about $200 for mint condition, when even the s22U was first released.
Freedom "saves" around $647 on "trade up" and it looks like pretty much every mobile shop here rips people off for trade in value, even if you keep a 2 year upgrade cycle (Samsung appears to be much better in this regard, even for older devices).

I also ordered the 512G version in Blue. They gave me $800 for my old Note S20 Ultra 5G.
I just cancelled my order. The $859 CDN trade-in for my S22 Ultra 1TB is way too low.

Same. I was actually pretty impress with the trade in offer for a 2 plus year old phone. By the way did you try looking up your expected delivery date? Weirdly says starts shipping on 17th March. Do you reckon that's a glitch? I did order bunch of accessories for the phone. Does that have anything to do with that?

Mine still says shipping from Feb 8 but if you selected one of the online exclusive colors I had noticed some shipping dates were later. And I remember when I preordered my s21 ultra it shipped a few days later because they were waiting on one of the accessories.
Do a live chat with them they should be able to tell you which item is causing the delay and if it's an accessory you can most likely ask them to remove it from the order.
I saw if you ordered one of the specialty colors it said it would ship in 5-6 weeks. I didn't notice it when I ordered and I did order a specialty color.

Yeah turns out it was the exclusive color as well some accessories. I am trying to reconnect to live chat but the waiting times are hella long. Hopefully i can cancel the order and go for the cream color instead.

The shipping dates are just approximate. Most just say February 17th because that's when you officially can buy one from a retail store. From my experience with the S20U and S22U the Unlocked models usually come 2-3 days earlier than when stores get them. Carrier Phones arrive even sooner as they get priority over Unlocked models. So take those delivery dates with a grain of salt as they are just estimates which are always later than when you actually will get them.
Here is something even weirder for this year. On the past two phones I ordered from Samsung they would bill me when I placed the order to make sure the funds were available. It would say pending and then after 2 to 3 days it would drop off my credit card and I would get the funds back and Samsung wouldn't bill me again till it shipped. Well that happened again this year and I got the funds back. But today it actually cleared pending and dates yesterday as a past and cleared purchase which I even got the 1.5% cashback on. They never give me the Cashback until the sale is actually completed So that most likely means I'll be getting a notification soon that it shipped. Could Sammy be shipping earlier this year?

Okay so i am talking to an agent right now and he recommended the same thing to not cancel the order. It might just arrive earlier than anticipated. What i am worried about is the two accessories that i ordered (screen guard and a silicon case), those two clearly has pre-order emblem on them and the agent did confirm i would get everything in a single package so little bit skeptical but lets hope for the best.

Just have patience you will get it eventually. If you cancel your just going to have to wait even longer especially if they ran out of the first batch of stock which would push new order dates back to late March. Seen that happen before and peeps always regret their impatience.
