My tablet has been blocked by the my xperia service which does not accept data for my gmail account. Before restoring the tablet to factory settings, I would like to fix one issue because nowhere in Google I could not find the answer.
Namely, before performing this operation is it possible to back up data to the tablet when it is locked? I mainly ask in the context of games saves, documents I have, applications for which I have saved account data (created in these applications), as well as in the context of saved Wi-Fi networks

What lock is it?
Generic Google FRP or the one from Sony with "Protected" on the screen, which would be by Sony's MXTP?

I found a way to improve the performance of our rom, at least I noticed more quickly and smoothly and browsers do not fail me so much with flash player on Youtube or other sites. First install "Lite Panel System" to check at any time and memory performance, then "Root Uninstaller Pro" and remove all standard applications that come installed on the rom and that you require, we can also freeze them and then uninstall them.
And here comes the most important, to improve performance (at least I have noticed, you will have to try if you want), is called "Autostarts" the instaláis and when you open your show all the processes that are spending some unnecessary memory and battery feed: mad:, give to the three dots at the top right and Group by application, then you will see Expand all processes and applications, android system I least, I have them all canceled, to cancel the process on the dais and disable, accept, is a somewhat laborious work because you have to do it all but I have told you but I have not checked if annulling gmail, come new message alerts, but if you will not anuleis.
Well it's a rather long explanation, but hey try it and you will go if there are improvements commenting

install "Autostarts" and open, em options open for application groups and then expand all go one by one all desamblando. but not disassemble android system. exit and restart. Install "advanced task killer free." open and click on "kill selected apps" close and run the game. I've tried it and all games working 100%. also tested in alpha 4
apparently the problem is memory management. can not run a game without freeing memory before.with "Autostarts" prevents applications launch at startup. and "" Advanced Task Killer Free "close open applications.
if the problem persists disconnect wifi
hi my specs are in my sig and my phone is stock and non rooted.
recently ive been getting this notification pop-up usually when i reset the phone. ive also noticed that when im on wifi the orange download arrow intermittently shows every 5-10 secs, even when i am not doing anything. the orange download arrow is however inactive (when idle) if i switch to data. i did not have these 'symptoms' a week ago.
since i believe this to be a failed download, the first thing i did was erase all downloads in the downloads app, which did not solve the problem. i then tried to clean the caches of apps that i know download stuff- downloads, download manager, google play, gmail, chrome, internet, pulse- however this did not solve the problem either. although they were there even before this started happening, i disabled my weather, calendar and task widgets just to be sure - but the problem still persists. finally, i tried using avast, then dr webb, just to be sure there were no viruses etc on my phone- and results were negative?
so what else can i try to figure this out? i would rather have my phone unrooted and stock as i had good battery life before this and sq with stock browser custom eq is perfect for my iem.
any help would be appreciated.
Get All in One toolbox from Playstore.
Go to the Fast Book (third tab).
There you can see what all apps are starting in boot.
That way you can figure out the culprit.
Is that your lockscreen or your desktop?
Either way, how did you configured it? Me likes it a lot...

i removed all user apps and many system apps including download manager, all samsung apps, exchange, email, com.sec.android.providers.download, contacts sync, fw upgrade and some more- but still doesnt solve the problem
Hi guys I wanna share with you this awesome app developed by wangqi060934 that you can find for free on the play store.
LINK: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.wq.myandroidtools&hl=it
With this app you can enable or disable any app services, receivers, activities or providers and so having full control on your personal or system apps.
I have been using AOSPA since Chirag built it, but I have never reached the 4.26 hours with my normal daily usage till I disabled those fu***** play service processes and then Android OS percentage has fallen down and no more wakelocks.:highfive: (See the attachments)
I found this app interesting because now I found a way to disable some Google Play Services processes which drain a lot of battery and use a lot of ram. I'll show you how to do this right now.
SERVICE
This is divided between third party & system and contains all services. Near every app name there is a white, blue or red number.
The white shows the total number of services, the blue shows the number of active services and the red shows the number of disabled services.
RECEIVER
This section is divided among Actions, Third Party & System. Also here, near every app name there is a white number that shows the total number of receivers and a red one that shows the number of disabled receivers.
GUIDE TO DISABLE SOME GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES PROCESSES WITHOUT LOOSING ANY FEATURES AND GAINING RAM & PRECIOUS BATTERY GUICE
Open SERVICE section and tap on System;
Find Google Play Services and tap on it;
Disable those services
Code:
AdRequestBrokerService
AnalyticsIntentService
AnalyticsService
FusedLocationService
FusedProviderService
GeocoreService
GeofenceProviderService
GoogleLocationManagerService
NlpLocationReceiverService
SystemUpdateService
WatchdogService
WearableControlService
WearableService
Open RECEIVER section and tap on System;
Find Google Play Services and tap on it;
Disable those receivers:
Code:
AccountChangedReceiver
GServicesChangedReceiver
SystemUpdateService$ActiveReceiver
SystemUpdateService$Receiver
As you can see I have disabled the google analytics, that pratically is useless (but it takes 26 mb of ram) and most localization processes but If you do these steps in the right way, your localization service, gps, will continue to work properly. (see the gps status screenshot attached below)
I hope that this has been useful for all of you , and guys be careful when you disable things!
Great @hastalafiesta. If you find some more stuff that can be disabled without loosing normal functionality post it. :good::good::good:

No, all will work as usual
In Google Play Services - RECEIVER section I have ConnectivityReceiver and PowerConnectedReceiver already disabled, not sure why because it is the first time I tweak Google Play Services.
I think you can verify these entries and eventually add them.
Excellent tool!
Does it activate after boot?
I can see receivers from frozen apps, does this mean they also bloat the system, even frozen?

Yes, all your changes will be applied after reboot.
Deleting an app is better than frozing, the frozen app itself remains on the device, is just "blocked" but the junk is always on your phone
Works fine on s3
I have noticed that some applications such as Prezzi Benzina require that GoogleLocationManagerService is active so that the geolocation functions properly. Who uses this function should not disable it.
Free other 75 MB of RAM on NeatROM 7.9
To disable the automatic startup of the app: Reciver-> Third Party -> "App Name" -> remove tick from BootUpReceiver / BootReceiver

InAppBillingService ( it cause lot of wake locks .. you can disable it with out any problem ...and if u want to buy any inapp purchase just enable this for that time only and after purchase over u can disable it )
LicensingSevice ( u can disable this IF you didn't buy anything OFFICIALLY from play store)
these 2 are enough and after that greenify playstore.. it won't cause wakelocks ..enjoy
Great @hasta!
I've installed this app and applied your tricks....
Soon my feedback![emoji1] [emoji1]
Edit: geolocation by net (3g+wifi) doesn't work!!

I disabled theese services too (without problems for now):
SERVICE section, System; Google Play Services:
BrokeredFitnessService
FitnessSyncAdapterService
ConfigFetchService
SyncService
and Reciver -> System -> Google play services:
FitnessInitReceiver
WaerableSyncServiceReceiver
I've got a problem with my wifes rooted galaxy s4 on Stock...
I installed this app at my own s3mini, disabled the recommended services and made a backup.
Then I brought this backup to my wifes s4, installed MyAndroidTools and restored the settings.
After that I've got security warnings want me to update security policies - I guess it's Knox. I tried to enable the services again, but some wont. Every now and then this security warning is coming up now... I've uninstalled MAT but the warning remains...
Furthermore her WhatsApp shortcut was gone while Whatsapp was still working... I needed to unistall and reinstall WhatsApp to bring back the shortcut...
Does anyone have an idea how to restore the system as it was before- or to bring Knox to silence again?

Try to remove app and reboot phone. I am not sure if it will help, but try if you did not.
I posted this on the Galaxy Tab S forums too. Sorry, but I'm a bit worried this might have a grim solution :/
I done goofed.
Allowed the young one to play with the tablet, lo and behold, the fingerprint scanner was "gone" and the tablet was requesting the alternate password, which I'm ashamed to say I have no Idea what it is.
I've tried to access the tablet with Android Device Manager, which gives me 3 options, RING - BLOCK - ERASE
After researching, I read that clicking on block and setting up a password there would work, but it doesn't. It just gives me a message saying that "Since google has verified that a screen lock is already set, the password that you entered won’t be needed"
There's no samsung account set.
While I know I could do a factory reset, It would be sad to lose some of the photos and files on the device.
Crazy ideas to help this fool here?
cheers,
Dan
Hello all,
after an update - I can't find the menu "compass" and "setting"!
Do have anybody the same issue or can anybody give me an advice?
Is there a possibility to downgrade to the original firmware?
Where can I find this firmware?
Thank for all you help,
bertunderni
Which FW you're using now?
Have you tried to enable/disable the hidden menu in Mi Fit app?
You can find old FW from apkmirror, search for desired Mi Fit version, extract the FW and flash using Gadgetbridge.
Beware some users reported/encountered flashing issue --> bricked BIP.
It works - many thanks!

Thank you very much for this Solutions - the menu was not hidden, but to recreate the list was the solution!
All menus now appeares again,
Bertunderni
For Italians:
Recreate menu list

Found it. Many thanks for the help - really quick response!
I also got missing screens. Unfortunately my Bip does not like to bind with Mi Fit. I think previous owner missed to unbind the watch....
Which options do I have? I flashed older Firmware with no luck. I'm now on .36 Firmware.
Is there any possibility to get the missing screens back without the Mi Fit App?
Or is there any possibility to force the Bip to bind with Mi Fit?
Thanks in Advance

Have you tried to factory reset from the watch settings?
Hi! I have faced the same problem. Unfortunately Mi Fit couldn't set menu items - kept complaing that it cannot save configuration. Fortunately Notify & Fitness for Amazfit did great job at enabling Settings menu and disabling Alipay!
Same issue here!

But when i edit the menu items in Notify & Fitness, it works while the mi fit app not started, when i start the mi fit-app then the settings menu is hided agin.
I have the same problem. Mi fit don't want to save the order or to disable the aliplay shortcut but Notify & Fitness can do it. But after a while, when i use mi fit, the aliplay shortcut comes back on my Amazfit Bit
I had the same problem, but it seems to be fixed after I dissociate the bip in the mi fit app and did the association again.
I got same issue ... But even after dissociate/unpairing my watch and reconnecting its still complains that its not possible to save order. Also after update my watch is not showing callers name when i get calls :/ before it showed.... Anybody knows how to deal with these problems?
I had to install the previous version of the mi fit app because it was working badly. I see there is and update, anybody tried it? I want to know if it works now
Same issue here. Alipay is present, settings are missing on Bip. When try to change ( hide Alipay and unhide Settings) it in Mi App I get a "can't save" message.
I'm on v.1.1.5.04 and app 3.5.7
Hey, I fixed the issue (sort of) by downloading the previous version of the mi fit app (the previous one to the 28 of december). I found it in apkmirror page. You have to disable the automatic updates in the play store though. Hope it helps.
Ps: the 16/01/19 update still has the same problem so if you want to use mi fit app do what i said early!
I am missing the button settings on the amazfit bip. Changed FW but old one is gone
With the latest update of the MiFit app that was released today the changes of functions luke like settings is working. So I could disable the in my country useless AliPay and enable the Settings.
