Forgot pattern on Android 10 Beta - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone,
I have managed to forget my pattern. :crying: I'm on a Pixel 1 and on Android 10 Beta 4. The problem is I have my bitcoin wallet on that device, which is the reason why I cannot factory reset it.
The problem is I cannot reach the device via Google Find, even though it's connected to my WiFi. I also tried putting in a simcard - this didn't help either. Next problem is, I cannot access it via ADB, only via fastboot in bootloader mode.
Any ideas what else I could try? I'm starting to give up...
Best regards

[Q] How to unblock my Omega Tablet?

Hi!
I was looking for answer here and with uncle Google but havn't found anything what would help me. I bought one of 'china style' tablet with Android and create pattern unlock. The probem is that I made pattern too many times wrong. Now only thing which I can do is login with google account but Wi-Fi is turned off. Development mode is turned off too so I can't do anything with it by adb console. I was also trying to run it in bootloader with home+power, home+vol(-)+power, home+vol(+)+power, vol(-)+power, vol(+)+power, back+power and sort of this kind combination but it didn't work for me. So my question is - what can I do to unblock my tablet? Pretty plz 4 help.

It is probably too late for you, but maybe it will help somebody else - I have found how to factory reset Omegle PC tablet. Press ALL the keys, except the power button, at the same time (that means - volume up, volume down, home, back and menu keys) and then press Power key. After that tablet started in recovery mode, I had to press volume and power buttons again to enter menu where I had service commands, amongst them is factory reset (wipe all data).

Touchmate Utab TM-MID785 too many pattern attempt lock

My friend's little sister was playing with this device and she somehow lock the device. Now, when I turn on the tab it asks for gmail account and password.. (which my friend tried his own and no luck with google verifcation etc). Is there anyway to reset this device?
In this device there is no custom or stock recovery. Just a dead android sign when open recovery nothing else. Also I cannot tick USB debugging from the settings because I cannot access the OS.
Please tell me how to reset this device? Is there any hardware solution or tutorial available to factory reset any android device?
here is device specifications

[Q] Have problems connecting to google servers and cannot use recovery, unlocked?

Hello,
I am sorry if the question has been answered before, or this is the wrong forum...
I had problems with gmail and the playstore, none allowed the login, I always received connection error on different wifis. So I wiped data (which worked) but the initial setup is stuck on the connection to the google servers again. It won't connect and authenticate my google login.
So I tried the RCK option in the debug menue, but it only gives me an android with an exclamation mark.
Now my wuestion, I tried to unlock in the past, but was unable to do so (Connection error, blahblahblah...). Is it possible I am unlocked and have no knowledge of this? Is there an app which can test the unlocked bootloader or is trying to flash a custom rom "safe" as it just fails and everything will work as normal after that?
Thanks in advance,
hal
Hello,
fixed it by using fastboot and the latest image given by Asus. I still wonder why my recovery won't work...

Galaxy Note 3 - Restarts when trying to Encrypt

Hi,
I did a bunch of search strings on here and Google to try and find a solution to my problem to no avail. I really hope you guys can help.
My device: Galaxy Note 3 - N900W8 - Rooted and Unlocked (RegionLock Away 1.3)
My Problem:
I'm trying to connect the device to my works account via Exchange ActiveSync. My company forces encryption on the device as part of the setup processes. When I try to Encrypt the device (Fast Encrypt or not) it shows the Encryption Android dude (Green) as if it's going to start and then the phone just turns off and reboots.
Any ideas what the issue could be? Is it possible that because the phone is rooted, the security settings that my works places on it doesn't like it?
Thanks.
H
Hi, I was experiencing the same thing, I was playing with the encryption and now my lock screen pattern and pin is not an option anymore and I have to use the encryption password, when my device is not even encrypted! I cannot decrypt because every time I go into the Encrypt device option, It goes back to rebooting just like you mention. Anybody can help?
Thanks,
T2

Question LOCK SCREEN/CODE MALFUNCTION - NEED HELP TO RECOVER DATA WITHOUT CODE OR FACTORY RESET!!!

I have a Motorola G Power (2021) that suddenly rebooted, without warning. When it powered back on the lock screen would not accept the PIN code that I have always used. I know that I am definitely using the correct code but something glitched and now I am locked out of my phone.
Doing a factory reset is NOT an option because my only recording of a loved one's voice/our final conversation before her death is on a file on the phone. So I cannot and will not do a factory reset to skip the code, or I lose that file.
I could easily transfer that file to my laptop via USB first and then do a factory reset, as everything else that matters on that phone – such as photos and videos – is backed up via Google and able to be restored. The audio file is not backed up to Google because it is from an app that does not back up to Google.
Unfortunately, when I connect the cell phone to the laptop, it does not show up because the default setting on the phone when USB is connected is set to charging, not file transfer. To change that setting, I have to enter the lock code... which no longer works.
So, I desperately need help figuring out how to get the laptop to recognize the cell phone and allow me to transfer the audio file off of it, without being able to get through the lock screen to change the USB settings... or how to bypass the lock screen without a working PIN.
I have Android Studio and I know that there are workarounds for phones that have Android Debugging enabled, which mine does. I just need someone knowledgeable to walk me through this.
HELP... PLEASE???
most likely that was only crashing/hot reboot otherwise google backup wouldn't work.
if you cold reboot the phone your files stay encrypted and can not accessed remotely, unless decrypted with lock screen pin.
on the other hand cold reboot might circumvent the deny of correct PIN (in case it was minor issue just caused by crash).
I think it's a patt situation. you will lose all files no matter what you try to get in. I would just do nothing for 24 hours and keep it charged.
if you have usb-debugging authorized you can try to access files from adb. first thing, backup your %UserProfile%\.android\adbkey.pub from all your computers you ever have connected the phone (important)
install usb drivers and download platform-tools, then type from cmd.exe
Code:
adb devices
adb pull -a /sdcard
