What I see on Google Play says that the app is not compatible with my device. I have a Xiaomi Mi A1 running Android 9.
I installed the APK file manually on my phone and I get the following error message when opening the app 'Amazfit keeps stopping'.
Any idea how to fix it? Thanks!
Try to install latest update to your watch. To do this, make a complete reset to your watch trough menu options. Then, follow directions on screen.
Later on, connect the watch using Bluetooth to your phone...

Thanks! The problem is that the watch shows the QR code with the text 'Download the APP binding watch' and I cannot update it, even if I do a factory reset.

Waooo... First notice for me. When I bought the watch, first instalation didn't need to use QR code; actually it has an alternative way without using any code...
Curiosly, when I open Playstore right now and look for the amazfit app, it says that “this app is no longer compatible for your device"....
I'm my case, since I'm using it without problems since first time I installed it going to investigate a little bit more to find out this issue happened... It seems a matter of software...

The problem I think is that the app is not compatible with Android 9. Even if I install it manually with the .apk downloaded from the Play Store the app crashes when I launch it on my phone. Is there a way to use the watch without pairing with the phone? It looks like that's required...

I have a Huwaei Mate 9 with Emui 9 (Android 9.1) I bought the Amazfit a month ago while I was on Android 9.0....it was just before the new Huwaei update. So, it doesn't have to do with Android 9...did you restore the device completely? If so, I think you have to contact amazfit support.

The app is down for everyone. Amazfit screwed it up, complain at Amazfit support [email protected].
To activate your watch, go to freemyband.com and install the modified Amazfit apk. Open it, register on a anonymous email acount, activate watch and let it update and syn. Then install from Playstore Notify and Fitness for Amazfit. You now can couple the watch with the obtained authentification key. Use Notify and Fitness and forget about Amazfit app. If you really need it, use the Mifit app instead.
No need to worry, download the Amazfit apk yourself and install it. The app will work.

WOW, this works, Thanks! What do you suggest to do, should I stay with this app until Amazfit doesn't update the app on Google Play?
I use a Xiaomi Pocophone F1 Android 9 with my Amazfit app

It will show up automatically in the Play store when Amazfit fixed the issue.

This once is working perfect on my Huwaei Mate 9 with Android 9.1
I'm also running fine from the start. I'm on Mate 10 pro on Android 9.1 (EMUI) amazfit app installed fine, 1st up.
So the amazfit app did install fine from the play store and does work fine for me.
I'm on the 42mm GTR watch.

Android Wear app is bugged even on Android (at least for my devices). Try again to install your apps and maybe it will work.

Try to install those apps on your iPhone then connect the watch to your iPhone and wait for them to get synced to your watch.
After I installed PACEfied 1.2.39 AmazFit works but cannot sync. so I did factory rest, then my watch cannot pair it stuck at QR code and always pop-up Bluetooth isn't turned on in my iPhone even if I already turn on Bluetooth. How can I pair my watch? I hope my watch will not brick. :crying:
Have you tried removing the watch from the bluetooth list then try to resync it again? I had problems syncing PACEfied until I did this step.

Yes. I've tried remove the watch from the Bluetooth list but my phone cannot find my watch. I tried others phone but it still not work.

I have solved my problem as below;
First uninstall app from phone, then from settings change itunes&app stores country/region to China. Turn phone off and on, install Amazfit app from app store.
After installing you can change back to your own country.

I updated my Pixel 2 phone to Android 10 last night. Since then the MiFit app can't connect to my Amazfit Bip.
Anyone else on Android 10 yet?
Yes and having the same issue. Pixel 2 as well. Uninstalled and reinstalled MiFit with no luck.

Try using the Amazfit app instead of the MiFit app. Support for Bip was added this year.
Definitely better than using the MiFit app. Works on Android 10. I'm on Pixel 2XL

Thanks for this suggestion, Amazfit support also suggested this, and I was sceptical as the details for that app don't mention the Bip. However after a phone reboot it does indeed seem to connect !
I'm having the same issue. I'll try amazfit app now instead of "mi fit". thanks!

I ended up having to unpair/repair my watch with the "Amazfit" app otherwise it just wouldn't connect. After that it seems to be working! thanks!
After a couple of days mine now stopped working completely too and I had to do a reset of the watch and reinstall the app.
Connectivity is definitely the worst aspect of the watch
Any fix after upgrading to android 10 amazfit sync is really bad or just doesn't work. It connects fine goes to 100% but nothing is synced.
I also have mi fit install since Google fit can't simync with amazfit without (or my xiaomi scale)
Any ideas?

I have encountered the same problem, plus when i tried to update from 1.3.4.11 to newer version the watch always restart. Now i couldn't even use a watch, it currently display "Please open the App ..."
I got the same fw update with my new gtr47mm and note9. After pairing, the fw update hang and watch rebooted. However, i paired the watch with an iphone8+ and everything went fine. Fw updated and i can sync a watch face.
After pairing it with note9, the sync issue popped up. Agps update failed, and after a few retries it passed. However Failed each time trying to sync watch face.
Help!!!!

Hi, please try to install earlier version of Amazfit app (i.e 3.2.0). My GTR 42mm seems to get insane battery drain by latest 3.4.4 version. Now situation with Amazfit 3.2.0 looks promising

I found the solution for GTS, perhaps it was the same issue. Try in bluetooth setting scan for the watch. If it didn't find the watch follow this: https://www.androidexplained.com/galaxy-note-9-bluetooth/

I have a T-Rex watch paired with a Note 10 Lite. It worked perfectly until yesterday. Now i can't sync any watchface. I get sync error and the watch restarts. Also sometimes AGPS update does not work and watch restarts. Everything else seems to work fine, heartrate and exercise data sync ok. I tried factory reset on watch and phone, clear bluetooth data and cache. If i pair the watch with my girlfriends Iphone X it works perfectly, watchface sync and all. Any sugestions? Thans!
Hi, I bought amazfit gtr a week ago. I installed firmware 1.3.5.37 resources v50 fonts 11 for Greek support, gps was never installed even the first time I started the watch. When I open amazfit app automatically updates to firmware 1.3.5.53 and the watch freezes to waiting for update. I manually install firmware 1.3.5.37 using notify app. Everything works fine but the gps still not working. I have never opened amazfit app again because it automatically updates to firmware 1.3.5.56. As you can see from the screenshots. Does anyone has an idea how to solve this? Specially the gps problem.
