You mean the 18 months old kk-version?
Battery was very good on a lot of kk-roms, although as I understood the OP, he was talking about the newer Roms he didn't check yet.

I read and understood what he said, and advised him accordingly. Why would i suggest a KK rom? He did say new right?
Have you checked the dev tread lately, you will find the new Slim Rom 4.8 ported by Rakesh. V 5.1.1 LP

Sorry, this is just a confusion.
Obviously you talk of the stock based SLiM Rom, and I was referring to the famous aosp-/cm-based slim Rom.
I hate the name they chose, it's so similar to slimrom.

i can't find slim rom 4.8. link please?
i only found 4.7 discontinued
I recommmnd the Google Style ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2/development/rom-google-style-v1-0-t3300253
It's a Sony stock-based ROM with AOSP/CM apps. The fastest ROM I've ever used, and I get very regularly over 5h SOT with very, very heavy usage

It was his last port 4.8
I will try it after slim rom. My experience with purex premium is so good so far that I can't expect more.
This device still got some life in it. Definitely was a good deal.

Yes, you can. I am check the screenshot.
First flash Rakesh's port 4.8 full rom as a base for Z2. Then on your link download the 4.9 OTA and flash it.
Later you can change your buildprop line for model number to say D6503.

No its not as much slimed down like Purex or Google -Style and far away from the ~300mb of AOSP - like Roms.
But hey, if you install it as your first rom, it will go on systems partition anyway, so why bother? There are lots of people that say it's smooth and battery saving (although some complain about 4.9 being not so battery -friendly as the version before).
I am curious about which marshmallow-roms will show up, and till then I just stay with GoogleStyle as my primary.
Even spent some Bucks on AOKP, cause they made my old HTC wildfire run android 4.04 with tons of features and a power -saving mode I haven't seen on any z2-rom (autoswitch to 2g at screen off) so far....

Yes Sony said so. At the moment there is a beta program in selected countries.
Atm there are MM-builds of Validus, AOKP, AOSP, CM13 (and possibly others) available, hope Sony releases their official version soon.
Guys, I bought this device recently, the x829 version of 64 GB and 4 of ram, and I would like to know which rom is more stable now? Mokee, RR, CM? Fingerprint and IR are working normally? Camera?
Anyone who can share the experience would help a lot.
Sorry for bad English

For Android 6.X it is better to stick with Cuoco92 ROM as it supports OTA weekly and everything is stock and just debloated. Install Nova Launcher and you are good to go.
For Android 7.X now that the camera is working I am looking for the people that have already updated to 7.X for daily use to tell us our experiences and bugs and see if it is worth it or better to wait.
I am using mokee with Android 6
Everything works for me ?
I'll wait few days to get some nougat release for daily use

More battery life with this rom?
All have problems except those based on stock and just debloated. Best are china s21 or s23.
Other ROMs have many unpleasant surprises, are always broken somewhere and you never know it until you need a specific feature and then realize you can't use it.

Hello my bro
I use all roms and best rom is 5.9.021s stable

Heyyo, just a heads up with my x829 I found that the fingerprint reader didn't work properly until I flashed a different modem firmware. It seems it also handles some other parts of the device. I flashed the latest Chinese s23 firmware and she is golden now

Sorry but i don't see any problem or anything broken in AOKP, Unofficial LOS and Mokee all MM and all by andr68rus.
Only the Nougat versions have issues. BTW stock rom has various issues and problems, one of them being SOT, battery life, not supporting QC3 and i'm not even mentioning performance...
Please tell me which problems do you find on the custom roms stated above...?
My stock x829 supports QC 3.0 even metered it to make sure.

I don't think so, email notifications don't work on my phone with this ROM.
Most stable rom is unofficial lineage os 13 by andr68rus

I'm using the last Indian stock and don't see any problem.
Several days on DU rom Nougat 7.1.2. I'll be staying with this for a while. I've not found any bugs, at least those that effect my use, and can be fully themed. By now I usually find a good excuse to flash something else, but andr68rus' DU is a true beauty IMO.
hi Guys,
I have a new X829 and I'm looking to flash the best ROM from a stability and battery perspective.
I've been a fan of CM in the past so would have a bias towards Lineage and prefer stable versions which have OTA support rather than nightly's or beta versions etc.
Is there any reason not to just go with the official 7.1.1 Lineage ROM? http://www.lineageosrom.com/2017/03/Download-LineageOS-LeEco-Le-Max-2.html
Guys what do you recommend? Android Pie stable or beta? Or do you recommend any custom rom? Thank you!

Any bugs? I mean I prefer all options to be working which are working in Miui. I am not talking about the ones which are explicitly for Miui but in general.

This rom solves the screen delay?
In all honesty, everyone is different. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. If you don't mind flashing, I urge you to try a few and see what fits you the best. What's good for one is not always what's good for the other. Personally, I use pixel experience with pix3lfy magisk module... But that's just what I like.
I literally try every single rom I can find for my devices. Each one has its good and bad sides. Sometimes I like using a Pie ROM, sometimes I like MIUI. I'm using Pixel Experience right now, but as soon as the next MIUI from Xiaomi.eu is available I'll be installing that one.
Every person uses their device differently and therefore will have different requirements.
Me, I look for smoothness of operation and long battery life.
Syberia is great, Havoc is good, PE is lovely, MIUI is nearly perfect (for me).
Get comfortable with backing up your data and flashing and try them all!
I flashed Mi-Room 8.12.13, and I can say, this one is the best I tried. Seems snappier than EU and stable/beta. I also tried LOS/PExperience but they seem half-finished...

Yes, but you won't notice any differences. At the moment I'rocking almost 10h SOT which I haven't managed to do since MIUI 9...
I do use Syberia, its great performance over 265k in Antutu and is stable af. I didnt found any single bug and OTA works good.
I would like to test Pixel Experience but im very comfortable with Syberia
I have used almost all custom ROMs available for Poco F1 except crDroid and Mokee. And this is my top 5 choices.
1. Stock miui (8.12.13; Rooted and debloated a few system apps)
2. Miui EU
3. NOS
4. Omni
5. AOSiP
Right now I am using NOS+MicroG+Magisk+Derp Kernel and the combination seems to work for me pretty well. Anyway, this is my personal choice. You may have different experience.

I'd like to know what is the best custom(in terms of performance, smoothness and battery drain) that I can install on this device. Thanks
The best custom rom for your device is the one "you" like best. If you want an experience like stock google then try Pixel rom. If you want massive customization then try havoc. If you want a better miui experience try xiaomi.eu or mi-globe. If you don't know what you want try them all.

Not used in in a long time. Mokee is basically a lightly modified Chinese version of CyanogenMod/LOS. Which is why it has nightlies.

I believe they're bot builds anyway, as the maintainer left some time ago.
I personally use the official Syberia ROM. Its super fast. Before that I used beta AOSmP for a while. It too was fast & lean. Some ROMs/kernels are kinda laggy, those are not.
The private beta of miui Q just got released for our device so there should be some builds come along soon using the PHH base for custom aosp Q roms.

Hello brothers,
Can you please give me an advise ???
My device is mi a3 , What is the best one of custom roms thats give me many features more that stock rom and others custom roms.
Havoc OS and Evolution X.
According to my knowledge the best roms that have many customisation features for mi A3 would be Evolution X and Havoc OS.
But the development of Evolution X for mi A3 has been stopped I think and I had some issues while installing Havoc OS on my device

Why not use the stock Android 10 ROM? It's way stable than any custom ROMs. I'm using Android 10 stock ROM April build, rooted with magisk. I also installed Pix3lify and I installed EdExposed to use GravityBox.

What features are you looking for? I'm pretty sure GravityBox has them.
Stock ROMS are obviously way stable than any custom ROMS, it's a known fact. Besides fingerprint doesn't work properly on any custom ROMS and with the new Android 10 April build, fingerprint works very well and also works when the screen is off.
