The last mod that was made by @Zenkrey doesn't work with the latest 10.3.11 Global MIUI, and since most of the AOSP ROMs require the latest 10.3.11 it doesn't work on any of them.

Yeah, it doesn't work with the latest EolutionX instead, it makes it worse and locks it to 37hz
Because The dev of Evolution X doesnt support overclock of refresh rate

Please read the threads so you don't have to ask this questions, evolution already said that he won't support overclocking.

I've noticed several videos about a fully functional oxygen os rom that works on poco. I'm planning to use it but before I do i want to know :
Do you get oxygen os updates?
If it doesn't will i have to reinstall a new version every time?
Is it possible to return to miui whenever I want?
If you can live with no fm radio, bad 3.5 mm audio output and dont mind installing an app to toggle between silent/ringing mode then go for it.....its one of the best custom ports for poco.
as for updates i didnt updating but most probably a clean flash is recommended.

1. No, it's a port. Only the dev who ported it will give updates if he wishes so.
2. Yes, indeed.
3. Of course.

I've just never used custom Roms so I'm just making sure.
Thanks a bunch though!
Hi guys I have been blocked in telegram for asking a good custom kernel for battery life
This is really rude
Can anyone help me to join again in oos for poco F1 group

The best kernel for OOS (and generally for every ROM imo) is the provided stock kernel but yeah, that Telegram group is really toxic. I never say anything there because they can ban you for everything... Also, don't use custom kernels on OOS because they can break some functionalities.
Hi, I currently have the xiaomi.eu beta but since it doesn't receive updates I would like to try another rom.
Which one is currently the best?

You can try xiaomi.eu stable
TWRP
miui ms?
now thats a very tough question!
if i have to choose betweing custom roms, I would go for either CRDROID and/or HAVOC ! (on Optimus Drunk Kernel)

you can try xiaomi eu stable if you like miui or Revolution OS, if you want an AOSP rom you could try LOS, crdroid or pixel experience, even NOS is a good option to try
There's also a few oos ports around, however the question you're asking here is like going to Philadelphia and asking who makes the best Philly steak sub... You kind of have to try them until you find what you really like. There is some really great development for this phone and it's pretty much up to what you want in a ROM
miui ms
Should state what your criteria is? If it's gaming I feel Nos and miui Stable are still the best. I find both equally good.
Nos does have better customisation options, but I have had trouble while updating it from time to time.

had try it before but the font issue that not applied to system wide made me choose for crdroid ,plus crdroid updated frequently.
iOS 11
My personal favourite combo is Xiaomi.eu, Arter Kernel, F2FS and Chrysalis thermal mod set to Performance.

I'd like to know what is the best custom(in terms of performance, smoothness and battery drain) that I can install on this device. Thanks
The best custom rom for your device is the one "you" like best. If you want an experience like stock google then try Pixel rom. If you want massive customization then try havoc. If you want a better miui experience try xiaomi.eu or mi-globe. If you don't know what you want try them all.

What rom are supposed to use now? Evolution X seems dead like Pixel experience. The only ROM that seems alive, Miui apart, is Mokee, because in their website are updating nitghlys almost everyday, but I'm afraid tot test it... Someone here is using the mokee rom? Thanks.

Not used in in a long time. Mokee is basically a lightly modified Chinese version of CyanogenMod/LOS. Which is why it has nightlies.

I believe they're bot builds anyway, as the maintainer left some time ago.
I personally use the official Syberia ROM. Its super fast. Before that I used beta AOSmP for a while. It too was fast & lean. Some ROMs/kernels are kinda laggy, those are not.
The private beta of miui Q just got released for our device so there should be some builds come along soon using the PHH base for custom aosp Q roms.

There is no platina device for Syberia ROM, at least in his official site. And the last AOSmP ROM is on September. This looks very bad... :crying:

As soon as they demonstrate that they are out of a "fork" of MIUIPRO rom it will be acceptable.
They have been reported many time in the past.
Discussion is open.
A great rom, one of the best I've tried in this and other terminals, give support, support and in their channels they always treat you with the respect you deserve.
Thanks to the developers for the rom.

Y're right. I also made use of it after MUIUPRO asked for money.
Not really fair, but It's a kind of parity...
Did you check if it is well encrypting at TWRP latest? Because I only found EU and Globe daughter able to well encrypt as it is mandatory for my peace of mind.
Hello, is this stable enough to be used as a daily driver? It's better than 11.0.3 android 9?

That was in the past! When the rom was good and had a lot of customization. As soon as they stopped copying miuipro stuff, the rom lost all customization.
The dev said it was because he changed the base rom to one more stable and that customization would come back, but he was never able to do it.
In my opinion, is not even better than miui EU. It's a normal miui rom with YouTube vanced and micro g installed. It doesn't make any sense to me.

It is stable as long as you do a CLEAN FLASH. I tried a dirty flash and device reboots every 5 min.
Hello brothers,
Can you please give me an advise ???
My device is mi a3 , What is the best one of custom roms thats give me many features more that stock rom and others custom roms.
Havoc OS and Evolution X.
According to my knowledge the best roms that have many customisation features for mi A3 would be Evolution X and Havoc OS.
But the development of Evolution X for mi A3 has been stopped I think and I had some issues while installing Havoc OS on my device

Why not use the stock Android 10 ROM? It's way stable than any custom ROMs. I'm using Android 10 stock ROM April build, rooted with magisk. I also installed Pix3lify and I installed EdExposed to use GravityBox.

What features are you looking for? I'm pretty sure GravityBox has them.
Stock ROMS are obviously way stable than any custom ROMS, it's a known fact. Besides fingerprint doesn't work properly on any custom ROMS and with the new Android 10 April build, fingerprint works very well and also works when the screen is off.

Will you get security updates when you install these plugs?
I tried miui.eu bitnet 11.2 beta is very pretty than stock rom and everything works very well, fingerprint is very speed than stock rom and the camera else.
i tried syberia, EvoX, pixel experience, those three are faster, less battery consumption, and receives officially updated by developers.
