Hello everybody,
Looking for some advice on how to fix my connection problem between Airpods 2nd generation and Huawei mate 20 Pro.
I really like both devices but somehow the Airpods can't be used for calls. The microphone either picks up a lot of surrounding noise or does not record any sound input - meaning the caller can't understand me at all.
I have already tried resetting the airpods, updating their firmware, reconnecting them and adjusting the Bluetooth absolute volume checkbox in developer settings. Anyone has any other ideas on how to fix the issue? I have heard many people actually have no issues with the airpods of 1st gen at all.
Thanks in advance
Whoever also faces the same issue, try to set the maximum Bluetooth connection to 1 in developer settings. For now this seems to have solved the issue.

I'm experiencing a lot of disconnects and awful sound quality when connected to my parrot car system. Other phones seem fine so I wonder if the Honor has known issues with bluetooth?
Regards
Same here,
after Update to last official version OTA to Android 8, connection to Parrot mki9200 is well done, but in conversation, Bluetooth disconnects after 15 / 20 seconds and must connect manually.
Same here with sound quality.
But I ve found a solution: go into developer options and change LDAC quality from High sound quality to Adaptive - this resolves the bad sound quality for me, the only thing that it wont save it, so I have to change it everytime I listen to music.
Regarding Bluetooth issues, I had them too with my Mi Band 2. After short period of time, it disconnected my band and I had to open Mi Fit app for this band again and reconnect it.
Only solution I found working is to disable automatic turn off for this app and lock it via "task manager", so it is running all the time in the background. Only downside is that it is really battery challenging.
All started shortly after Oreo update was installed.
Asked a question a while back about the issue with Bluetooth audio cutting back to the phone speaker, is there a fix out for it yet? If not, do Huawei know about the bug?
Thanks

I have this little problem with my new Huawei.
(I have a Mate 10 Pro, couldn't find a section for that specific model)
Whenever I connect it to my car or Bluetooth headphones, the audio from my phone will randomly switch from my car speakers or my headphones to the phone speakers. The only way to get it outputting audio through the Bluetooth device again, is by reseting my Bluetooth connection. However, it does this every time and its driving me insane.
Can someone help me with this? Thanks in advance.

Can't help with a solution I'm afraid but I get the same on BLA-L09 C782, firmware 131. It sometimes refuses to connect to anything until I switch into airplane mode and back.
Other times it will connect fine then switch to loudspeaker almost immediately - even though bluetooth still says it's connected (and the play/pause button works on the device). It seems fairly random and reconnecting a few times gets it to work for a while, but it's annoying when it happens while driving.
My guess is that it's an audio routing issue, so most likely a software glitch.
Has anyone switched to a treble rom and still finding the problem? Or has anyone noticed it has gone with a later firmware update?
Hi guys,
wondering if anyone else has this issue - while playing games/listening to music which support "direction" playing (meaning only one side of the headphones should play a sound at a time - e.g. footsteps in pubg), my headphones won't support this and just make the sound on both sides.
I've tried different types of headphones (they do work properly on other phones), yet on mi a3 it won't.
Has anyone encountered this? any idea if its a hardware malfunction / settings issue / anything else?
thanks for assisting

The mi a3 has the mono audio accessibility feature enabled by default for some reason... Just go into the accessibility settings and disable it.
No issues here, stereo sound playing normally.
Can confirm stereo
Hi XDAdevelopers,
So i recently updated my Huawei Mate 20 PRO to EMUI 10, and i am happy in general with the new features that this new update provides, but i have found as well a problem, so i always used Apple Airpod and it worked always perfectly, but after the new EMUI 10 update i cannot say the same, while watching videos everything is still great, but the problem is actually during calls, the audio and the mic quality became really poor, specially while using Discord.
I have tried restart the phone, unpair the airpods and even change the Bluetooth AVRCP Version, and still this problem persists.
If you guys know a way to fix this or if you have found the same problem with other Bluetooth earplugs or headset share here so we can find a way to fix.
Thank you
Hi, another Bluetooth problem here.
My Plantronics headset was working great on emui 9.
Last night my mate 20 pro told me that the update to emui 10 was (at least...) ready to be installed.
Since this update, every time I want to listen to my favorite web radio at this url: cinemaradio(dot)net
When I push on the play button on the main page, on the player at the bottom, I can hear the radio for half a second, then blank, then my head set goes "not connected", then blank, then "headset connected".
I tried reboot, re-pairing without success.
Any guess?
Hello all, who can help some how to fix this issue, if someone knows something about this please - reply in this thread
Whenever I connect my AirPods Pro to Oneplus 7T Pro, I get low microphone volume, like half of what I've had when I used Oneplus 5. From what I have tried.
I connected powerbeats 2 for test with bluetooth mic app test and - mic working amazing, very nice, clean and loud voice, but not AirPods Pro.
Some troubleshooting steps that I have tried are: disabling absolute volume in developer mode, reconnecting/repairing/reset the earphones, changing audio codecs, wiping all data, wiping storage and data of bluetooth. Nothing. Latest firmware for OP7T Pro and AirPods Pro
Some ideas how can it be fixed ?
That's concerning, I was about to buy one mainly for phone calls :/

I also had problems with bluetooth. Headphones at a volume level of 80% had reduced sound in the left channel. The system patch: 14.E.08_OTA_007-008_patch_1911061839_ab5fd has eliminated this problem.
