Question about (catastrophic) battery management (MIUI) - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Hi!
I use an Android wear based smartwatch, and because of the aggressive battery plan of MIUI, the connection between the watch and the phone is always disrupted, even with all MIUI battery optimization disabled. So I switched to another ROM but I would like to get back to MIUI, if you have any idea of what can cause this problem lemme know!
Thanks a lot!

Did you lock the app?

[Q] Dialer Partial Wake Usage

So on my non-daily driver Fascinate I'm running MIUIWiz. I get terrible battery life and compared to my CommRom running daily phone, the main difference is that in Spare Parts the Dialer is the main running process by far. CPU Spy shows 1000mhz as the most used state also. I assume this is related, as Airplane Mode solves both of those problems, but creates another one... how do I use it as a phone?
I've tried uninstalling GoContacts for the stock phone apk and both of those items remain the same. Reflash didn't change anything either. Maybe I'll redownload the ROM.
Any other suggestions on how to try solving this?
I'm just bumping this up in the hopes that someone knows(and will let me know) how to get the dialer to go into deep sleep.

[Q] CM 10.1 Xperia P Kernel

Dear Members :
This My first topic here i used just to read and download roms mods .... but really i was wondering if one day i post anything and that day come now i wanted to know what is the best Kernel For Cm10.1 Because I Use the Official Kernel That Percy Post In His rom and i really had issue with battery drains i need to charge my phone every night even i dont use wifi or data a lot just the Radio ... screen is only 32% i Desactivate the Auto Brightness I set my phone in airplane mode more then 10 hours and it still nothing made my battery better i also use battery calibration ....
I have never tried CM mods but I've tried several kernel and can't tell I've seen any difference regarding battery drain that resulted just from using custom kernel.
I'm currently on stock JB kernel and ROM with a fiew tweaks, greenify, bloatware removal, and stamina mode on.
The stats for today: time on battery 14:37, screen on an hour, battery level 78%, wifi on, viber yahoo messenger and facebook in background.
CM10.1 which version? Try to use latest nightly version.

[help] battery drain and bad performance

I recently installed kernel aduitor on my moto e running cm 11 stable with stock cm kernel. I messed around a couple of settings and now I'm facing a very bad battery life and terrible performance. It is so bad that apps don't even stay in foreground and the ram usage is around 95% as well. I wiped the system and reflashed the rom as well. Still even after 3 days of use the problem remains. Is there any way I can go back to the previous settings or reset the kernel settings. Or if possible can anyone post their working settings from kernel aduitor.
Thanks in advance.

Wifi hotspot drain

I am using my kenzo as a wifi hotspot throughout the day.
I can observe the battery draining drastically when hotspot enabled. Whereas on the other time, the battery works like charm.
Is there any way to stop this hotspot drain by controlling wakelocks, alarms, kernel tweak etc.,
Bro! It's like "I'll eat all I want but I don't wanna get fat"
Hotspot definitely consumes more battery.
One solution is to try disabling hardware acceleration in developer options. It showed little to no savings in my run.
Edit - it's for tethering.
Second, if you are on Oreo, go back to nougat. Oreo is still under development and nougat is stable af.
If these didn't help, wait until someone else replies or do your own research.
Advice - Get a mobile hotspot device. It's better.

Battery Apps, for Rooted OREO ROM, do they really work?

Hi all,
Does that Battery App really work? Does it have some benefits or ....
I run an OnePlus 5T, Rooted, with custom ROM (Omni Treskmod).
Phone have Xposed and Magisk. I disabled all the GPS, BT and WiFi.
Screen is on 30% brightness. I also disabled cell broadcast, I use Greenify to stop Apps.
But my regular question is: Is this Battery apps really work? As example, Amplier app.
