Does anyone have Enpass working on Android 10? I have encountered two problems.
First, I go into an authentication loop trying to sync with Google Drive. Authentication is successful, then I am sent back to the "Pick an account to sync with" screen. I can get around this problem by copying Enpass settings from another phone running Android 9, then I have the second problem - autofill does not work. Autofill prompts me for a PIN, asks me to select the item, then returns to the login screen without filling in the user/password.
Possibly the autofill problem is caused by copying the settings from another phone, but I can't determine that until the authentication loop problem is fixed.
Enpass version 6.2.0.245
Android 10 build # QP1A.190711.020.C3
Problem solved. First, if the "Don't keep activities" option under Apps in Developer Options is enabled, disable it. If that does not fix it, disable Developer Options and test. Re-enable Developer Options. It should still work. Some of your developer options will be disabled, so you'll have to re-enable them.

I just recently got the 5.0.2 update and have a couple of questions.
1. When I set up a pattern lock, then decided I didn't need it, I went to change it back to swipe unlock, only to find it grayed out and the message "Disabled by administrator, encryption policy or credential storage"
Tried looking through any settings I could find that related to those reasons but could find nothing that seemed to relate to resetting swipe unlock as an option. Has anyone encountered this or know how to fix it?
2, So I decided to set up Smart Lock with my home as a trusted location. But the device is still locked every time I turn it on, even though the Smart Lock setting shows my tablet at home, right in the middle of the radius of dots it says is the trusted location and I still have to go through the 2 step process of swiping on the main lock screen with the notifications on, then entering the security pattern on a separate screen then finally getting into the home screen.
Any ideas on this one?
And when lollipop comes to the z3 phone is pattern unlocking going to be a 2 step process on that as well?
Regards for any information on these questions.

Do you have an exchange account setup? I know my work email server has restrictions where I have to have a screen lock.

Currently having the same issue. Tried deactivating all device administrator but still could not revert back to swipe unlock

Does anyone know if deleting credential storage will result in any adverse effect?
Well still no joy, although Smart Lock did recognize my location once, but then 10 minutes later it wasn't working again.
And no Spectre51, I don't have an exchange account set up.
Do you have anything under Settings->Security->Device Administrators? I just removed my outlook/exchange account and had the same issue but under device administrators outlook device policy was still checked. Unchecked that and I could change it to swipe.
I know you said you don't have an exchange account but maybe something else in there is still enabled causing the issue.

Only thing turned on under device administrators was Protection by myXperia, turned that off, no change.
Hi,
I use the Android multi-user function with the account of my wife an me. When I switch between the accounts either from the lockscreen or the settings, the home- and the multitaskbutton vanish. Only the back-button is still there and somehow working. The only way to get those buttons back is rebooting the device.
Is there anyone who can confirm this or is my device the only one which behaves this way?
Is there anyone who has also setup a multiuser device?
I would be grateful for an answer.
Bye
I had this once after i tapped to fast in preferences, but cant reproduce.
Have also two accounts without passwords.
Hi,
it must have been an authentification problem. There pops up an dialog, where the device asks for authentication of the google account. Something must have gone wrong with that. After some tries this dialog popped up again while using the second user. I verified the account with the accountdata of the "owner of the device". Since then the buttons did not disappear anymore.
I have exactly the same issue with my Z4. Looking for a fix now
Have a customer with a Samsung Galaxy Tab E SM-T560NU. It's running Android 5.1.1. My customer wants parental control filters put on because he can't stop himself from watching porn on it (planning on using Norton Family). Problem is, Android 5+ have this stupid guest account that lets anyone get on and use the device, bypassing any filtering or parental controls.
All the guides have told me to go to Settings, Users, then press the 3 dots in the top right to disable guest account creation at the lock screen. Even Norton's instructions say to do this. But this tablet doesn't have 3 dots. It doesn't have a menu button. I tried holding down the program switch button, and it wants to do split screen apps.
I got desperate, so I rooted the phone. Tried a half dozen SQLite editors, followed the instructions at reddit. com/r/Android/comments/323l36/android_5x_how_to_disable_guest_additional_user/ (skipping steps 2 through 4), and it just won't save the change of guest_user_enabled to 0. I also installed ADB, ran ADB Shell on the PC, enabled USB debugging, approved the ADB connection, and ran "settings put global guest_user_enabled 0" to no effect. Running "settings get global guest_user_enabled" shows the value as 0 instead of 1, but reaccessing the SQLite DB shows it's still 1, and I can still get into the guest account from the lock screen after deleting the guest account. I also tried "settings put global guest_user_enabled 0" after running su to no avail. And I did restart the tablet after running the command. Once I did get behavior as expected, clicking on the person icon in the top right brought up the contact card instead of the menu to switch users, but after I went into settings and clicked on guest, it undid it.
So. Long story short, tl;dr, is there any way to disable the guest account?

Bump - Anyone?
Hey there
So as the title says, i have been unable to use swipe lock for some reason, its grayed out and says "Disabled by administrator, encryption policy or credential storage" and its getting really annoying now.
I've already tried clearing the credential storage by going to "Lockscreen and security > Other security settings" but the option doesn't gray out after clearing the storage once as it is supposed to so im not sure if its even clearing the storage at all or not.
I've also tried disabling all the Device Administrators but that didnt work either.
The only thing that remains is the Encryption Policy but i have no idea what to do about that. The screen lock got disabled after i tried to set up a VPN, but didn't so I'm guessing thats what caused this.
Is there any other way to fix this without a Data reset ? since it'll be a hassle for me to do that.
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo running Lollipop 5.1
Uhm guys can you help me I want to remove any type of password protection on my HONOR 7. If I wanna remove from pin to none it none option is grey and it shows disabled by administrator, credential storage or encryption policy. What should I do?

Have you even read the question being asked
It's maybe due to encryption
Guys check this this is what is shows. I disabled android authority manager yet it shows this. How do I change the encryption policy?
I think you have to check the users (on device), as I think you're using it in guest mode
have you looked in advanced settings accessibility or in security and device admins
why you dont use fingerprint? its faster than pressing button imo
I ain't finding any such thing. I have to go to a service centre as my fingerprint is broke. Thats why I don't want it. No I'm the only administrator. What should I check in accessibility?
Go to Security, click Clear credentials, go back to Screen lock & passwords, turn Screen lock to Off, turn it on again to use Swipe lock again. To use fingerprint unlock again, you need to use pin, pattern or password again. Now you can set your lock screen to any.
In Android 6.0, it doesn't work...
