Dualshock 3 / Sixaxis / PS3 Controller support - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

I've been trying to pair my Dualshock 3 with my Poco running Android 9 (tried MIUI / Pixel Experience / LineageOS) using Sixaxis Controller app but it didn't work on any of them,
Then I did a little research about the problem only to find out that I wasn't the only one, as some people said that Dualshock 3 isn't supported by Android 9 because it required some kind of Bluetooth protocols or libraries that doesn't exist in Android 9,
So, my questions are:
- Is there any way to pair Dualshock 3 with Pocophone F1 running Android 9?
- Can getting some files from /system or /vendor from Android 8 or 8.1 and putting them in Android 9 solve the problem (as Sixaxis Controller app worked with Android 8 and 8.1)?
- Is there any kernel or file to flash that will solve the problem? (I already tried Twisted Kernel and it made Dualshock 3 work with Android 9 but through a USB cable and an OTG adapter, which is not what I'm looking for).

No, there isn't a way with OTG with no kernal. You can write you phones Mac address to the DS3 using a PC and DS3 pair tool and connect directly through Bluetooth.
I have flashed a kernal on my KIW-L21 and have not noticed any decrease in battery or performance and OTG works like it should.

Is android wear/tv open source

I have a interest in rom development the port kind(note 7 note 4 type stuff)
And i ve been wondering if android tv is open source because i would like to make roms for non android tv tv boxes
Example: xiaomi mi box mini
If it is why does no one make roms for non android tv boxes?

(Q) AptX for MiPAD

There is a zip file that circulates around that can enable AptX function for many devices.
AFAIK, most LOS rom does support AptX function.
Does anyone know or tried it on Mipad using MIUI before?

Wetek Play 2 - Android TV 9.0

Hello,
I've got a question about installing Android TV 9.0 on a Wetek Play 2.
The Wetek Play 2 has almost the same specification as the Mi Box 4kso theoretically it could run Android TV 9.0 i believe.
I can find a lot of Linux disto's online for the Wetek, but almost no Android distro's. Sadly the Wetek-forum is gone, so no intel there...
Does anyone no if there is a rom to install Android TV 9.0 on a Wetek Play 2?

Mecool K5 with SoC S905X3

Hello, I have the Mecool K5 with original firmware updated on 04-06-2021 and I have two problems that I cannot solve:
1- the device does not play any streaming video via website. For example, if I try to play content on a TV channel site, the screen opens but the video doesn’t start.
2- Netflix works quietly from the App store Google play is not updated, a message appears warning about the inability to update.
Have you also noticed these problems? Are there any solutions? What can I do to remedy?

I don't have Netflix but everything else works really good, really similar experience to stock Google tv but some functions such as screen mirroring are still not working but you can still use Miracast+ and other stock apps still provided on this ROM.
You cannot install this ROM by update but if you have a USB A to USB A cable the flash with amlogic USB flashing tool is pretty straight forward.

Sorry for the late reply I've been very busy.
The process to install the ROM is pretty straight forward. USB A to A cable. Amlogic USB burning tool usually also install the needed drivers. Once you have opened the program and loaded the firmware you connect the unpowered device holding the power button( to put it in bootloader mode), then once it has been recognized you can flash.
You must use the usb 2.0 not the blue one or it won't be recognized.

Hi there! I was wondering did any of you try or even succeed in using the box with a surround-sound system?
I have another Amlogic S905X3 based device (H96 Max X3) - tried 4 different Android ROMs but couldn't get any of them to output surround sound, all of them insist to downsample to stereo PCM. Only way I found for surround sound so far is CoreELEC booted from MicroSD-Card, but I'd prefer an Android based OS so I can use streaming apps from PlayStore.
