I have three scheduled alarms on my phone: two for weekdays, 5 minutes apart and one on Sunday. Last week the daily alarms went off and the Sunday alarm too yesterday. Today the weekday alarms did not sound although they appear to still be set in the clock app. I set these alarms three weeks ago. Stock G2 with Locale installed. Anyone else sufferring the same problem?
If you ever close down the clock application with taskmanager then it loses the alarms while still showing a icon in the status bar. You will have to open the clock program and uncheck, then check the alarms again to make them work.
Other than that I dont know, I havent had problems with my alarms.

Thanks Both. I was playing about with the new TasKiller app yesterday and accidently did a 'kill all' so this would explain the problem. I have tried Svarto's fix. Seems like Android needs a more robust process startup system
For some reason my weather widget when i'm at home always says 14 or current location, not the city name anymore. it has the correct name when i travel if i toggle gps and update the weather but never at home. is the anyway way to reset it clear the saved locations? I already tried the HTC weather widget in setting but all cache clearing options and the likes were grayed out. thanks for any help.
Quite common problem for users .... HTC and Verizon deny the problem exists though. I don't know of a definitive fix.
I figured out what it is, for me atleast. I use advanced task killer as im sure many eris users do (i know they say you dont need it but my eris can get sluggish with lots of apps running). I tried just not closing weather and it still gave me the issue, then on a whim I tried not closing the clock app as well. Voila! problem solved. It updates when I change position and the only apps I have running when idling are clock, weather, and atk.
That should solve it, just don't close out clock and weather and it should work.

For right now I wouldn't go force killing ANYTHING that was preinstalled on the phone when you got it. HTC Sense works in odd ways. As for me I only force kill apps that I put on the phone myself and I don't seem to have as many problems now (lockscreen lockups, jittery touch screen, touch screen not working).
Hi,
I've installed Lockscreen Agenda on my SGS2 but during the day I notice that sometimes it gets killed by the system. I've already went to the Lockscreen Agenda settings and checked the option "Persistent Mode" (which is supposed to prevent the system from killing it) but the issue persists. I've also notice that sometimes the Lockscreen Agenda takes like a second or two to show up once I wake up the phone (not always, but sometimes).
Any thoughts on both matters?
thanks
Rafa
Nobody?.....
No answers for you, but I have downloaded it as it looks like a great app!
It IS a great little app...and I don't know why, but it just stopped getting killed
I love the gmail widget however.... occasionally the widget stops displaying my emails. All I get is an option to view more conversations. At times locking the device and going back in re populates the widget. Other times I actually have to remove and re-add the widget. Is anyone else experiencing this and is there a permanent fix?
Yes, I got the same problem too. When I wait then it reverses alone and shows me mails. Just be patient.
i have same problem but with one clock widget. When i lock desktop after some time widget stop to work properly.
When pie came out, they cleaned up "unwanted" icons over on the right side and the little clock that meant an alarm was active went away. I just got a Samsung update yesterday, and the alarm icon is back for me. Did this happen for everyone?
I hated it disappearing because the google alarm app used to crash all the time and I could notice when the clock went away that I needed to restart it.
Same. I see the alarm clock icon, but I see it for a long time, don't remember. I also use Nice Lock so I may enable it from there.
