Why firmare update for this month is missing? Until now at 5 of every month mi A3 with global firmware have received a firmware update including at least a security patch: this month none has received the update. Google has released October security patch but mi A3 (an Android One phone) did not benefit from this update. does anyone know the reasons?

Maybe it will be getting android 10 this month thats why it takes too long

Google will released October SP today or tomorrow and other OEM needs 3-5 days to prepare for their phones.

MIUI 9 for redmi note 3 is ****. Expected update date is in January 2018.
Just bought mate 10 pro. It's android 8.0.0 with 1. January 2018 security update. Is this really latest update (i'am in Switzerland)?
It should have at least march update. Or am I wrong?
It's not. Check out Firmware Finder - it's an app which fetches all the firmwares on the Huawei servers and makes it available to you. There are tutorials everywhere.
welcome to the huawei world, bought my phone 2 weeks ago and im scared about updates either, my phone came with December/2017 security pacth and the march was on in Firmware Finder.
Install an app called Firmware Finder in the play store. This will auto recognize your phone firmware, and you will be ablle to test with your IMEI if the versions over there will work on your phone. I got the march now!

Hi, after i flashed Android 9 (not same region where i live) on SM-G965F about 3 months ago, im doesn't get any OTA updates or security patches and i stuck on 2018 dec patch even now. whats the problem ?
My step daughter had received her replacement phone this week after her newly purchased mi 10 5g bricked itself within 24 hours of purchasing.
I've had a little look at her new handset and it's shipped with a rom dated March 2020. My guess\instinct would tell me that it's likely that the update that caused the problem was based on 11 and it needed a more recent firmware than the one it's shipped with.
Does anyone have suggestions? Is this handset able to fastboot flash official stock updates without unlocking the bootloader? Is the how this handset updates or do I need a windows based app?
Should I download and install progressive updates from March till now, flashing one after the other?
