Hi all,
sorry if this is a wrong place to ask, in that case mods please move my topic to right group.
For the past 6 months I'm using DooGee T6 Pro with latest updates and it is a great phone.
Problems began like a month ago when one of a sudden a lot of commercials and adds started to pop up at any time.
Once i tun my internet connection (of any kind) off it stops.
Can anybody help with an advice how to stop this commercials/adds?
Thanks

Probably it's caused by some App, but Anyway, you can try ADAway app, it should work on rooted and non rooted phones.
hi there,
sry for my bad english. its been a while that i have written something ^^
i have the same problem. random ads that pop up, no matter which app is open.
the first source for this ads was the app "com.android.snap". it can be stopped when you open preferences->Apps, then hit the button left of the home-button to show the menue. there you can show systemprocesses. then you can see the app com.android.snap and can deactivate it.
unfortunately, its only part of the problem.
after 2 weeks there where new popups. now of a different style, but also very often.
the source of this new problem: https://www.xda-developers.com/micromax-remotely-installing-unwanted-apps-on-devices/
not only micromax uses "com.adups.fota", doogee uses it also...
so, the next step seems to be to root the device.
havent done it yet. does anyone already rootet a Doogee T6plus?
greetings
phillip burkert
Don't need to root. Use 'NoRoot Firewall' . This cures the 'malware bug' in all Doogee phones. I an using it successfully on Doogee T6 pro and F5.
Brian
its time for an update. i rooted my third T6Pro. after uninstalling com.adups.fota there were no more commercials anymore.
i uninstalled by using an terminal emulator and typed:
pm disable com.adups.fota
pm uninstall com.adups.fota
Anyone found a working Call Recorder yet? I've tried several and no joy (some do nothing - including the one from the Huawei 'App Gallery', others record the first second or so really quietly, and then just disappear)
Shame, I had finally found one for S9+ which worked flawlessly... but had to bin off the S9+ due to the enforced 'no dual sim and memory card' issue.
Another thing, can't seem to find how to change system fonts. Seen elsewhere that it has to be done through Themes or such... but can't find any options for font changing within any themes I've tried.
Use the Theme apps to change fonts.

If you need this (i do sometimes too), xiaomi is better. It has this option in OS.
Even Samsung removed this function from android 9
It's Android 9 that makes this so difficult, many developers trying to figure this out.
I use ACR Cube, and it works fine for me
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.catalinagroup.callrecorder&hl=en_GB
It works spot on for me on my M20 Pro, P20 Pro and S8

Hi, can you post which audio source you selected in the app (Voice Call, Voice Call (software), etc..), and other possible useful information about that app settings and related phone settings (ex. battery optimization of that app) that you are currently using?
Unfortunately I was unable to make it record phone calls whichever source I selected, files were created but completely silent...
Thanks.

Would be interested to at least check this out - as most places say its an Android 9 problem, but Google Play (and the link you provide) say not compatible with device. Did you get it from somewhere else?
Curious as you say it works on your M20 Pro.
I installed that app from the Google Play store using another smartphone, then copied the ipk to the Mate 20 Pro and then installed the app.
The app runs apparently fine, but in my tests recorded files were always completely blank, whichever setting combination used.

Hola
As others have asked, can you please share the configuration settings you have used for this app? Many of us are really interested in finding a solution.
Sent from my LYA-L0C using Tapatalk
ACR Cube Playstore says not compatible with this version.
Apologies for the late reply folks I have been flat out with work, I checked a call from yesterday and as others have said no audio

Hello,
Unfortunately, the problem is connected with your Android version. In Android 9, the possibility to record the caller's voice was blocked, and now it is a known issue for all users with this OS version. We are doing our best to find a workaround. So far as we know, no other call recording apps have a solution for this yet.
Some people have informed that in new security updates was progress in call recording. I suggest to follow updates on Google Issue Traker. It's issue 112602629. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
(I could not send outside links as new user, google it (-: )

I have the new Huawei mate 20 Pro, initially I couldn't get any of the call records working on my Android phone. It would record my voice and not the other persons I honestly have no idea what has now happened but it is actually working, what's even more strange it's working better than it ever work before on any of my previous handsets. Previously on my Google pixel Android phone I could only record the other person while the phone was on loudspeaker. At the moment I can record all outbound and inbound calls perfectly well it's been like this for about 2month.

I'm using, after a lot of searching, Boldbeast Recorder available on Google play. You imperatively must set the Record Mode to 14. Works perfect as long as you turn on the speaker when you send a call!
Hello, every one.
just picked up the Honor 20 Pro in Shanghai.
I work in Shanghai and needed a new phone.
So picked up the Honor 20 Pro.
Knowing that the Honor 20 itself has the Google Framework on it. So, being straightforward, I automatically thought that the 20 pro will have it also so that I can update the Google play and got everything back.
Believed that it is the first machine that Huawei / Honor has taken away the framework totally.
I downloaded GMS installer from internet and it is saying that it is not allowed ( not sure if there may be more different versions of it ).
Some other game me total 4 files:-
google account management apk
google framwork apk
google play apk
google play service apk
installed everything and then go back to the settings to add account, selected google and then screen stuck for -ever.
Any one has any solutions to install the google back on Honor 20 pro and work?
Thanks.

Fortnite Skin
Hello, if you don’t play Fortnite can you pm me the code for the wonder skin using the instructions below. Please!!! I’m a huge fan of the game and really want the skin.
Open up AppGallery. From there, click on the “Me” icon, and then on “Gift.” This should bring up a banner that has the Honor 20 Wonder outfit (a teal and purple colored girl) on it. Click the banner to copy its code.

In fact you should be able to install google play from huawei app store. No need GMS from elsewhere.
Successfully using google service as above for Honor V20 China version.

Incorrect! Even Honor 20 can use your way to have Google ready.
But Honor 20 Pro not!
Honor 20 Pro don't have any google framework preinstalled.
And even you manual install or use many of "Google Installer",
All not work.
You may check huawei's official forum,, more then 100+ post complain about this.
It's just wont work.
Ask huawei's customer service, they say "maybe Google Service will support later, but no promise"

I used HiCare and used "requested update" from HiCare, not from adjust-->update. After that the update appear in adjust-->update. When you download the update says you only can use the update in the next 60 days.

Hi all!
I would like to ask if there's a way to get LG Mirrordrive activated on a Huawei Mate Pro 20?
When I install this app I receive an error that it's not compatible with my phone. I searched on internet for any solutions but I found nothing.
The reason for this is that I want to screen mirror my smartphone with my VW Tiguan Discover Pro.
I'm curious if someone activated the mirrorlink on a non supported Huawei smartphone.
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Hikmet
Hi, everybody!
I am wondering if it is possible to somehow install the Google Mobile Services on the Mate 40 Pro Plus. I am pretty sure I have read it somewhere but I just can't find it anymore.
As far as I remember I have read that running the Google apps is possible on said phone as it is a Chinese version (obviously not released anywhere else in the world). Is this true? Is it possible to run GMS on a Mate 40 Pro+ and if that's the case is there any tutorial on how to do it?
Thanks in advance!
