Are you even reading the installation notes in the US998 KDZ Pie thread?
Instead you open up a new thread?
If you have read the workaround instructions and you don't like them, opening a new thread won't help.
sry I don't read your post till the end

The 1st time i root my device v300s korean variant i was able to flash los and aosp rom by kdz to us998 all of aosp and los base rom boot without any problem until i flash back to stock yesterday i mean kdz back to v300s with stock recovery to check something after that i re root back to us998 and flash twrp with same step like i do 1st time and guess what all los and aosp base rom did not pass boot animation.
And today whole day i was flashing kdz back and forth and try to remember what i did 1st time root but no luck still wont boot.
But when i flash kdz to h930 it boot fine i mean all the aosp and los base rom but when i kdz back to us998 still no luck i spend the entire day doing it still no luck.
The reason i must kdz to us998 is because korean variant only can get signal in us998.
I read alot of thread most people except h930 cant get pass boot animation. I really have no clue why no problem for me in the 1st place but now im clueless.
If anyone can help me greatly appreciated.
Greetings everyone,
I have a problem with my LG V30 (H930) camera.
I've unlocked the phone and I was trying different custom ROMs and I've never had troubles with it.
The problem started after I flashed (with TWRP) the new stock pie rom (LG V30 European open market H93030b_00_OPEN_EU_OP_0704).
Everything was working but it was too slow to I decided to switch back to a custom ROM.
I've tried both Liquid Remix and LineageOS (both were working before) but now the camera app is not starting anymore.
I tried to use several different GCam apks, Open Camera... nothing, same results.
I'm using the same apk and ROMs that I've successfully used in the previous days, so it's not the apks or the ROMs.
If it can help, LineageOS is not recognising my device anymore: if I go in the settings menu, about phone, it says Unknown.
I'm not an expert but this is the first time I ran into an issue like this and I don't know what to try anymore.
Thank you in advance for your help.

It could be slow because of RCT by LG.
Camera doesn't work anymore because you changed your firmware. Downgrading to Oreo kdz and then installing ROMs should solve your issue with camera

Thank you for your kind answer.
Do I need to downgrade again using the KDZ, so using the command console on my pc or can I just flash an old zip version with TWRP and then go back to the newer one?
I case I need to use the KDZ file do I also need to repeat the unlock procedure as well?
Thank you again for your time.

You've to flash KDZ. (which will erase internal storage)
Flashing kdz doesn't lock bootloader.
But you'll have to install twrp again

You should read the installation instructions in the KDZ thread, where the TWRP flashable zip is also posted.
There are tips and workarounds clearly posted.
I installed a custom room in my LG V30 and then I started to have problems with the camera and other things and now I want to reinstall the official ROM and it remains in firmware now waiting for a connection and when I use LG Bride and my cell phone turns off to update stop responding and stay in firmware update

You don't say WHICH V30 you have. That's important information you left off. If cross flashed to another variant, what was the last stock firmware you used before installing custom ROM?
You can either:
* restore the TWRP backup you made before flashing the LOS- based custom ROM.
You did make a backup, right?
or
* flash TWRP-flashable zip (ROM) made from stock firmware.
Made for V30 with TRWP custom recovery by our Devs; basically stock ROM but with DTS 3D and other stuff already enabled. We have them for several V30 variants -- which is why we need to know what you have.
or
* use Dev Patched LGUP to install LG stock KDZ for your V30 variant.
Your Bootloader will still be unlocked. You will then need to follow WTF Section 6 Instructions to re-install TWRP, reformat internal memory, root. Unless you have T-Mobile H932, which uses different method to install TWRP. Which is why we need to know what variant you have.
(Saying you have a "V30" is like saying you have a "Dell" computer. It tells us very little.)

LG Bridge isn't going to work for you on LOS-based custom ROMs. It's LG software looking for LG stock firmware to update.
solution
Thank you very much to those who have answered me, and tried most of the forms and just brick the cell phone, finally I read on a page that served to let much of the battery run out and try again and I did it and miracle It worked, I hope this helps another person with a similar problem.
I was trying to unlock the bootloader and root my lg v30 (h931) or at&t v30 using this method https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76584629&postcount=193
I used this method to try to get back to android 8 to root: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg...ssflashing-t3780969/post76510671#post76510671
I used this android nougat version: https://lg-firmwares.com/downloads-file/13784/US99810d_01_0411\
and used the duel patched dev version, I can't find a link I have like 8 million tabs open right now.
What happened:
I was following everything in that guide exactly and got the the point of flashing my phone with android nougat. Everything seemed to be working find and it said it was completed successfully, now my phone isn't detected by my computer at all and my phone will not power on. LG doesn't have a recovery or fastboot mode on the v30 but normall the shortcut to it is volume down and power button and when I do that the lg v30 splash screen comes up and keeps booting over and over. If I try to boot any other way its just completely black and comes up with a not connected screen for like a frame and then goes to black again. there is also a picture but I can't make it out in the one frame It is on screen.
I know I was an idiot for thinking I could root my phone and I am really really regretting it now but if anyone has any ideas I literally will try anything at this point. Thank you so much.
I just found the think on master reset and now I am on android 7.1.2 working. I guess I will try and continue? this has been an emotional rollercoaster

Just read the instructions carefully in web browser. Not an app.
Yes, Master Reset is clearly in the Frankenstein instructions.

yes sorry, actually im having a new issue that I can't find a solution for anywhere. I followed all the instructions for installing havoc on my lg v30 but it has been at a white spilling loading wheel for about an hour now. I know the first build can take a while but this seems a little extreme
edit, I just ran adb bootloader recovery and now im in TWRP. not sure why that didn't work last time but it worked!

Since you have a former AT&T H931 you did all the extra prep steps necessary to install LOS custom ROM for that model?
V30 CUSTOM ROMs FAQ
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79459374&postcount=2
See question number 3 of the custom ROM FAQ. H931 and H933 need a lot of extra steps to run custom ROM.
That FAQ is linked in the WTF Instructions thread.

the tutorial you linked doesn't have a link to a rom that I can see, really sorry
edit: I flashed it and my phone has the lg logo on it, im going to let it boot for a while, but im worried about ending up in the same place I as stuck in before.

I think I really messed up. so the rom in the the post didn't work either so I tried to do a master reset and now I am stuck at the splash screen with that lg logo staring back at me for all eternity. all I can do is enter the master reset menu now but it doesn't do anything. my computer won't see my phone as an adb device right now and I can't enter download mode. the lg tool detects my phone but I can't select it because it is an unknown device. am I just screwed?

Have you tried entering Download mode manually before opening LGUP?
1) Go into download mode (power off completely, then hold volume up button while plugging in USB cable)
2) open patched LGUP and KDZ via REFURBISH. At this point, you would flash US998 Oreo 20h KDZ instead of trying to flash US998 30b Pie. After you recover your phone to 20h Oreo, then you can take another run at US998 Pie if you wish.
3) IF your bootloader is unlocked, it will remain unlocked. However, you will lose TWRP, since you are flashing the full KDZ.
At that point, you will then go through Section 6 of the WTF instructions again to reintall TWRP and root.
