Any suggestions on which Rom would be the best choice to get a pure Android "Pixel type" experience?
TIA!!

I am planning to buy a Nexus 5 (my first android/smartphone) and root it. I have some question...
Which ROM is good if I want to avoid Google services? (don't need to sync contacts/calendar/call records)
AOSP is, I guess, the pure ROM which everybody later modifies to add features. I am looking for a ROM closest to AOSP (or even AOSP for Nexus 5) KitKat 4.4.4.
Also, I looked at Paranoid Android ROMs and the size of them is ~170MB. Is Android OS this small in size? Because I have heard iOS 7+ is 1GB+. Or is there something more to it, which is not Open Source?
Thank you kindly.
I would like to know which Custom Lollipop ROM replicates the original lollipop the most? I've used some of the different ones out there, and i see minor differences in the colour schemes, and theme settings etc.
Just one that is stable and gives the pure lollipop experience.
Thanks

I would say it Blisspop Rom because it give me a real lolipop experience n it also stable too
Other than MIUI of course .. (Snapdragon Variant)
Anyone know if there is a ROM not based in LOS? I still don't understand this quite completely but as far as i know some ROMS are based in AOSP some in CAF like ParanoidAndroid
(or at least thats what they say in their G+)
But recently i have seen that they are actually based in lineageos even if it says CAF based or AOSP.
Maybe i'm making a fool of myself by asking this lol but i just wanted to know ... overall my goal is to use vanilla stock android with no traces of lineageos/CM.
AOSP is the "vanilla stock" of android OS.
MIUI, EMUI, ZenUI, Samsung Grace UX etc are so-called as "custom overlays", meaning, each of their Software devs used AOSP from Google to just simply design, add functions, tweak or customize it as their own recognizable UI.
Thus also the same as LineageOs devs too.
As for custom roms, SlimRom for me is the most close to stock. Overall everything start in AOSP as basis.
Which rom is the best? Please Help Me...

MIUI gives awesome speed and is easy to access so I recommend to stick with stock MIUI
If you need customisations just flash MAGISK or XPOSED

Depends upon your usage. 100% of the custom roms available have the same ui, and most of them have the same features, so it depends upon you. And regarding battery life, you'll always get a minimum 6 hrs of sot with medium usage. But the main difference is regarding your choice. If you want super customisation go with resurrection remix, crDroid, or Firehound, or aospextended. Among these 4, Resurrection Remix is the king of customisation. If you want plain stock aosp with some light features, go with aoscp or lineage os.
But if you want PURE stock aosp with no extra features. Just bland vanilla aosp, then elixir os.
Other than roms, try out kernels and find out which suits you.
Hi guys, I recently found that Sony officially supports AOSP build on some devices.
https://developer.sony.com/develop/open-devices/#overview-content
However, I have some questions. Does AOSP mean "stock android"? I.e. what the Google Pixel devices are using?
As sony's own ROM does not differ much from the stock android, I really want to try it.
Has anyone succeeded the AOSP Android 13 on XQ-BC52?

AOSP means AOSP, Android in it's purest form, without google apps by default
Pixel Android is a form of stock android but stock just means official fw.
AOSP is even less feature packed, it's the bare bones android experience mainly for developers/OEM, but it's then derived into custom ROMS with other features on top of that AOSP
