Hi, I would like to ask about SuperDart 65W (10V, 6.5A) from Realme 7 Pro. It charges every of its two batteries at 5V and 6.5A (32.5W each) but I found information that it suppots Power Delivery and Quick Charge 18W as well. With PD and QC you can charge the battery at 9V , 12V, 15V etc. but not 10V. Does anyone know at what voltage the smartphone will be charged if you use PD or QC charger?
Is it safe to charge it with higher/less voltage? (e.g. 2x4.5V or 2x6V if 5V is needed for one battery)
And what about the standard 5V chargers and usb 3.1 (e.g laptop)? Is it possible to charge 7 Pro with it?
Generally, all fast charges will drop ther voltage when the connected phone doesn't support it.
With lower voltage you wont have any problems other than the speed of charging, which will obviously decrease
Standard 5V chargers will work just fine
Normal laptop usb will work just fine, in fact you will be lucky if the laptop supports any sort of fast charging at all
You are 100% safe to charge with pretty much any charger to my understandment
Stock charger is 5v 2a & 9v 2a
Confirmed working quick charge 2.
Confirmed not working pd.
Does anyone know the charge specs?
18 watts USB-PD works on mine
I was trying to use laptop pd chargers. They fast charge the Xiaomi Redmi note 8 pro fine, but not the nord n200 5g. Max I can get is 5v 2.1a.
Got my Pixel 6 recently and noticed the charging speed has been quite slow, over 2 hours for a full charge. I realize the Pixel 6 will only reach the claimed 30W charging speed with a modern charger that supports USB-C PD and PPS, so I bought an Anker PowerPort III Pod Lite (https://www.amazon.com/Charger-Anker-Compact-Adapter-PowerPort/dp/B08F28BH7C).
However, when I connect the Anker charger to my Kill-A-Watt meter, it never shows the charger as drawing more than 10 watts from the wall outlet when charging the Pixel 6. This is despite the Pixel displaying "charging rapidly" on the screen.
Has anyone else noticed this? If you have a watt meter, would be useful to see what the actual wattage draw is when charging the Pixel 6.

make sure you turn off all the adaptive settings as it will charge based on current status and will not always charge at full speed.
What charger?
So we have the official 30W charger for £25 at Google store, which I believe most people will be going for. The pixel 6 requires PD 3.0 with PPS for full 30W fast charging. Since chargers will no longer be available in future phones and to avoid...

Check that thread out. It's got a lot of information you'll find useful.
Hi everybody,
I have a question regarding using Realme 65w charger with Pad 5 Pro.
So Xiaomi 67w charger should recharge Pad 5 Pro on about an hour if I understood correctly, but when using 65w (10V, 6.5 A) charger from my Realme GT it takes more that 2 hours to recharge it and I find it weird because it's only 2w weaker.
Does Xiaomi have some special way of charging or I missed something when researching about Watts when charging? In my opinion it should take a little longer to charger iz with 65w and not twice as long.
Ultra fast charging employed by Chinese OEMs are mostly proprietary meaning they are limited to their devices only. When used to charge a device from a different brand they fall back to QC 2/3 or maybe USB-PD.

The only charger that managed to charge at real 65 w is a original 67w Xiaomi charger. Nothing else enabled the ultra fast charging. If you what I can post battery guru stats of the tablet charging with the Xiaomi original and a baseus 65w Gan charger.
Make sure your USB C is 6A to use with that 65W!
I don't yet have a 45 watt charger, so I connected the 25 watt charger from my S20. It says it will take 2 hrs to charge from 15% to Full.
My S20 would charge a lot faster than that. Is this normal?
I guess.
pixel 18W charger is 2h20.
iphone 5w is 5h15
LG 10w near 3h
I might get a faster one, I have the 20W oneplus one, but it wont work on the samsung... dash charging tech not compatible

Not sure if the S20 charger uses PPS charging protocol that S23U "requires" but 2 hours for 85% sound fine if it's not charging at 25 watts.

Thanks. My S20 with that charger would charge 85% a whole lot faster than 2 hrs.
45 watt charger should arrive tomorrow. Hopefully, it will go faster.

Yes, but as I mentioned, S23U requires PPS protocol to charge at the "advertised" speed. Just because the charger is 25W, it doesn't mean it will charge at 25W if it's missing the required protocol. Hence why I wrote I'm not sure if S20 supports the same PPS as S23U uses. In order to get 45W charging speed on S23U the charger needs to be PPS and the cable needs to be rated at least at 5 Amps.

That's what should be coming tomorrow from Amazon: Anker 313 charger and 543 cable.
Why Samsung doesn't include these with the S23 is a shame!

Well, some OEMs don't include a charger with their Flagships nowadays. Samsung isn't the only one.
That seems a little slow.
Make sure fast charging is on in settings. As you plug your charger in, it should say that it's Super Fast Charging
If it doesn't, try a different cable
If that doesn't work, go for a different charger
My phone keeps saying moisture detected, when there isn't, it's fked up, some chargers work, most dont
when you want to start charging your phone, make sure phone battery temperature is normal.
if you use continuously then charge it,charging speed is lower.
don't depend on status SFC or SFC 2.0.
you need watt meter cable or watt meter to know actually the real time charging speed.
if very hot, from 45 watt down to 15 watt charging (SFC 2.0)
if you want to charge from 10 to 100 in 1 hours use 45 watt charger, you need a cooler room temperature.
or you need a cooler at the back of the phone in 33 degree celcius room temperature.
if you wat to charge wireless 15 watt,it is the same.
battery temperature can make it slower charging.
status fast wireless charging is not the benchmark for charging speed.
SFC 2.0 is the same ,not the benchmark for charging speed.
you need a watt meter cable to know the real charging situation.
My S20 charger initially shows SFC as active when I plug it in but then it drops down to normal charging. Looks like I am not the only one with this issue so guess I will be buying a new brick.
Anyone got a good suggestion on which ones to get? In addition any good 12v car chargers that support it too?

The Anker 313 charger and the Anker 543 cable work for me.
I've had old HTC and Motorola phones from years gone by that took ages to charge. When I got the opportunity and the cash to buy my Samsung, I made sure I got a charger and cable that could super fast charge. From less than 10% to 85% capacity in just a few minutes. Wow.
