.
1. Oxygen OS over Android 10 is bloody smooth. But I also do not hate colour OS. And colour OS 7 is going to further streamline the experience.
2. Loudspeakers are slightly more bassy in X2 Pro. Practically can't pick a winner in this but gun to my head, I would pick extra Pro.
3. The side bezels are ever so slightly thicker in X2 Pro but after putting a tempered glass screen protector, they literally look alike.
4. The fps is quite quicker in X2 Pro. Even through tempered glass screen protector.
5. No heating in either one. I play no games though.
6. Cameras- I use gcam in both.
7. Battery- This was the only reason I sent 7t back. It was borderline bad. Only slightly better than my small Pixel 3 and that is no feat.
On X2 Pro, it's f**king awesome.
Hope it helps.
Good Luck

The speakers are loud and clear but deliver only medium quality sound.
The low frequencies are quite thin. The sound is good enough and full enough.
Compared to the the Moto G4 Plus (3-4 years older, 150 EUR cheaper at release) it's notably worse while comparably loud.
Basically the same holds true for the mic.

Somehow, the phone does not feel as solid as I'd like it to. Coming from the "plastic" Note 2 which I feel is sturdy and solid (dropped it many times and no issues), with the honor 8 Pro, I feel like I have to baby it, otherwise it might get scratches, especially the metal back.
Impeccably designed and built. Just one niggle, the volume button and power button wobble a bit.

It saddened me a bit that they ditched the glass back panel for a metal one.
The best build .
I will tell this is the best ,solid Designed.
glassy design was ditched but thats not a concern as we have a good design here and nothing to miss.
really a good build.no complain
One of the best built phones I have ever come across. It's sturdy as heck and the weight is just perfect for it to feel expensive in the hand. No hollow aluminum design here. Nothing at all to complain about.
premium material used in building this device
Really premium build.

It's only so-so. At times, I still struggle to listen when I use the speakerphone function.
Well, it's loud and clear although at full volume there's distortion.
Coming from a moto x play whose speaker provided dull sound and wasn't even loud. This has got a very clear and crisp sound that's loud enough. It's great.
All in all. It's satisfactory for me.

Not that great. I am migrating from the Vibe X3. The latter being a COMPLETE phone except with Lenovo refusing to send a VOLTE update. Rants aside, the speakerphone on the honor is not bad but neither is it great.
I hope honor can mimic the quality of the Axon 7.
Pretty loud.

Overall love

I'm in absolute love with this phone.
Over last year, almost, I've used Pixel 3, OP7t, iPhone 11 and now this...
And I can definitely say that I've felt most settled with 3a (closely followed by iPhone 11 but iOS is crap).
So much so that the only mobile that is gonna replace this for me is Pixel 4a/5a.
i've had my p3a for a couple months and i like it. it's an excellent reincarnation of a nexus. hopefully google continues to refine the concept.
I very much like my p3a. I heard how easy Google made the pixels to root. Followed the guides but updates proved problematic. Sadly root did not provide all the features I wanted, (i.e. the ability to remove system apps). Interestingly straight stock gives me everything I want. Apps can't be removed but can be disabled. It's still early days for development so I wait.
Just got the phone in today. 3a XL. First thing I noticed is how nice if feels in the hand compared to my OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren. More "boxier" and less tall. Nice. I love having a traditional fingerprint sensor again. Much faster and more accurate than the optical I've been using and ultra sonic on my Note 10 Plus.
This 3a XL is my way of making life more simple for me. I realized after using all these phones over just this past year that my daily phone needs/wants are not demanding whatsoever. This feels better. More sensible. I'm happy Google made this a series. I hope the 4a phones will be just as good.
One negative that's not a big deal is that I've noticed that I have to keep the brightness scale up closer to full brightness to have the same amount of brightness I'm used to on my other phones where I typically kept the brightness scale at the middle or lower.
Everything is great. I thought I'd be struggling with only less that 64GB of storage left compared to the 256GB I was used to before but that was another thing I realized. I don't use a lot of storage at all. So I have plenty with this phone. I guess I used to just be paranoid I'd never have enough storage. One of those things that I wanted to have and not need it vs the alternative. But my thoughts have evolved on this topic.
Headphone jack. Headphone jack. Oh, how I've missed the headphone jack. Plastic body, feels so much better. Glass where it counts. Plastic for durability. Perfect. Oh, and FLAT display again! So much better. Samsung seems to finally realize that curved displays are not so great. New S20 series have calmed down with that curve.
So far so good with this phone. I appreciate its humility.

I think they're quite amazing. I'm coming from a Pixel 2 XL and these are significantly louder and more clear. There is also WAY less distortion and rattle at full volume. Bass is punchy for its size, and the rest of the frequency range sounds pretty balanced. Also note that I'm coming from the Pixel 2 XL, to the smaller pixel 4 and it's performing way better. Even though both speakers aren't front facing anymore it still sounds better.
Here to confirm it is stereo earpiece and bottom firing speakers together. Reviews did not mention if the earpiece acted as a speaker, and I was worried it would be stereo bottom firing only, a-la pixel 1. Fortunately that is not the case!

In my case what noticed is that I can hear voices much more clearly vs Pixel 2
So maybe they tuned them to sound better on the High frequency.
Let's face it... nobody should use a phone as a speaker regularly.
Now to watch series or YouTube video is really important the audio. And I'm enjoying much more the YouTube videos now because I can hear them without raising a lot the volume

Coming from a 7 Pro the earpiece speaker is considerably louder. I think the "Dolby" tuning by Oneplus might give a little better spatial separation but I am very pleased with the audio quality of my P4.
Came from an LG G7, which was touted for its speaker's loudness and fidelity. I can say, without a doubt, that this sounds much better. It sounds warmer, fuller, and can get louder without distorting or sounding overly sharp. Pleasantly surprised, to be quite honest.
First time I've heard the Pixel 4 speakers was impressed how good they sound: full, bassy, quality.

I agree fully with this. I too came from a Pixel 2 XL and while I was initially bracing for a downgrade in speaker performance, due to lack of dual front firing speakers and speaker size, I was completely blown away by the audio performance of the Pixel 4. It is an improvement in every way possible from my 2 XL. Where it shines the most for me is clarity at high volumes. My 2 XL would break up pretty badly at above 70% volume and sound pretty trashy but my Pixel 4 can keep it's sound integrity pretty held together even up at volumes in excess of 90%. All in all, I love this phone.

Not as good. Slightly soft
Great. Way better than Note 9.
Havent even used DA and its loud, clear and rumbles
Thi is probably the best sounding phone I've ever seen or heard. I was wondering why the speaker grill is at the bottom but I hear and feel the sound at the top, this vid explains alot. Notice where the ear peice is if you get a chance to watch. I've only had this phone since friday and I I love it already!

Actually I think it has more to do with the fact that the earphone speaker is literally under the glass. So you hear it whether your holding your ear to the back or the front of the phone. That and having a little resonance chamber improves the bass.

For dual speakers it's absurdly quiet, even ringtones and media playback is just pathetic
I think they are great. They replace easily tiny bluetooth speakers when you want some light music playing on the go, of course not very loud, but balance is good for such a small thing.
They are especially good for watching movies (netflix etc) on the go, in hotel or whatever. Quite happy with it.
Any sound MODs for N10+ yet? These can noticeably enhance the speaker/ ear-piece volume if done correctly.
Need the mixer_gain/_path.xml experts to figure it out & guide us.
coming from an LG G6 (pretty quiet), Xperia Z3c (very quiet), the Note 10+ is like going to an AC/DC arena concert after seeing a folk singer in a coffee shop

I come from a note 8, thr speakers in this note10+ sounds way louder, enough for me, when I want more volume, I use any of the several bluetooth speakers I have, I have one that I carry around in my key ring, its a lithe cube 2 inches per side, it blasts 2x the volume relative to the phone, for louder sound I use a skullkandy speaker, very rugged, very loud for its size, btw I use it since my note4 !
Incredible loud rich crisp sound. The best I have ever heard in a smartphone.
