Samsung Galaxy S9+ Free Odin Files Download - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Questions & Answers

Hello All,
Is there a website to get the latest firmware with fast downloads without having to pay for premium service? Sammobile is downright annoying, and I believe any Android firmware should be open-source and free to download and flash. My Galaxy is stuck on Android 8 since I don't have a WiFi network to update it with.

I am so excited and cannot wait. ?
Nevertheless I am quite upset about this.
Comparing the Manuals (a5, j5, s6) I found out that the Galaxy A5 won't get a theme store! ? (Which is probably all I really wanted. I've been waiting for this for so long.)
And again Samsung disappointed me.
I hope that this is just a small mistake in the manual but I guess they just again want us to buy a newer phone. ? I hate this policy. Our phone is only a year old but they kind of treat it like it's already dead. (You can't find it on the Samsung website anymore.)
Well okay let's hope for the best. ? (still excited)
Yup, i wait for theme store with MM update, but a few weeks ago when manual updated and heard that will be NO theme store in MM for A500 i give it up and already switch to A5 2016...honestly i like TW but in midrange phones is boring...so update a litle the phone...a litle shame to Sammy but A500 is not so cheap and deserve more...

it has been said like 100 times, Samsung wont update the older generation with the new features. Note 3 and Note 4 lack a theme store too...
It is a different branch of TouchWiz, and we will not get it. As long as we get Marshamallow, the other stuff will be easy to port.
That's true, the changes are minimal, as discussed in the Facebook group they have just changed the icons and permission management. No Doze Mode (although Samsung supplies him with their Modes of saving energy), there is not Themes Store and others features, but as the fellow PlutoDelic said, having updated your Galaxy A5 with Android Marshmallow is easier to port several features of S6 and S7 . Do not forget that it is also important is the security patch updated to July -and august- this year. Greetings.
Any idea on whether the released firmware would work on the A500H variant?
you can try the FU version but i dont recomand it can brick you phone
Never try another version, you will 100% brick your phone, i have that experience one year ago....

G'day thanks for your reply--
ok-Ihave been researching your suggestions-- and the answer is not easy--it is actually complicated because of all the different firmware codes just in the US.,
I can hopefully track it down using my new phone CSC code(I'm learning fast for a newbie)
The reason why I need at least Android 10 is because I will be loading the 'Gcam7.4 and maybe higher.
If I can find out which US version of firmware to flash(and how to do it properly), I still need answers to the following--
---Because this is a US version S10 SM-G973U1 -fully unlocked and no Carrier--
(1) Do I insert my Australian SIM card into my brand new phone BEFORE it is turned on for the first time and BEFORE I flash the new US firmware?
(2) Or do I turn on my new phone for the first time, and flash the update US firmware BEFORE inserting my Australian SIM?
-regards-

1. I don't have a snapdragon version phone.

OK--thanks again.
Thanks for the model number.
The US phone will work in AU -A lot are sold over here through ebay and other outlets- there should be no problems here.
The seller sent me a message to my questions-''it does not matter when the update is done--before or after the SIM card has been put in'', so,should be no problems here - and you also say it's ok to leave the SIM card in while flashing.
I can't give you a screenshot as I am still waiting for the phone to arrive.
I've been reading the Frija page-looks easy enough for me to do.
Frija will give me the correct and latest firmware(on PC) and then I use Odin to install the firmware into the phone, correct?

Updating phone can be done with or without sim card.
Just make sure with frija to enter correct model number.
Download firmware, extract firmware ( I use 7zip ) put In Odin.
May still need that screen shot when you get the phone as may have to use patched Odin.

Sorry for the l-o-n-g delay in getting back to you.
I did receive my S10 -red color, as soon as I opened the shipping box,I knew I had been sent a FAKE.
I didn't have to open the retail package as I knew what to look for(thanks to youtubes about fake Samsungs).
The front and back of the retail box were identical to the fake one in the video.
But the seller also made a big mistake--they sent the wrong model(thanks to someone putting the wrong label on the shipping box at their warehouse) - they sent S10e instead of S10.
Anyway,it was easy getting my money back due to their ebay store return policy.
They know I know it's a fake and they are worried about the feedback I have yet to leave for them.
At this point, I am considering a refurbished S10 ''as new'' from a REPUTABLE online AU seller.
Or a new S20 FE Snapdragon, Australian version (plenty of retail stores have it over here).
What ever I get--I'll make sure it isn't a fake and at least, you've helped me to learn a few things, like going to Samobile to check the right numbers, and,if necessary, use Frija and Odin to update the firmware..
Have a look at these photos, tell me what you think.
I don't use an 10 series maybe never will
All I can suggest, since i'm using my device different to yours.
Check IMEI status ( check online ).
For on lines stores or furbished devices IMEI devices this can be changed. Not generally on US devices
Only a word of caution.

You can flash direct.
To keep data flash home-csc not the csc_ one.
I would still backup before doing it, you never know what will happen.
If you're super worried try one version at a time, but you end up downloading a lot and waiting a lot.
Also with locked bootloader, to know in advance, the number in the last 4 or 5 letters is the bootloader version.
( G991USQU5EWAI for example)
In my case "u5" means i can only flash 5 or above.
If you see a new one with 6, as soon as you flash that, you can't flash 5 or 4 anymore.
I stick with May 2022 update cvdb because it lets me charge bands if I'm in an area with bad signal and I can disable 5g to save battery.
