Hello i am not getting Ota updates on my Mate 20 pro single sim
Last update was 9.1.0.320
I know i can update via hi suite but i want to register for Android 10 beta too
On C432, Beta program is available to registration from C432B338, not B320.
But maybe it is also restricted to LYA-L29 dualsim...
Are you with any carrier update on top of your actual LYA-L09 C432B320 build ? -Screen'ROLL'shot these to check :
-'About phone' screen with imei edited out.
-'System Update' screen
-Dial *#*#2846579#*#* , then 'Project Menu / 2.Veneer info / 1.Version info' screen
Actually i am on C432E10R1P16
I always had to upgrade via hi suite i dont know why i am not getting via ota ?

Hi.
There are so many version available for BLA-L29 (Mate 10 Pro) when I read forum such as C185, C432, C635, C636 and many more.
1. What are their differences?
2. There are many Huawei OTA update available at http://pro-teammt.ru or https://funkyhuawei.club/ , why I still not yet receiving any from Huawei? **Still stuck on 119**
I am totally new to Huawei, coming from iPhone > Oneplus

Those numbers are use tu identify devices from different regions (Europe, Asia, etc) and different brands (Vodafone, Tim, Orange, etc).
These brand could received OTA updates at different times and with different build numbers.
I got, to days ago, the B161 (Android 9 + Emui 9) stable version on my Mate 10 Pro BLA-L29 (nordic european).
I'm using two sim, the first one is an italian sim from a virtual operator, the second one is a Vodafone (business) sim.
After a while, i have received a new specific update for the operator I use in the second slot (Vodafone). The update installed itself!
Now, I have the BLA-L29 9.0.0.161 (C432E4R1P11) Emui 9 with a custom version named VDF.IT 9.0.0.6 (LT.F01).
I have never seen an operator custom version installed on a no brand version.
How can I remove this custom version without doing a factory reset?
Thanks to all want help me

I'm sure a factory reset won't sort it, AFAIK you are stuck with it, unless you are bootloader unlocked, it fancy the FH route.
NolanBart, any succes with debranding?

Did you find solution?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p20-pro/help/how-to-carrier-custom-version-update-t3929370
I want to refuse offer to install Custom Version on P20 Pro.
Problem on Huawei P30 Pro [carrier custom patch]
How can we remove such custom patches (carrier custom patches) without rooting?
(I got an update while I was traveling in Singapore. But now I don't need that. EMUI 10 update also contains update for carrier custom patch... I need to remove it before upgrading to EMUI 10)
Can you downgrade (roll back) in hisuite?
Tried my luck on a factory reset and it did remove the carrier config for Starhub SG which automatically installed when I inserted a Starhub SIM. Now I can join beta programs again ?
What carrier config? I use Starhub SIM as well but nothing was installed except APN.
Hi, I have a Mediapad M5 10.8(CMR-W09) And I'm unable to update it. I'm still on Android 8.0.0 and Emui 8.0.0 also, when I look for an update from the settings It say there isn't one and HiCare doesnt help either. I dont know if i can upgrade It from a external file or am missing something ( I am from Venezuela so I dont know if there is some kind of regional restriccions I am not aware of). In any case thanks for the help

the same, It say " you are using the last oficial upgrade CMR 8.0.0.198 (C567) "
A lot of us with that model are waiting for the Pie update which may never come due to the conflict between the U.S. and Huawei.

Hi,
I just purchased a brand new Honor 20 pro model YAL-L41 in France.
I searched for updates and it did update to the December 2019 Android 9.1.
I searched for updates again, and now it says that my system is up to date.
I don't get this. My daughter, also located in France, has had the same phone for over six months and received the ota update to magic 3 / Android 10 two or three months ago.
How come I don't get this update now with a new device?
How can I update my Honor 20 pro to Magic 3 / Android 10?

I know it doesn't answer your question, but my device just updated to 3.0.0 on May 21th.
I'm disappointed, as the update removed the zoom lens on low light or night time. Watch out. I wish I didn't update.
There is a way.

Hi!
I was stuck on the same problem, but found a way around it on some site (don't remember which). So the global one is apparently only up to 9.1. The Chinese one, however, is receiving updates. So although you might not get updates automatically, you can still manually update using this app. ("This app" was supposed to point to a link to an app, but apparently I'm a "new user" so I can't post links yet. It's called "Firmware Finder for Huawei" and its on the Play Store. ). It does not require root or anything, just follow the in-app instructions. I find that the router method is easier and doesn't pose any problems. It just requires access to the router's settings. This app is linked directly to Huawei and Honor's official repository. When I used it, I did not experience any data loss, but as usual back up your stuff. Just be sure to read all the instructions.
Good luck!
Hi,
I bought 1 year ago the Media Pad M5 Pro unbranded from eBay.
I never received any update till now Still on Android 8.0.0 ( Build Nr CMR-AL19 8.0.0.199 (C431)
Huawei Support told me multiple times there is no update available for my device.
But I think they are wrong.
I think it just got the wrong Cust (C431 is made for "providers" but mine has no brand but this firmware)
C432 receives all the updates from Huawei.
So my question is how I can change my Cust from C431 to C432 or directly flash a C432 firmware?
I hope someone can help me in easy steps I think I am not the only one on the whole internet with this problem but in non-forum a solution.
Thanks

changing to c432 (which is the m5 wifi version, with Kirin 960s not Kirin 960) is quit risky - bootloop
but u could go for the testpoint method and flash treble gsi android 10, need to open bootloader
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mediapad-m5/how-to/downgrade-unbrick-huawei-device-methods-t3915693
its a bit easier with HCU client and dc phoenix( u need the dc unlocker anyway -to unlock bootloader - unfortunatly no other way) but HCU is 20 bucks time license for 3 days
if you really want the the super easy way there is a guy doing it for 30 bucks but u need to give him access to your windows pc(i wouldnt do that) https://ministryofsolutions.com/paid-services
if u find an easier way pls tell me, i gave an cmr-w09 (m5 wifi) and its running super smooth on havoc os(custom android 10)
