Hello, i have a zenphone pegasus 4s (Max pro m1), my problem is : the smartphone was meant to be sold in china and not europe, so they changed the rom to an european one (CN rom to WW), i can't update the smartphone since it won't even search for an update, i tried putting the rom at the root of the internal storage, but i didn't get a pop up to force the update, i want to know if it possible to install a custom rom (the phone is stuck on nougat 7.0) ? have a nice day.

Dude you don't have max pro m1, the m1 was launched with android 8.1 out of the box you have another device contact nearest service centre.
I did contact asus, and it's what they told me, i gave them phone series number and build number
Yours is a Max Plus (M1) not Max Pro M1. You're in the wrong place buddy,

I just ordered the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Prime Pro Edition (32GB ROM, 3GB RAM, Snapdragon, TF Support)
- Whats the actual running Android on this device? (Right now) - updateable trough the Device itself.
- There will be an Update to Android 6 Marshmallow if i understand correctly, right?
- Already rootoptions available?

No, beta rom for redmi note 3 sd is not pre-rooted

i just receveid my redmi 3 pro (eu version with preinstalled play store) from amazon
i have 3 questions:
- is it normal that it's prerooted? i see supersu it's installed by default
- does this preroot have influence over OTAs ? i've never received any os update yet
- when will be available android 6 for redmi 3 pro?
Even I need to know when MM is coming to redmi note 3. Also when is the official release of MIUI 8.
Coming to your question, Yes it 's pretty normal for vendors to install EU rom and have the phone rooted in regions where the phone is not officially available.

I would say that pre rooting a device before it is even shipped is far from 'normal'.

As per my knowledge, the Xiaomi phones are not officially sold in all regions. And usually vendors who import the phones from China install custom roms on the phone. This is purely on my reading of various articles on the web.
Hello Everyone.
I just purchased a "Taiwan" Redmi Note 3 Pro (Hexa Snapdragon 3GB Ram 32GB Rom model).
The new Taiwan released version supports Band28, 700mhz which we here in Australia also use.
First thing I'll be doing, will be unlocking and installing CM for this device.
It only just occurred to me; will I need a different baseband\modem zip?
Will the official CM nightly work fine?
Will there be something I can do to help the community if we need some certain file or zip for this B28 frequency?

Hi I've got the Huawei mate 10 pro as a gift last month and I'm not liking the phone so much as it's slow and crashes a lot compared to my oneplus 5 and pixel xl
so I like my andriod close to pure stock without any software add on's like MUI or Touchwiz if you know what i means ? and I'm stuck with this phone and can't just not use it as it a gift from a very close person ......
is there any why to root and install stock Oreo or even Nougat ???

You can install the TREBLE AOSP system.img but the brightness adjustment doesn't work.
Also before install it be ready for how to become again stock, else you will end to pay 50 euros to FunkyHuawei for the unbrick tool.

they scamed me. i paid $250 on Ail Express for the phone.
Since The LeEco phones are scam. and there is no custom rom.
for it. i have been searching all over for a custom rom. to replace the EUI because of bug. but could not find.

The problem is, Max 3 is "unofficial" device, they were never officialy sold, they are propably just prototypes or testing devices, that is why are they buggy af, this all means, there are no official kernel or any other sources what means no custom roms, sorry.

Hi , there will not be any custom ROM for X850 , since we don't have the source code , this source code need to be released by LeEco , but since the company is bankrupt , they didn't do that , and leaved the owners of the Le Max 3 with only two options , the 6.0.1 and 7.1.1.
We have invested more that 3000$ in the development , but we don't have many progress .
The only work around is to unlock your bootloader , flash TWRP , after that you can flash my stable ROM : EUI 5.9.021sR2 by diamantik ( me) , this will bring more stability to the table , and will allow you to use your phone more better .
