Ever since I installed AmazMod and Amazfit Notify, I no longer have the option to answer phone calls from the watch. I get a brief notification/vibration when I get a call, but the answer screen disappears before I can press it and it stops vibrating. I went through all the settings in the three apps but none make a difference. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can re-enable this?

Hi! I have the same issue as you... here is my THREAD, have you found any solution? I´ve tried every thing and nothing changes.... just works in version 3.2.2.0 for me.
SOLUTION: Do not use AmazMod, Amazfit Notify. These apps are 3rd parties productions. To use Amazfit app from Apple/Google store and update it into newest version, also to use Stock Verge ROM, to update it into newest version. If you using 3rd parties production do not expect to have problem with that. Huami/Amazfit created own app and ROM which is supported with watch.
I getting all notifications, there is some issues, but notifications or to answer into call I can. Everything is original without any 3rd parties apps/ROM

I'm glad I'm not the only one, and no, I haven't found a solution yet. I was going to try to factory reset and try again...

Not being able to respond to texts is a deal-breaker for me, unfortunately. I only bought this watch because I knew AmazMod would fix this oversight. But I also bought it because of its speaker/mic capabilities... So, I guess I'm screwed unless one of those two 3rd party apps can find a solution for us...

I shared solution which my opinion is the best what you can do now, but it's yours decision to accept it or not. I all the time trying to do everything what manufacturer saying, to follow the recommendations, to use 3rd parties apps or ROM is not the smarter thing I think, but all people have right to do how they want. AmazMod is not Huami/Amazfit app, this is developers from here app (if i'm not wrong), so it not 100% trust, I believe and is not enough supported, good and ect. But as I mentioned this is my opinion only. Keep in mind with Stock ROM and original Amazfit app for me everything working fine, there is some problems, but they are not mentioned from you and all notification I already getting. So good luck and I hope you will find the best solution which you think is better for you :fingers-crossed: :highfive:
FYI, a factory reset did not solve the problem. I'm concluding the issue is not related to any 3rd party apps.
Had the same issue, all you have to do is disable the incoming call notification on the N&F app and allow the stock amazfit or mi fit app to manage the phone call notification

Yeah, I tried that. I still can't answer a phone call even after factory resetting the watch.

Been lurking this forum for years... but...
I bought a G-Watch on Friday night, and have been using it ever since... my problem is that when I send a text message via the watch, there is no record of it in the messaging app - whether stock or 3rd party.
However, in the stock app, an empty text message will pop up, only to say "no content." Whats even more strange, is that the message is STILL SENT!! Even though there is no record of it on the phone. Receiving messages works fine, its just sending that is the problem. I've looked at every setting I can think of... no luck.
Help!

That's definitely a bug. Seems to be more an issue on the phone than on the watch. No idea how you would fix this though. Don't wanna say reset, but it's the only thing I can think of. Try to reset just the watch first, then you won't have to setup everything on your phone again.

That's kinda what I figured. I factory reset both of them last night with no luck. I guess I just have to wait for an update - kinda sucks wondering if the fix will be included in the next update, or if LG even knows its an issue. I've looked for hours and haven't seen anything related.
Thanks.
Have you considered moving out to hangouts to use alongside the watch? Ever since I got mines I just made hangouts the primary app and I haven't had any issues.
No matter what, I can never stay away from android for long.

I did, with the same result.
However, I just stopped by Verizon a couple minutes ago, and he asked me if I had tried Verizon's app called "Verizon messaging" and I of course said no. He put it on the phone and it actually worked. But with that app, the watch doesn't vibrate during the notification of an incoming text.
So I guess I have to pick which is more important... a record of sent texts, or a legit notification that I received a text message. I'm leaning towards option 2.
That's interesting. I'm not sure why it's not working on either app. And I'd definitely go for option 2 as well. another dumb question have you reset your phone and the watch?

Yep. I've reset both, with the same result. I don't have much confidence that this will ever be fixed - but we'll see.
If so, noticed any differences or problems?
Installed it this morning, so far running normally.

On the stock messaging app, I keep getting
"Turn on Read Confirmation"
Allow Contacts to see when you've read their messages.
Cancel Turn On
Pretty annoying with every single thread of message. I dont want to turn it on because sometimes I'd like to ignore some people that text me. I've done everything from clearing cache and data.
Got it on the 7th, everything is running fine.
Thanks. I use a 3rd party text app, so if that's the only issue I guess I can live with it.
Can you mention in which countries you get it?
No update in Romania so far.

Hi there,
I don't seem to be able to use the phone function on my Verge. I have the latest software update but I didn't find any way of making the watch get notification from the calls coming into my S10E. is this a Samsung issue?
Thanks to anyone who will respond.

Be sure you have latest update of:
Watch app (3.2.0-Play) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.huami.watch.hmwatchmanager&hl=en
Watch Verge (ROM) (3.2.5.0)
Then go to Amazfit watch app:
1. Open app
2. Profile
3. Amazfit Verge
4. Scroll to down
5. Notifications settings
6. Must be market/checked these: a) Push notification (must be red dot) b) in Push notifications must be added app which in yours phone is responsible of incoming calls. Also keep in my must be all permissions enabled, after update sometime need to enable it again. If still will not helps, do factory reset of watch Verge, with re-install app Amazfit in yours phones (I doing like this often, helping me), but without restore of data in Amazfit app. It's important !!!
IMPORTANT: After factory reset in watch you will lose that day activities information. But don't worry it must be show in Amazfit watch app anyway, you just couldn't to see it in that day when you will do factory reset in watch, past days must be showed. For me working everything like this
Thanks for the reply but it doesn't work

Sad Did you tried to connect/pair with other smartphone? Factory reset of watch Verge for me most time working, re-install of Amazfit watch app asking all the time to give permissions from new, so you ca be sure that you will gives it 100% right, but if you after all these steps still have this problem, you just can try to connect/pair with others smartphone, even with the same account, if working on others smartphone, that's mean with your S10 something wrong, if no and problem persist maybe you using AmazMode app or something like this? Then developers will help you better
My smartphone is not rooted, in watch is official ROM and I using it without any 3rd parties apps software and ect.
yes, with Pocophone it works very well. THe issue with Samsung is double sim. If I turn off one of the two sims the calls arrive to the Verge about once in every 10 tries. The other 9 the Verge vibrates a bit then stops and the call is not shown. I only get the notification of missed call. If I turn on both sim cards the Verge doesn't receive the call. Is there a way to inform AMAZFIT developers of this?
Are you using the stock Samsung ROM? Did you try installing a third party app for calls, like Contacts+?
You can send feedback from the app's help section (probably it will arrive in the Chinese support) or use this link if you have an International model:

I mean this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.edotassi.amazmod&hl=en_US. I think it not just for call If you using everything stock then strange and I advise you to talk with Amazfit Support in https://en.amazfit.com/support.html (Global, via mail) or https://support.amazfit.com/hc/en-us/categories/360001563933-Verge-Smartwatch. But I don't know why, but I have feelings that you doing something wrong, it can be that you did not gave permission for call notifications. As I mentioned try to factory reset (sometime it helping after several times), app to delete and re-install after reboot of smartphone, I don't have smartphone with PIE, but in these steps I don't think is something big differences as is in Marshmallow Good luck :highfive:
I feel like I've tried everything and cannot get notifications for Gmail to work. Mostly every other app seems to work fine. Gmail also will work perfectly normally with the Notify app but that app creates issues of its own (watch still vibrates in do not disturb among others).
Anyone have a similar experience?
Thanks!
I have the same problem since the new Zepp app update on my GTS 2. I used the notify app but that drains my battery like crazy. Hopefully they'll update it soon with a fix. Just let them know like I did on their website.

Hello all,
I'm having a strange problem with my S23 Ultra. I can receive notifications from Telegram, Messages and WhatsApp but not from my banking apps.
To diagnose the problem, I checked that notifications are enabled for the apps, no deep sleep, lock screen notifications not showing content for the apps, I enabled notification history and attempted to transfer money from one bank to another. I received no notification. Checked the notifications history and there was nothing for the app. However, luckily within the app it allows you to see sent notifications and it it's recorded that it's sent a notification of the transfer.
What else can I do to diagnose. This is only impacting some apps (mainly banking ones from what I can see) although it is difficult to tell for sure if you don't actually know whether the app sent a notification or not.
Have you tried to set the app's battery settings to unrestricted?

Hey! Did you actually find a fix for this? I'm currently experiencing the same exact thing on my nothing phone after I updated it to android 13

Did these apps send you notifications previously on prior devices?
Not OP, but at least on my device, prior to updating it to android 13 all apps would give me notications with no issue
Did you set the phone up from scratch or restore from a backup? If the latter, that's probably your problem. I would factory reset the phone and take a few hours to set everything up from scratch.
None , just OTA updated it.
I guess that is closer to backup though. I might factory reset it tomorrow when I have a bit of time then. Just a bit annoying, especially from an OTA update
