Fastboot mode won't stay - Realme XT Questions & Answers

I am trying to install stock firmware through fastboot. After typing below command,
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
the Device reboots but Fastboot mode only shows for 1 second then the Device reboots to system.
I have Usb debugging ON, OEM unlocking ON
Tried on 2 different PC's. Also tried removing Usb after command.
Reason for stock flashing is just that I used this ADB command on my phone and It lost IMEI: By this method and here is the detailed problem.
UPDATE: Took the phone to service center, they changed the Mainboard. But then Fingerprint was not working (couldn't enroll). They took it again and tried stock flash and fingerprint sensor change but the issue persists, still diagnosing.

My phone has lost Network service and IMEI is null. I did not root. I did this: Method
Does that mean I need to unlock bootloader to flash the stock ROM? Is there any other method? I don't want to lose warranty.
The phone does boot to EDL mode.

Can I achieve this without voiding my phones warranty?
I finally took the device to service center. And the executive said he would send the case to Realme and he is not certain that it would be covered under warranty as the imei is broken. But my device's bootloader is untouched and I never tried rooting.

[Q] Wt19i - Question regarding access to fastboot & unlock bootloader

For the sake of this question I have a locked bootloader on a wt19i. The phone is rooted. (It's my friend's phone but I'm voicing a theory). It can't enter fastboot mode and the bootloader unlock status is: not allowed.
Armed with the IMEI number,
If I did a TA backup via Octopus Suite 1.0.3,
Then, (following methods seen in this thread: http://goo.gl/QNKxS Third post down.) to force the phone into fastboot, start a firmware (re)install in PC Companion. During that process the phone will enter fastboot mode. If I stop the process there [in Windows Task Manger], then the phone will get stuck booting only into fastboot mode (until I finish putting firmware .tft back on it).
THEN I use SE Bootloader Unlocking v1.6 {Found here: http://goo.gl/JxDmY }. I give it my IMEI, it gets an unlock code and I connect the phone - in fastboot - and select "Unlock BL" to unlock the bootloader.
Then restore TA, followed by a restore of firmware.
Would this unlock the bootloader or brick the phone?
Corrections and answers welcome.

I checked the thread you were referring to,
the process they are doing there is to access flash mode...
fastboot is completely different, can only be accessed if bootloader is unlocked.
based also on the bootloader unlock status: not allowed, this means phone is network locked, unlocking of bootloader would not work thru available methods in xda.
you would to pay in order to remove the network lock and then unlock bootloader

This would not unlock the bootloader,
Brick the phone, not sure, but it would probably wont, good thing you have a backup.
You can always do a flashing of stock firmware thru flashtool or wotanserver.

The problem is you tried to use that tool and the moment you have typed your IMEI and pressed get unlock code, you lost your warranty. So you have no warranty anymore!!
Now you will have to desimlock and after that you can just hope fasboot is enabled.
Install flashtool, open the installation folder > drivers and install all drivers for all devices. Install the android sdk (please better look in my signature to see how to set up android sdk and flashtool and replace the usb drivers). Then try to enter fastboot mode like explained in the threads

[Q] XZU Bootlooping NO Recovery LOCKED Bootloader

Hey guys,
I just experimented with some sound libraries and so on...
now my device is bricked.
I don't get into recovery (pink led, not turning on), flashtool does not allow me to reflash the stock-rom, and fastboot-flashing also doesn't work, because my bootloader is locked.
Is there any possibility to unlock the bootloader from outside, without having the stock-rom running?
Or any other possibility to get this thing working again?
Would be really happy, if someone has an idea
Thanks

Flashtool (EMMA) says, my bootloader is locked -> I have to unlock it but thats not possible without a running system. for flashtool I just pressed vol down and put the cable in like it is described everywhere.
for fastboot I did the same, but vol up. Then the LED turns blue, but I can't even reboot it via fastboot command.
USB-Debugging is also deactivated, so I don't know how to access the phone.
EDIT: just tried again: reboot over fastboot works, but erasing or formatting is not allowed. Flashing not possible because there is not enough space it says
EDIT II: ok, just got the bootloader unlocked via fastboot. now trying to get the stock system on to enable usb debugging and flash custom rom then
EDIT III: just solved it. how? 1. Unlock bootloader via fastboot 2. let EMMA do a service 3. enjoy again

I already found the solution, but it will erase your data.
with the adb commands you must restart the device in boorloader mode:
adb reboot bootloader
Then when I take you to the bootloader screen what you have to write next:
fastboot oem lock
(Remember the phone will be erased)
then to restart the device you have to:
fastboot reboot
And the device will reboot.
what you do is lock it, so that you can then unlock it in a simple way.
(If you do not know what the ADB is, warn man), I hope it helps you and those who enter here too :good:
@l3dson: Be careful before relocking the bootloader: The phone MUST be 100% stock or you will have a brick.
@Mohammedbi: Your bootloader is still unlocked, even after flashing the KDZ. It's just the newly flashed ROM doesn't know it, and you don't need it to.
Just go to fastboot (PowerOff, Vol- while plugging in cable) and flash TWRP. Follow ChazzMatt's root guide for the initial TWRP steps.
Have anyone found the solution for this problem...

What exactly is not working?
ADB doesn't require Enable OEM Unlock to be set. Just plug it in and ADB away - unless drivers or cable or port aren't working.
And your bootloader is still unlocked if it was unlocked before you flashed stock Oreo. You should be able to enter fastboot using the steps described in the post just before yours.
Edit: Of course you have to enable USB debugging in order to use ADB. I'm sure you knew that

Mi Mix 3 5G wont boot to android

Hello I have a xiaomi mi mix 3 5g that I never removed the bootloader on, as it had the stock EU firmware on. It has recently been updated to to MIUI12. however the battery went low and went all weird and now constantly reboots.
I can get to fastboot by holding down the power and volume down, I have also tried a wipe device by holding down the power and up. From what I have read I i cant re-install fastboot firmware without and unlocked bootloader. (can someone confirm that this is correct) as its not clear.
***I have now confirmed this I have tried to install firmware using xiaomi flash tool and fails with the following
"Error: erasing boot Failed remote erase is not allowed in locked state. so this confirms it.
Also I cant unlock the bootloader as it wont boot. Does any body have any idea of what I can do with this phone? any help would be apprciated
thanks
The error I get when trying the mi unlock tool
Couldn't Unlock
Please add your account in MIUI;s Settings > Developer options > Mi Unlock Status
Seems the update miserably failed, Android OS got corrupted. My suggestion: Re-flash phone's Stock ROM ( phone's battery should be fully charged ! ).
To keep you updated:
FASTBOOT is a program used to manipulate ( list, install, erase ) the non-volatile memory such as flash filesystem partitions on devices that adhere to the fastboot protocol, via a USB connection from a host computer. It requires that the device be started in a boot loader mode ( AKA fastboot mode ) with the fastboot protocol enabled.
Take note that fastboot ( the fastboot daemon ) is integral part of phone's bootloader.

How do I re-flash stock rom when the bootlloader is not unlocked.
I have already tried Xiaomi's flash tool and it when flashing the stock ROM and get the following error

Are there any methods of flashing a stock rom with a locked bootloader ?

I have already tried that method When I flash using the flash tool I get the error "Error: erasing boot Failed remote erase is not allowed in locked state" My bootloader is not unlocked is this method supposed to be work with a locked bootloader. Bit of chicken and egg situation. I cant unlock the bootloader as I cant boot the device and I cant reflash software as I don't have an unlocked bootloader.
AFAIK you always are allowed to flash an original firmware image without unlocking the phone's bootloader.
If you can access the device by means of ADB try to flash the Stock ROM via ADB:
Code:
adb devices
adb reboot sideload
adb sideload <LOCATION_OF_STOCK_ROM_ZIP_FILE_HERE>
C:\adb>adb devices
List of devices attached
f625af1 sideload
C:\adb>adb sideload miui_ANDROMEDAEEAGlobal_V12.0.1.0.PEMEUXM_9e4961bf09_9.0.zip
loading: 'miui_ANDROMEDAEEAGlobal_V12.0.1.0.PEMEUXM_9e4961bf09_9.0.zip'
* cannot read 'miui_ANDROMEDAEEAGlobal_V12.0.1.0.PEMEUXM_9e4961bf09_9.0.zip' *
@sivhead
Try this:
Rename the file to rom.zip and then start "adb sideload rom.zip"

I also thought its worth mentioning that I have never registered the device with mi connect
Also enable usb debugging is not enabled.
aqnd THe bootloader is locked .
Man I wish I would have unlocked the bootloader when I got it and put a custom rom on. then I wouldnt be in this situation. how ironic that I wanted to keep it stock
so I am at a loose end

Question Stuck in fastboot mode

Hello everybody,
My phone's battery died and I charged it. When I tried to turn it on, I saw this screen. I've tried clicking on the options but it's stuck in a loop and I don't understand what's happening.
If anyone has experienced this issue before, I'm reaching out for your help. Please assist me.
Flashing factory firmware in fastboot might be the only option. Doing such will wipe everything on your device though!

Since your bootloader is locked the only way to flash the OS is to sideload the Full OTA via ADB or use Pixel Flasher to sideload it. If you happen to have OEM Unlocking enabled in Developer Options you can use Android Flash Tool as that will unlock your bootloader as long as OEM Unlocking is enabled. If it isn't, sideloading the OTA will be the only way to reinstall your OS to hopefully get you out of this.

Oops! You are right, mate.
Hello so I am stuck here
When I go to Android Flash Tool it's says :
"Device Unlock DisabledFor security reasons, you need to enable "OEM unlocking" in order to flash your device. "
And when I tape in CMD the command "faastboot falshing unlock" it says
"FAILED (remote: 'flashing unlock is not allowed')
fastboot: error: Command failed"
Is there a way to unlock the devices states I have seen a video when
when a guy is using a unlock.bin he download at LG offcial site. Does Google have an alternative where can I download this type of file for my Pixel 6.
Google doesn't have an alternative. If you can't flash the OTA, and apparently you can't because OEM unlocking wasn't enabled in developer options, you need to get a hold of Google and explain your situation to them. You'll likely have to send it back to them, if able to do so.
You can't enable OEM unlock by fastboot/recovery.
Can you boot into recovery?
If yes, then this is your only way out!

Use image of OTA, not Full!

Unfortunately, it is not possible as my phone is showing that it is locked and I am unable to access the settings to unlock the OEM, since I am stuck in fastboot mode. Guess it's dead only if there is a way to unlock the OEM without going to setting.

You misunderstood!
You don't get to do anything from fastboot with OEM locked.
I asked if you can enter RECOVERY mode?
If yes, then visit the link I shared.
btw, why on earth you are flashing 'adb'?

Unfortunately, when I go into recovery mode, it keeps looping back to the original screen in an infinite loop.
I lost hope and went to a repair shop, but they told me to contact Google. The customer service will send me a package to return my phone. I didn't know that the OEM was so important, I will activate it next time. Tanks for your helps ...
