Hello,
I've noticed a few threads about people having trouble with connecting the Amazfit Pace to The Headphone from Bragi.
The Headphone simply does not show up in the Bluetooth list of the Amazfit Pace. It has something to do with protocols that are not supported. With some experimenting I came up with a solution.
The instructions below only have to be followed once. After that, The Headphone will permanently be available in the bluetooth list of the Amazfit Pace.
- Turn Off The Headphone
- The most difficult part: Find a bluetooth adapter that will show up in the bluetooth list of the Amazfit Pace watch.
I have an old laptop with a bluetooth adapter and it shows up in the list on the watch.
- Change the Bluetooth MAC address of that adapter with https://macaddresschanger.com/ to the Bluetooth MAC address of The Headphone. Make sure to copy the original MAC address of the laptop so you can change it back to the original.
You can find the Bluetooth MAC address of The Headphone in the device manager when The Headphone is connected to a pc.
- Turn on The Headphone in pairing mode.
- After making sure that the new MAC address of the adapter is actually the Bluetooth MAC Address of The Headphone (you can see the new MAC address in the previously downloaded software from above), pair the watch with the laptop.
- After a successful pair, disable the Bluetooth on the laptop.
- Scan the bluetooth devices on the watch. You will notice that the name of the previously paired laptop will change to "BRAGI HP 38" and will connect
- You may need to retry the last 4 steps a few times for it to work.
- Enjoy!
- Don't forget to change the bluetooth MAC address of the laptop back to its original

Hello, I've bought an NL-324BTR bluetooth TMC riceiver wich "works" on COM2 when I pair it with bluetooth. The problem is that everytime I start bluetooth on my device (I use phone weaver to autostart bluetooth connection in my car) the port COM2 doesn't reconnetc automatically and I have to go to the bluetooth settings and reconnect it manually. This is a very very bad issue for me (as you can imagine I can't drive and reconnect devices in the same time ). Is there an app, a script or something like that wich allows me to reconnect the COM automatically?
Uh, I was forgetting, in my car I've installed a parrot bluetooth hands free car kit wich works perfectly and automatically reconnect each time. I've also tried to use the COM with or without the parrot connection established but nothing has changed, no way to reconnect it automatically.
Any suggestion?
Thanks and regards
Andrea
Hello everybody,
I'm searching for following solution. During office day my Android (SG2) is bound to USB and so connected to workstation for the whole day. I'm also using a headset bound to workstation also connected by USB for VoIP and Music (of coz).
Question: To avoid a second headset (for the phone), is there a solution, which could bind the workstation connected headset virtually to the attached Android device as local headset. So whenever a call comes in on the phone, I would use the desktop headset for the call?
Thank you
Dejan

Moving to Q&A
I purchased an ASUS USB-BT21 that allows me to do this on my Windows 7 PC. It uses the Broadcom 2046 chip (use to be WIDCOMM I believe) and the software that comes with it (or download from their site) allows me to pair it with my SGS and answer calls on my PC.
I think any Bluetooth 2.1+EDR adapter should allow you to do this, but I dont know that for sure.

I use the Plantronics Voyager Pro UC2 headset because it pairs with my computer and phone simultaneously. It's also capable of some interesting "presence" stuff when it connects to either device and if you're on the phone or not.
Hello all,
thank you for the input, it seems more fisible to enable BT on PC as merging any USB to BT gateway over PC to Android.

Got the Arctic P311 bluetooth headphones and tried to pair them to my prime.
It Pairs and then drops to available devices, I go to pair it again and it tells me that it cannot pair because of incorrect pin or passkey.
There is no spot to put in the pin or passkey
While it was connected I was able to go into settings for the device and it shows a change name field and media and phone
It does not stay connected long enough to do anything and while connected does not have audio
Stays connected for about 10 seconds
I have no roms or firmware just up to date android system.
Have seen that other people have these connected to there prime without problem.
If it helps, tried to connect a Motorola Bluetooth keyboard and it connects then immediately gos back to available each time i try to pair it
Hello XDA-Devs,
i bought a brand new Amazfit Pace (International) and updated firmware to latest stock. Setup was quite fine and watch paired with my Phone (Redmi Note 3 Pro) and Amazfit Watch App without any problems. I was also able to connect via MTP from Windows 10 PC and store some music on the watch.
Now i tried to connect my bluetooth headset (Bluetooth Bragi Dash Headphone) without any success. I put the Bragi Dash Headphone into pairing mode and in wacht BT menu it opens BT overview with blinking "Searching" indicator. After a while the blinking "Searching" indicator disappears and thats it. The Headphone does not show up. I also tried with a Bluetooth speaker with same result. Both, the Bragi Headphone and the bluetooth-speaker are working without any issues with my Phone, Windows tablets and other devices.
Any clue or same issue? Actually i like the design of the watch, but possibility to pair a bluetooth headset was a buying decision for me ..
thx and br

1. Make sure the BT devices aren't paired with any other devices before trying to pair with watch;
2. If BT on watch is working fine, you should stay connect if you go away from your phone about 10m (without barriers), if connection drops 30-50cm from phone then maybe you have a problem with the watch's BT (weak connection due to bad antennae or BT chip);
3. Put phone and any other device around in Airplane mode (or switch other BT devices off), do the same to watch, then enable only BT and try to pair again. There are some known cases of WiFi/BT interference.
If everything fails, maybe the phone/speaker simply aren't compatible if they pair with other devices. Watch should be able to list other BT devices nearby, if the list is always empty, looks like BT is damaged. Try an unpair (reset) and pair again with another phone and/or account on Amazfit app. Good luck.
Hello lfom, thanks for fast reply. I did a factory reset and it still does not work with my Bragi Headphone (150€) (https://support.bragi.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000132569-The-Headphone-Technical-Specifications)
But one good news, i tried with a very cheap bluedio BT-Headset (9€) and surprisingly this headset i could directly connect to my Amazfit Pace watch and works fine...
... so it seems there is some general incompatibility... maybe related to BT 4.0 A2DP version. As you see here http://www.phonemore.com/xiaomi-amazfit/specs/3497 the Amazfit Pace should support BT 4.0 A2DP. I assume the Bragi Headphone does handle the protocolls correctly (had never any issues with them) and they are premium product... so unfortunately it seems we have to wait for fix fom Amazfit side.
Anyone else can report incompatible BT devices? Or maybe anyone else out there tried to connect a Bragi product?
Thx and br
Probably it cannot be fixed by Huami, as the the limitation is the hardware used in Pace (4.0BLE). I have read somewhere that Stratos uses a different BT chip and supports higher version, not sure if 4.1 or 4.2. There is a list of known compatible and incompatible devices in a Facebook group:

Thx lfom, i joined the group and seems that Bragi The Headphone does not work in general (others report that too). Sad that a standard protocol like bluetooth still seems to have compatabiliy issues. Have to live with it and use different BT-headphone. Thx for your help
Hi... my Kaidi headset will not pair Amazfit as well. I can pair Amazfit with iPhone and can pair Kaidi headset with iPhone but never Amazfit with Kaidi. Sad...
Hi,
As on my zf8, unable to pair my Garmin Fenix 7x by bluetooth ...
It was done on my zf8 by modifying an option in Dev options, bluetooth MAC visibilty. So it does not work in my zf9.
Any ideas ?
Solved myself yesterday.
I have to full reset my watch.
My watch was 'showing' to my phone a bluetooth MAC which was not the right MAC address. Weird.
No issues with pairing my Z9 to my Garmin Venu 2m, worked as expected
No issues paring my Garmin Epix 2 today either.
Only thing I've noticed, after pairing to a device, disconnecting it, it won't auto connect again ... which is a bummer but might be a software fix, hopefully.
