Hello,
I'm trying to open spotify with different accounts on my tablet.
I would love to have some automations on tasker that would each open an instance of spotify with a different account.
So that I dont have to log off and in again each time I need a different account.
So far I have looked into programms like parallel space that would somehow clone the app to use it with a different account. However I can't find a way to open these cloned apps with tasker.
Any ideas?

I got a 10.1 tab last night and it's great. I have one issue maybe you can help me with regarding the market and apps. My wife and I both have android phones and we are sharing the tablet. When I set it up and put in our email addys I went into the market and it was downloading all of the app we have on our phones. Cool feature if I'm replacing my phone, but not for a shared device that I don't need to be identical to our phones. Is there a way to not make it do this? The thought I have is to create a dummy account for both of us but then it seems like it will be weird to use gmail app and stuff like that.
Thanks!
wait what?
Are both you using the same Google Account?
No shared accounts. I put in both of our gmails under, settings then accounts. Now we can switch between the 2 accounts in the gmail app but I hate that the market downloaded each of our phone apps.
It's because there is a setting when you first ran the market or setup your gmail on the tablet. It's the option where you allow Google to download previously purchased apps off the market and because your phone uses the same account, Google assumes you want the same apps, if the app is compatible with tablet. Remember purchase can be paid or free apps. It won't sync again like that after the first time unless you decide to reformat and you don't uncheck that box again.
Hello,
When I initially set up my Captivate, I accidentally set my work email account as my primary account. Thus, all of my installs during that time have been associated with that account. I'd like to switch my apps to my personal account. I'm slowly working through my paid apps, buying and getting refunds to switch those over. Now, I want to fix up my free apps.
Today, I tried to uninstall/reinstall my free apps to make the switch but it didn't seem to work for many of the apps despite all of the effort involved to give it a try. I have Titanium Backup with a Pro key. Is there any way to use that or something else to relink my *free* apps to a different account without uninstall/reinstall?
Thanks,
Craig
Maybe the advice in this thread will help
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=909864
Unfortunately, I don't think that will help. I tried to relink with Titanium yesterday through the obvious options, but it never prompted me for which market account to use. I don't know if it is maybe using the default Google account?
Don't know if this will work but I read it here.
1. Download Root Explorer from Android Market
2. Explore to /data/system/ and find this file : accounts.db
3. Delete that file (accounts.db)
4. Reboot your Android device.
5. Walla…you can register another account
I actually found another way to handle this. It turns out that the mapping is held in a SQLite database at:
/dbdata/databases/com.android.vending/market_assets.db
There is a column there that maps to the Google account. I was able to pull that file off my phone, alter it with a bit of SQL and put it back in place on the device. This fixed most of the applications. There are still some that I'm having trouble getting control over (a couple Google apps and one paid app that I have paid for on both accounts). However, that cleaned up pretty much everything.
After I did all of this, I did find a setting in Titanium to control the market account. It *may* have been possible to use that to do the same thing. I didn't try it, so I can't say.

Sorry by the newbie question!
There is any application that stores accounts passwords??
Like paypal, facebook, twitter, ..., ebay, foursquare....
You could try msecure. It's on the Google Market.
:good:
Pocket. Good GUI and backs up to Dropbox if you want as well. Also available via Google Play.
Keeper from the market.
Has online Backup function
I like and use splashID. Can store many entries, custom fields, password to open app, certain fields can be masked the revealed and you can sync with your pc which works same way so when adding multiple entries its quicker to do it via PC.
Even used this on the windows platform years ago and never failed me even though I constantly flash new ROMS etc.
Sent from my SG2 on steroids
I recommend 'aWallet Password'. Stores passwords locally and does NOT have any upload/cloud sync features. Just what I need
Sent from my GT-I9100
I use Msecure!

This is from an article on CNET, sorry I can't post any links yet since I'm new to this forum.
"Before you begin setting up your Android device, you're going to need a Google account, be it a Google Apps or Gmail account. It's not required on an Android device, but if you're going to take advantage of all that Android has to offer, you'll want to sign up for one. You'll be asked to log in to this account during the initial setup process on your Android device. If you skipped this step and want to go back and add the account later, you can go to Settings > Accounts > Add Account > Google. This same process can be followed to add another type of account (Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.).
Contacts, Calendar and Mail
If your contacts are syncing from your iPhone to Gmail, transferring them will be a breeze. Just make sure you sign into your Android device using the same account you use on your iPhone and make sure Contact sync is enabled. For other accounts, such as Yahoo, you'll need to export your contact list from the Web site for the account. You can typically find this in settings for your account. Or, some carriers offer a free app in the App Store built specifically for transferring your contacts. Verizon and AT&T have apps that do just that.
Should you be an iCloud user, you can still use your iCloud account to sync calendars and contacts to your Android device, but you're going to have to purchase a couple of apps. I have talked about one of the apps before, called SmoothSync for Cloud Contacts; the calendar app is called SmoothSync for Cloud Calendar. These two apps will add your iCloud account to your Android device, allowing you to keep your iPad or Mac in sync with your Android device. This comes in especially useful if you're sharing an iCloud calendar with a family member and don't want to force him or her to switch to Google Calendar just because you've switched to Android.
Music
Perhaps one of the quickest steps of moving from an iPhone to Android is getting your music collection on your new device. What you'll need to do is download the Google Music app to your computer and point it at your music collection. Google will then store your music in the cloud, up to 20,000 songs for free, and let you stream it on your shiny new Android device via the Music app. Anytime you add new music to your catalog, the Music Manager app will automatically upload and sync it to your Android device for you.
If using Google Music isn't possible for you, you can drag-and-drop the music on your computer into the Music folder (create one if it's not present) on your Android device via a USB connection. Mac users will have to use the Android File Transfer app to access their device's storage.
Photos
With the introduction of iCloud and its Photo Stream service, getting photos off your iOS device is easy. Using iPhoto on a Mac, or installing the iCloud Control Panel on a Windows machine you can conveniently grab photos from your iPhone and then sync them to your Android device via USB or through your Google+ account.
For videos on your iPhone, you'll need to use iTunes, iPhoto, or a file explorer to grab the files. Using a program like iExplorer, Image Capture (found in the Utilities folder on a Mac), or the native Windows File Explorer taking the files off your device is simple.
Going forward, you can sync photos from your Android device to your computer via USB, or by installing the Dropbox app and enabling its Camera Upload feature. Rather not mess with a file explorer? The Dropbox Camera Upload feature is another method to get photos off of your iPhone and on to your computer."
Hi- Some of this information may have been posted by "Moreno2.0" but I wanted to give you some info very concisely.
1. From what I can tell, if you have already been syncing your contacts with google, you're set. If not, you may have to export your contacts and then import them into gmail (should be a relatively easy procedure.) I found the following site that may assist you with this and your music. http://goo.gl/OsGcPe
2. Google Play Music SHOULD import all your album art, etc.
3. The biggest thing about Android is the fact that if you want your phone to do something, most likely you can. You chose the #1 Android development related forum to come to, and you should definitely stay active around here (at least checking out what projects people are working on etc.) to help your experience a lot. A ton of the apps I use daily I probably wouldn't have heard about until I came here. Not everything makes Editor's Choice on Google Play.
4. I don't see how you would lose your features if you use an official update method. Most of the time you will update via OTA (over the air) and your phone will notify you that you have an update ready to install. I'm not familiar with your device's specifics, but if you check out its related forum- you may find that you can Odin (Samsung Tool) update to 4.4 or another software release in the future.
Welcome to Android, and please feel free to personally message me if you have any questions. I'm not a developer (yet, working on that), but I know quite a bit. I'm an iOS convert myself.

Hi guys, there is a hard and kinda wierd one, but hopefully someone will be able to figure this out.
I'm using Huawei Y6 2017. Now I'm not too sure is this specific to this phone or it's more a general android app querry. If so, can admins please move this to correct place.
You know how some games or apps uses facebook account to sign in if you want to link it? Now If I have the example game installed, when I click to facebook sign in, a popup window shows allowing me to enter facebook mail and password. Which is fine. I would really like to keep it like this, but if I install a real facebook app, and use the same game, instead of popup window, game opens real facebook app. Now question is, is there a way how I can force a game to still use a popup log in, rather than facebook app without me having to delete real facebook app. Else, to force a game to use Facebook Lite app for signing in rather than main facebook app. Am I making any sense?
To explain why I need this, is becasue I have multiple facebook accounts. And on my main account I have disabled gaming platform fully. For games, I have another account and I have loged that one on Facebook Lite app, because my model doesn't support multiple facebook apps. Facebook app itself does supports multiple accounts, but that is kinda wierd as If i switch the facebook account in game, it switches in app as well, and when I return my main acc in app, game switches as well. I don't want to be switcing accounts all the time, as it's not convenient. Other reason is if i have single account registered only in my main facebook app, it doesn't offer me an option to login with another account or logout tempoary of current without saving that account in the app. It always forces game to use that single account which is loged in on facebook app.
Thank you all brainers out there who don't mind speding time to be looking into this.
Cheers to all!
