Hey guys. Recently flashed Android 9 on my XA2 since I can't update through the OS. I had the Gcam apk installed for my XA2, but now I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone have a link to it?
I've found this, it works on my XA2, even though it says it's for the Ultra.

this 2 are the best (yet) gcam i've found for xperia xa2. (mine is H3133). I prefer the first one cz it has hdr and portrait mode. Portrait mode only works with close up face shots. And the second one has "lens blur" only.

Hey, in snapdragon 650 spec we can see that recording in 120FPS in FullHD res is supported. Is it possible to make it working on MIUI??
Also is able to record in 4K but only with Google Camera...

I've tried 4k recording with open camera on MIUI build by Xiaomi.eu
In good light record is nice quality and smooth but when it's dark record becomes laggy and poor quality.
I dunno if it's software or hardware fault.
Just because the SoC supports [email protected], doesn't mean the camera support it too, or does it?
I've tried several Google camera builds but most of them crash while processing photos. So I'd like to know that which Google camera build with portrait mode and hdr+ works the best without crashing?

Me too. I'm searching for a working Google Camera port from 2 months. I have had installed Pixel Experience custom rom as soon as I bought my phone and then I tried A LOT of Google Camera ports: BSG, Arnova, UriKill, cstark, Skulshady, Toylan, scrubber and so on... They always have FC (more or less), some of them doen't even start, or have bad quality photos, or too pink... or too FCs.
Then I changed to Lineage OS 15.1... same story: tried the most GCam ports... same results!
Today I reverted back to stock (MIUI 9.5)... installed Arnova's v7beta9... and till now I haven't had FCs!! And with stock camera I can record slow motion videos (this is not possible with gcam port)!!
But I really don't like MIUI. Even with Magisk's Pixel module.
I have been using this GCam ver. 4.4.012.156195200.build.41155109 for many months now on stock MIUI rooted with Magisk. After each OTA update I just reflash the magisk image and change the build.prop for enabling Camera 2 API, and I get it working again. The slo-mo is buggy which I found fixed using the "Google Camera Patch" in magisk repo.

P.S. I can't confirm it working with any custom rom. I am on MIUI 9.2.2.0 now and it works flawlessly (HDR of stock camera doesn't work with Cam 2 API enabled)

It's a very old version, not supporting "Portrait Mode", is'nt it?

HDR+ : Rear
Potrait mode (Lens Blur): Both rear and front
And I should add that the HDR+ works really well... seriously!
Can you send a screenshot / link of the exact Magisk module you're talking about?

There is no gcam mod for onyx. But if you are asking for simple google camera apk then you can download it from apkmirror website.
Parrot043 have made incredible ported Gcam for version 7.0.009 for Xiaomi device mostly but as we know Zenfone Max Pro M1 is stock Android phone so Gcam will work the best and less issue other than phone with Ui like MiUi,OxygenOS,One Ui, and others.
Also Astrophotography is present but wont work well as it needed powerful cpu better than Sd670..So Sd636 or Sd660 not working well..It does take astrophoto but with lot of digital noise.
Note: Camera2 API must be enable to full(level 3) to install Gcam.

Night mode doesn't work on 7.xx versions for me, it gets stuck, freeze, or unable to take photo. Everything else works fine though. I'm on pie, 4gb ram and 64gb storage.

Gcam 7.0 is for Pie only and if you have Android Q please use Gcam 7.2..
One more things, Gcam only works best with AOSP based rom like Stock Rom, LineageOs, OxygenOs, and other..Check Derpfest if it AOSP based or not.

On stock rom?.Before install new Gcam please uninstall other Gcam,clear cache and data and make sure available space is at least 2GB internal..and make sure camera2 Api is enabled to full.
gcam v7 isn't stable on my phone, sometimes freezes in night mode when take capture, but sometimes it can be normal by moving to the front camera and back, but it's very annoying. finally I downgraded to v6 because it's normal there.
im on cusrom ion os pie x00td 3/32, unlock cam2api, free internal 8GB+, free ram 1GB++

I have the version 7.0.009 on my samsung galaxy s8 snapdragon, but the photos taken in portrait mode are the same as the stock camera samsung, any suggestions? I had already used several versions but black screen came out in camera and portrait mode, only in video mode could I see

Hello guys, I was using latest 7.2 stable by parrot with final config, now suddenly it has stopped working, upon clicking it clicks but doesnt save photo, I switched off HDR then it works, but as we all know HDR is one of main features. Also upon restart it takes 1 pic , again stops working, tried latest beta same thing, any workaround?

I have Sharp Aquos R2 Softbank version 706SH and I was wondering if there's a Google camera port for this phone cause it's camera sucks TBH I bought this phone only because of its processor snapdragon 845 and it's 120HZ refresh rate display it's stock camera's HDR is not that good it softens image I think,can anyone please port Google camera to this phone or make a moded version please,its running Android 9 pie...

I tried some mods.. about two worked but the camera two api that is enabled without root has some restrictions so you won't get better results.. Anyone who knows how to unlock bootloader to help, then we can install our own camera II api

I have the same phone, can you set it to 2g and see if it works, whenever I switch to 2g it goes back to 3g. Can you check this on your phone ?
