i need rom for Alcatel POP C5 5036D
Few of my friends got that piece of junk in Netherlands, but it hasn't PL (polish) language only Portuguese, Deutsch and Netherland (?). It would be very nice if someone could port something or make unique ROM for it with EU East & Central language pack.
OR
If anyone know how to add a freakin polish to Android 4.2.2 & will share with his/her knowledge I would really appreciate it :highfive:

Have you tried morelocale from the playstore? Maybe you have to root it first and then use morelocale but try it first without rooting.

Did not even knew that such aps are out there
Will update tommorow about progress.
Updating:
After succesfull root with Kingo I used Morelocale 2 with NL Rom on 5036X ! and it's about 85% PL, rest is in EN.
So... sorry for mistaking it as 5036D (Dual Sim), as it is 5036X (Sim)
And now need some ROM for that crap, cause stock is stinking
Pls, if anyone find roms for 5036x, contact me asap. Thanks.

What Amazfit app are you using? As you have the international model (A1612) you should use the one from PlayStore. Make sure you are connected to 2.4GHz WiFi, and you can check from updates from both watch and app.

I'm using the playstore version, 2.3.1. i have connected to 2.4 GHz WiFi, but still the same result. Also I did a reset
Anyone with the solution? I have the same problem.

You must connect the watch directly to WiFi, at least this was the solution in my case.

I did that already. Also have a problem with changing units with an app. After changing to metric in settings i swipe down the main screen and after that little bike disappear in the upper section i still have miles on the watch. But that ROM version 1.3.0n is disturbing... no bike for me i guess.
both of you, make sure that your paces are not Chinese units flashed to US global ones.
I have the same problem, I got the watch today and it is on the 1.3.0n version.
I tried to connect wifi directly from the watch and I got a message said "latest version running”.
Same from the android app.
How can I do to update the software?

How do I check that? The box is all in English and model is A1612 (international as I recall)

There seem to be some problem with 1.x updates lately: some people didn't get 1.3.7 and only a few are receiving 1.3.8a. I suggest that you wait a couple of days and contact US Amazfit to report the problem if you have an A1612 model. Or if you don't care about warranty, unlock bootloader and flash WOS2, it's simply much better than 1.x.

So I'd like to add an update on my situation. I bought 2 amazfit pace watches model A1612, one for me, the other for a friend. Ridiculous part is that mine is stuck at 1.3.0n and friends one had 1.3.4f at the start and got an update to 1.3.5 and 1.3.6d immediately after pairing with phone. That's really weird...

Here in brazil we dont have warranty, so i installed WOS 2.6.0.12 ROM v0.4, and now i have a fully working pace! :victory::victory:
A person from the FB group said that he could update using a VPN on phone after unpairing and pairing again, but he didn't specify which country was used for the VPN.
I bought amazfit pace with ROM 1.3.0n and i haven't got the new update. What can i do?

I tried some countries without success =/
same problem here. stuck at 1.3.0n and no latest update available.

Hallo everybody who is prepared to help me!
I received chinese phone GREE G0215D (Android version 6.0.1, processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 820). It does not work in Europe because it does not support Google, resp. it is impossible to install GooglePlay etc. Evenmore, in spite of choosing an English language option it speaks in chinese language very often. I supose it needs reinstalling of its ROM if it is possible.
Is there anybody who has en experince with such a change and woudld be so nice and could help me, pls?
I am living in Prague, Czech Republic and I appriciate a local contact if any available. At the same time I do not refuse any other advise , of course!

The Stratos 3 is already available in China. I contacted Gearbest and they are selling the Chinese version but they claim it can be flashed with the international firmware once available.
I read in the forum that for the Stratos 2 it was possible. Shall I believe them?

Trusting Gearbest? No.
You may be able to flash Global firmware in Chinese version if you unlock the bootloader, same way as for Pace, Stratos and Verge, bit it's not tested yet.

Can you tell me the way to setup a new firmware with french language inside ? I'm a bit stuck with all these chinese signs

With my previous mi bands, I had no issues purchasing the Chinese version, it used to detect the language in the phone and set the same in the band no issue.
However, my new Amazfit GTS is stuck in Chinese.
Is there a way to set it to English? Custom firmware or anything?
