I guess the main issue is getting an official TWRP.
This might be one of the issues why it takes longer than expected...

I have make it with mix OP3 mi5-Gemmini and lots of help from @andr68rus but have to many issues to resolve..

great news, I had already seen some rom Miui 9 on android 6 and I thought it would stay there for our max 2.

Yes, Miui, Eui and Flyme are Roms on Android MM, the Miui 9 will be in Nougat.

cool but with the x829 i have many probleme in roaming , the last build reboot my phone , and the crisblagreece rom make a burning phone and block
i think miui and other custom rom are not compatible with x829 when the roaming is activated

Anyone knows where can I get official miui ROM for redmi 3 ? I have the store fake ROM and I can not unlock it.so I realized I need to flash it with miui ROM and then unlock.
Do I have to fastboot flash it or recovery flash would do?

Of course are we, the Bootloader is granted to unlock, we can root. Can't we write Boot.img Partition for the Kernel or such things? As I see it we just got no Developers in Action.

I can't give verification if they're working and are properly. Some off then for real aren't as the link is malfunctioning, showing to another devices.

We could port awesome ROMs before thanks to Treble and GSI. Now we can compile custom kernels to get even more juice out of hardware
This is no doubt an excellent move and great for the enthusiast community.
Have not tested this personally, first global developer rom for Mi9 SE

Where did you find it? On miui.com I can only find the chinese version whereas on en.miui there's just the EEA stable.

The link is an official xiaomi link so the rom is legit, their en.miui website is not always updated properly. Let me know if you've tried it, you should be able to flash from updater app by manually choosing the rom package, if you are on global stable rom (not eu rom)

Lol true that but a "tip" to make it better is add as much fingerprints as you can (I have 3 with the same finger)

What fingerprint sensor do you have?
For check you can use AIDA 64 f.e.
