Is this the latest version or a new OTA update us pushed over air?
I don’t get new OTA updata. I'm using this outside China.

Today, I have just update mine by ota. I have version 9.1.0.170.
Hi, I'm still on 9.1.0.164 (OTA, phone purchased in EU), but yesterday someone from Czech forum sent screenshot with (probably stable) android 10 OTA update.

I have just checked my phone for new updates and I already have 10.0.0.175. My phone was purchased in China but im using it in Panamá.
I have still version 9.1.0.169(C431E2R5P1), phone bought in EU in Czech republic. No update available. How can I update to Android 10? I tried several method which are on the internet - change of region/language to UK/EN, try to update via HiSuite in PC... Nothing has worked.
Can you please help me?

Try the way explained in this post. Remember to use HiCare for changing the region to China. If you try changing the región on the phone settings it is not going to update. I have Magic 10.0.0.187.

Hi guys! It´s been a while since I posted last time...
Got myself a Mate 10 Pro and very happy with it. My phone has the latest OTA but I read somewhere that there are more previous firmware. I downloaded Firmware Finder from Play Store and it tells me there are several newer versions for my phone. Is it safe to use this?
My phone has the following firmware:
BLA-L29 8.0.0.142(C432)
Firmware Finder tells me that the latest firmware for my phone is
BLA-L29C432B115a (8.0.0.115a)
I find it a little strange but what is really the newest firmware for my phone?
I use the Swedish version, not locked to any operators.

Whatever is the newest one, you won't be able to force an update via FF. It doesn't work anymore. I have just the same firmware, and see the 115 as the newest as well. I also see 145 as approved for installation, but it doesn't work. You can't download firmware. Huawei changed something on servers. All we can do is waiting for official OTA, or for Team MT to fix it.
Someone tested the BLA-L29C432B115a and it's an old one so no need to apply it lol

Is this normal! I didn't receive any update after this version 8.0.0.141 (c109)? But in the c185 they received updatet after it!
2. After this update i did a factory reset and all things .. I felt that the possibilities of the mobile weakened and the speed slowed down and also in some games became heavy ..
I wont to know if anyone hase the same thing or I have a problem with my phone or this is the normal state and possibilities ofthe phone..

You probably have to wait until the update with gpu boost comes to your region.
I am also waiting on c432. The latest update was 0.146 for me

I'm not sure if i will receive it or not! Because i buy this phone frome Paris (orange-France) but i live in Tunisia (africa)... And in my region they received already the 0.152 (c185).. ?
Download "firmware finder for Huawei".
It can check the newest compatible firmware version available for your phone. It can also let you update to a newer version even if your phone is not updating, but this could brick your phone.

Seems like we are not quite up to date with features with Orange.FR
I have updated the firmware 8.0.0.0.143 (C109) today and I have to say that for the moment magisk works perfectly, as well as TWRP. So, August patches and rooted with magisk 17.1.

I have received the EMUI 9.1 notification update on HiCare. However, when I got to the phone settings> software update I get the notification that the current version 9.0.0.266 (C432E10R1P16) is up to date.
I am on Three UK - LYA-L29.
Is the EMUI 9.1 carrier specific? I just don't understand why I get the update notification would come up on HiCare but on the phone settings doesn't.
Any one with an idea what would be wrong?
At least you got the notification lol so it's probably coming for you soon. As for me, my device is C432 as well and I haven't gotten any EMUI 9.1 notification. Nothing at all. Smh. I guess we just gotta be patient.
The weirdest thing is that someone from these forums with the same region AND carrier as me said they received the update. I just don't get it. I'm not butthurt but how is that possible? Same region, same carrier. They got the update and I still havent. Really weird.

Read very carefully the header....it says update REQUEST.
You have been added to a back server updater.
I am in same position I clicked thinking it would show up, still waiting....
But reading some threads here it doesn't look like 9.1 is all that special especially if you want notifications showing.

Same for me mate , Giffgaff UK, requested 8 am on the 26/6 still nothing... Like .266 probably will get it in about 2 weeks time.... :crying:

I live in the nz. I heard the news about Mate 20 Pro getting emui 9.1 as soon as it came out and i've been waiting ever since. No updates, no requests, no nothing.

Not sure how about you. But after I clicked the update icon in HiCare I was able to update to emui 9.1 (from setting menu)
And this is not working for a lot of Mate 20 Pro users.
Some dont get the notification at all and some ( me included) received the update notification in the HiCare App but there is no new systemupdate available..
Now I am on 266 C432.
According to the support, we need to wait until our Waves are published...

Strange how they can say that when it was advertised that all mate 20 series would get the 9.1 update in June i read this from Huawei central so not sure how reliable they are.
Im on LYA-L29 .266 (C432) Three UK and still no update.
I don't understand this. I'm currently on 9.0.0.238, and my phone says the software is up to date. I have the mate 20 pro, LYA-L29 version, on Three UK. The hicare app also says my software is up to date and emui 9.1 is nowhere to be seen.
I am still on 9.0.0.215 on LYA-L29C605.
I installed HiCare and when it didn't update me to 9.2 I smashed my phone with a rock.

Over the course of one month I've tried everything you said two times each, I even contacted Huawei local costumer service and they replied and I quote: "Judging by your IMEI number it doesn't appear that you have a Huawei device at the first place, that is why you don't get updates", so yeah, the phone that I've purchased from an official vendor with a relatively higher price than the free market isn't even registered.
Note: yesterday I tried to download a FullOTA ANE-LX2 EMUI 9.0. update via Firmware Finder and the download unfortunately failed.

FF won't help you, you can try get bootloader unlock code for 4euros on hcu-client.com , then rebrand your phone to global version. Or, buy Service ROM on easy-firmware for 17euros and upgrade your phone to EMUI 9.1 using dload method (yes, crazy ). Sorry, I can't help you anymore
P.S.: try a google search to find the method "patched HiSuite" or "proxy HiSuite", it may help you. Good luck!
Hello, I am from Serbia, last update on my phone was "rmx3363_11_a.05" 4.9.2021. I used Windscribe vpn and connected to Germany, got the update rmx3363_11_a.08 and installed it. Is OTA stopped and did it install updates that were between 05 and 08?
I have the same issue. I am from Italy but I am stucked to A05 and no available updates, I even try vpn with different countries but still nothing. What is the problem?

I am in Greece and i had A13 when i bought the global edition gt. So with vpn and Germany as selected region i got A16 and then A17. Now i am waiting for the ui 3.0 update to come naturally as ota update.

No the updates form 05 to 08 weren't skipped, the 08 contains them and so on.

Do you have a battery drain problem when scren is off? How much do you get SOT?

I saw that some from europe got Realme ui 3.0 on GT . You may get it soon.
