My Xiaomi Mi9 no longer starts in Fastboot mode. (No OS Installed) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Good morning to alle? for now,
So now to my problem.
I had a lot of time yesterday and wanted to root my new Mi9 and install TWRP to adjust my device a bit. It all worked fine until the phone started into a boot loop and stopped working. Of course I booted into TWRP and reset the phone...without success. Then I deleted everything that was to delete and tried via. Fastboot Miui 11.0.5, which didn't really work. With Miui 10 it worked then and I could set up the device again. Then I thought to myself that it might now work to install Miui 11 via Fastboot (Of course it didn't). That was at 0:30 at night, so I was tired and went to bed. I switched off the mobile phone, the Fastboot mode, so that the symbol doesn't burn into the screen. This morning, about 20 minutes ago I wanted to start a new attempt, so I pressed the power button...and nothing! I also tried to press for about 20 seconds...but without success. I also charged the device for a short time, I noticed that the LED does not light up during charging. But I can't imagine that the device is empty, because yesterday it had 100% battery. Now it is hanging on the charger. I also tried to start the phone via Minimal ADB and Fastboot, didn't work, because no device was detected on the PC.
I hope that is still somehow to save, I was perhaps a little overconfident there. But I think I am in good hands here and a solution will be found.

[Q] Rezound won't turn on at all, or boot. HELP

Last night I tried rooting my phone and all that jazz. The battery has no juice and the phone won't do anything, wont even indicate that it's charging. i can't get ANYTHING from the rezound. I plug it in and here a few beeps, but that's it. I think I need the P58IMG stock for this or something, but nothing is doing anything. I'm sorry for incorrectly posting, but I leave for school in 10 minutes!
You can't let the battery drain all the way down. Leave it on the charger for a bit, then pull the battery. Let it sit for a hot minute, then try booting again.
Ok, It's been on the charger since 7:35 this morning and i'll get home at 3 pm and hopefully it boots up. Do I need a external battery for this? I just need it to boot into hoot and recovery, then i can do it from there. I have the stock htc rezoned battery. I'll let you know when I try to but at 3pm or earlier because that when I get home from school
Also I have clockwork recovery on my rezound and I found out that clockwork doesn't charge a completely dead battery via usb. How would I flash AmanRa recovery when the battery is dead, thanks.
I read on here somewhere that a couple people got theirs going by connecting to PC and using a reboot command in adb. Don't know that command offhand.

You want this post.
IrvChynaman had some troubles and did some pretty extensive troubleshooting on it.
Just came across the adb command:
adb reboot bootloader
One person said they typed that about 5 times before they booted into bootloader. (someone also said they thought the phone was charging even though the light wasn't lighting up so that may be why this works, once there is enough juice the phone can boot into bootloader or something) From there you should be able to reboot phone and then once it's booted you should be able to charge.
Once you are charged you might want to flash Amon Ra recovery to avoid this issue in the future. Otherwise just make sure you never drain the battery to the point of phone shutting off.
Thank you, I will try this out now. Hopefully it works, I'll keep you updated! Thank you guys!
UPDATE: Ok, so I follow the instructions the post says. I type in the command in where everything is ADB, etc and the recovery.img.. it my computers beeps, beeps again and the orange light comes on for 3 seconds and turns off.
If you still don't have it charging you can try looking through this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=22370748#post22370748
There are different methods posted in there that have worked.
Look at my comment in the thread. If you can get into the shell with 'adb shell' as I did, there is still hope.

I had this problem about a month ago on my Rezound. I just pulled the battery and let it sit for a bit. I then put the batter back in and plugged the phone into my laptop. I then used
adb reboot
and my phone turned on and it was able to charge.

[Q] Lenovo phone bricked itself?

Hi,
I've got Lenovo s650, rooted with a custom rom (MIUI). All was perfect for weeks but few days ago it started randomly going off. Then I noticed that sometimes when I listen to music it crashes (making the music freeze and repeat same note for like 10secs) and shuts down. I thought it could be related to some apps but since I was very busy I didn't do anything about it.
Now today I noticed that my phone suddenly lost network coverage (in area where I always use it). I tried airplane mode on/off but didn't help, so I powered off and thought I will do hard reset when I get back home. However since then the phone is completely dead. Can't get into recovery, if I plug into USB nothing happens, if I take out the battery the red light turns and it goes to "META" mode for few secs (as it's intended to) but I can't download anything into it as I get some DRAM error in Upgrade /flash/ tool.
Funny thing that somehow I was trying all the combinations Volume up/down/both + power and at some point I randomly managed to turn it on so I was gonna make a backup of my stuff but it froze and shut down again. Now nothing works......
Any ideas what happened? :/
Some additional info:
I've got TWRP recovery (however I am unable to re-download it again via flashtool because of DRAM error).
I tried getting into adb but I am not sure if it's possible when the phone is off (tried volume button combinations with battery in and out but nothing).
Also when my phone is with battery and I put it into USB, pc recognizes it as "MTK USB Port", but it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting every 5 seconds. Tried to replace it with adb USB driver but didn't work.
Not having a phone I'll probably give a "Format all" option a shot in flash tool... either gonna brick it forever or fix it..
Edit1: Can't even format due to DRAM error....... :/
Edit2: This is so bizarre... I managed to connect my phone a couple of times in Mediatek preloader mode so the flash tool started flashing the rom, but stopped in a few mins unable to format something because it's protected.
I also managed to turn on the phone a couple of times and tried connecting via adb, but once I grant root permissions, adb shell on my pc cannot find device anymore.
It seems like either a hardware or kernel problem but I know nothing about either of them..
Edit3: I don't know how but I fixed it. Phone seems to be fine for now
Edit4: After 1 hour of working the phone died in exactly the same way.... And so this 6-week old phone will be going to rubbish bin. End of my blog.

Bricked Xperia Z3v with locked bootloader, can't enter recovery or flash mode

Hi guys. So I have been going through xda and Google for hours and hours trying solutions, to no avail. I almost never post on forums for help because I can usually find the solution. Not this time. This is my last resort next to throwing my phone out a window or praying for death's sweet release.
The facts: I have a rooted Xperia Z3v. I tried to upgrade TWRP in order to follow some directions on upgrading to Nougat. I flashed TWRP from 2.8.X.X to 3.X.X.X. I rebooted and it never made it to the Sony logo. Now, if I plug the phone in to either a wall socket or PC it vibrates, endlessly at three second intervals, each time with red LED. If I try to enter flash mode, then its the same but with a brief green led after the red. I can enter fastboot (the only way to stop it vibrating while plugged in) and my PC sees it, including Flashtool, but since my bootloader is locked permanently, I can't really do much with it.
When plugged into the wall-charger, I noticed that the charger's LED changes from "Active" to "Inactive" with every vibration. I'm pretty sure I'm in a reboot loop. The screen is totally dead and there's no logo, but every three seconds it kills it self and comes back.
I have tried everything I could think of.
What I have:
I have the stock firmware ready to go
I have TWRP backups on SD card and PC
I have Flashtool
I think my drivers are good, but not 100% sure
I can fastboot
I'm at my wit's end and losing hope.
Please, I'm open to any suggestions at all.

My tablet suddenly stoped booting properly.

Hi, suddenly my tablet doesn´t boot. Everything seemed to be fine last time I used it (tuesday), then today I turn it on and got stock in Sony´s logo, reseted (vol up + power) and after sony´s logo just a black screen showed up and a blinking red light. Turn it off, I tried to charged it but when I plugged in the same thing happened when the charging battery logo should have appeared. I went to recovery mode everything seemed fine (I could even copy some files to external sd). I connected it to the computer fastboot is working fine; I clean flash it with flashtool to 32.4.A.0.160 everything went fine, turned it on but still the same problem. Fastboot is working fine, I even reinstalled TWRP and I have access to the recovery. My tablet was running 32.4.A.0.160, kernel by Nimadroid, Super SU, TWRP recovery. I don´t remember having done something risky (flashing something, didn´t turn on myXperia), the only thing I did before was intalling WhatsApp, but I turned the tablet off twice and used it two different days before this happend. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

HUAWEI Nova Plus stuck in boot loop, recovery mode/ABD not working

Hi. So today, i was using my 1 year old phone when suddenly, the power/reboot screen appeared and my phone rebooted. It then started to loop every 2-3 seconds. I tried recovery mode but i coudn't hold the volume button long enough before it rebooted. I had USB debug and a bunch of other dev settings on allready and tried to use ABD but my PC didn't recognize my device. I then put the phone away for a while and turned it on. It worked. But then, it re-entered the loop and it worked again. It now is in a stable position, i recovered all my data. I suppose this may be a hardware problem but i don't know much. What do I do/how shall I fix it preferably without having to go to a repair center or something?
You can try to install stock rom but first adb must detect your phone. Make sure you install the adb/fastboot drivers and the USB drivers for your phone.
