Hi, my Verge Lite appears to run perfectly until I try to change settings on the watch (such as watch face) and the icon is missing when I scroll down. If I change the watch menu items from the app and save then restore to the previous items and save again then settings is visible on the watch. However after a while it disappears again. Very odd behaviour, is it deliberate from Amazfit? Or could it be an early sign of failing watch memory?
Anyone else seen this?
Reset (factory reset) watch and keep the default settings, if it works normally but stops once you save a custom configuration then probably it is a software bug.

Does anyone know how/if there is a way to prevent notifications from appearing on top of the watch face?
With my original Moto 360 / Android Wear, there was an option to disable this. You could still scroll down to see your notifications and still get vibrate notifications to let you know you got something new. But the notification would not cover the watch face. Any ideas?
This is usually an option on the actual watch face you are using. If there is no option, the watch face probably just has a default that you can't change.
If you are using stock faces from Android Wear, open the app on your phone, select the cog by your watch, then select your watch under your device settings. Scroll down to Card settings and if you want previews to appear.

Thank you! I didn't know there was another menu when I tap my device from the settings menu. This fixes everything, thanks!
Struggling with this also. Nothing stops the watch from blasting a HUGE notification on my screen. This is seriously a major flaw in android wear. They need to copy what the Apple watch does. If you arent looking at your watch, the notification shouldn't show on the screen. When you LOOK at the watch, poof, there it is.
Its getting annoying having everyone reading text messages on my wrist when I receive them. Even if I block the content of the message, they can still see I am receiving one, how often, and their contact picture.
This is seriously a major privacy issue.
On Wear24:
With updated Wear app and latest Android Messages, I'm able to use the message app in all functionalities, except for a pretty big one;
When I open the app, I can see previews of all of my message threads, but when I tap the threads, the app crashes/closes.
I have factory reset a few times, rebooted, all of the normal troubleshooting steps. Is anyone else having this problem with the latest updates, or has anyone run into it and found a fix?
Having the same issue, ever find a fix?
My issue is, whenever I enable dark mode, the screen flickers white, it's unresponsive, and the only control I have over the phone is the statusbar pulldown. The only remedy is waiting for it to crash, then deleting it, and reinstalling it. Other dark mode apps work as expected.
Hey all, I have an issue with the notification settings being limited/not available for some apps. Both Yi Home and Mi Home are missing the option to configure notifications for certain categories and the MIUI settings claim that the apps haven't shown any notifications (see greyed out 'categories' in the first two attachments). If I take i.e. the BlueMail app (third attachment), I have all the default categories available (floating, lock screen, sound, vibration and LED).
What else is weird is that Mi Home does vibrate and activates the LED when a notification is shown, but Yi Home does not do anything, it only shows the notification in the status bar so I no longer get any alerts from my camera unless I unlock the phone and go look for it manually. This is a big problem for me and I would appreciate it if somebody could tell me how to fix this. I've looked through all the settings and tried everything I can think of but it just seems that MIUI doesn't detect the notifications for some reason.
I just checked the Yi Home app on my Honor 7 and there I do have more options, see attachment. So really not sure whether this is an app bug, OS bug or MIUI bug.
Is there really no one else here that uses either of these apps on the Pocophone to see if he/she has the same problem?
In Settings -> Smart assistance -> Accessibility -> Downloaded Services, the apps installed there keep getting turned off.
I'm running Type Machine (keystroke logger) and Smart Launcher, and neither will stay enabled. I can turn them on, then a while later, I'll get a notification that Smart Launcher is unable to turn the screen off, and directs me to this setting, where I find both disabled again. I haven't been able to pin down a time frame yet, although it will happen multiple times between reboots. Neither setting survives a reboot, either.
Anyone seen this before? I've found a few reports of it on Reddit, but no solutions. Can't believe I couldn't find anything about it on here.
Aside from this and other small annoyances like the touchscreen apparently losing calibration, it's a fantastic phone.
I sometimes have this issue with nova launcher as well. You can go battery settings > app launch > turn the two apps to manual manage. It may solve this issue of them auto turning off.

Thanks, I've done that and will keep an eye on it to see if that solves the problem.
I have this issue frequently with MacDroid. I have MacDroid set to manual battery control and have excluded it from pretty much all system management. It also has every permission known to mankind.
Oddly, even when Accessibility shows that MacDroid is disabled, sometimes (most of the time) it continues to function. So this may be a UI bug as much as a system disabling the services bug.
The cause I am not sure. I only know the downloaded service for Nova Launcher gets auto turned off if you switch back to Huawei launcher. However, it does NOT get auto switch off when you remain on nova launcher.

It doesn't seem to affect apps running at all, merely affects certain specific features. In the case of Type Machine, it seems to just be blocking its ability to capture words coming off the keyboard app. The app is still running, I can still see previous captures, it just stops capturing.
With Smart Launcher, it says it's needed specifically to "allow Smart Launcher to expand the notification panel and the quick settings panel".
I changed the power settings per Koong1's suggestion... they turned off again after a while, but I re-enabled both, and they've stayed on ever since. So that may have solved it.

You can try restarting your device to check if they stayed enabled. If it does, then they are pretty likely to remain stay enabled in the future.
I'm guessing this may be the case with all Amazfits, but I find it odd (on my GTS) that I can't delete a notification when it first appears on the watch screen and have to back out (or long press) and go into the menu > notifications > and delete it there. Seems like you should be able to just swipe left and delete? I tried using Notifcation for Amazfit app and setting 2X button press to clear last phone notification but doesn't seem to work.
