Yesterday I tried to update to EMUI 9 through Hisuite which locked my bootloader again. I tried to use my bootloader code on it but I get a message telling me check password failed.
Bootloader's unlock code is tied to oeminfo's motherboard.
-Did you not switched O & 0 or I & 1 in your code ?
-Did you flashed an oeminfo from another device ?

Hi @all
i have tried to rebrand my chinese Honor 9 to EU and it failed. Now my bootloader is locked.
Status:
PHONE: Locked
FRP: Lock
The phone can be recognized by fastboot. But if i try to unlock the phone with the unlock code, that i have from the official website with:
>fastboot oem unlock XXXXXXXXXXX
it says:
...
FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)
finished. total time: 0.031s
If i try to get into recovery, i just end up in eRecovery and there the phone is not able to download the image.
I have a HONOR 9, STF-AL00
Can anybody help me?
Is there a solution beside to try it with DC Phoenix to get the bootloader unlocked again?
Thank you in advance

Hi Rommco05, in the back of my mind i have already assumed, that this will be the only solution and i am already getting familiar with the thought to give DC Phoenix a try.
I just wanted to check if i maybe miss some information of getting rid of this problem with another way...

hi guys , got big problem .
tried to get a stock phone ... so deactivated oem in settings then locked bootloader , phone started to bootloop. i know that this can happen if your bootloader is unlocked, strange thing is that in fastboot mode it states as phone relock und frp lock .
i tried dc phoenix and here result of checked bootloader : OEM lock state info:
FB LockState: LOCKED
USER LockState: RELOCKED
OEM get bootinfo:
unlocked
Oem shouldn't have been toggled.
Phone state will remain relocked after relocking the bootloader.
Try dload method with stock firmwares and see if it makes a difference. If not, boot to erecovery and download full firmware.
erecovery = getting package info failed
dload = software install failed
Isnt there any Chance repairing it?

Hey,
Five months ago, I decided to flash the EMUI 9 beta on my Huawei Mate 10 Pro (BLA-L29)
Everything was working fine until one day the device didn't want to boot.
I decided to fix the problem by using the recovery but the phone refused to boot to recovery, So I headed to fastboot and I tried flashing EMUI 8 but it gave me the error "Command not allowed"
I then noticed FRP Lock was enabled, I was so stupid to disable OEM Unlocking.
I tried using DC Phoenix with this :tutorial: but It didn't work, I got the error "Device running incompatible security patch", "Command not allowed".
I decided to try the DLOAD method but the phone never booted to the installation process.
Model: BLA-L29
Build number: :BLA-LGRP2-OVS 9.0.0.108(log)
OEM LOCK INFO:
FB LockState: Locked
USER LockState: UNLOCKED
OEM get bootinfo:
unlocked.
I don't know how to solve this problem, Could anyone help me?

If you've forgotten your Google Account password then there are lots of ways to recover the account:

If you bought the phone from someone, the only solution is for them to give you *their* password so you can unlock the phone, and then change it 72 hours later.
If you came across the phone via other means, factory reset protection is doing exactly what it's designed to do. There are numerous sites claiming to bypass it if you do a quick Google Search.

It's SIM-locked. You can buy an unlock code to fix this. I've used The Unlocking Company in the past for a Mate 20 Pro, so I can confirm that it works.
The bootloader lock irrelevant. It might update to 10.0 or 10.1 automatically when powered up, or when a new operator's SIM card is installed. If that doesn't work, HiSuite will drag it to the latest version.
What a bout frp ?
Hi
I've got a Huawei Mate 20 Pro running EMUI 11, Android 10.
I'm able to unlock my bootloader, but is it possible to root it as well?
No, you can't even unlock bootloader while on EMUI 11 (option is not available to enter unlock code in fastboot)

My option to unlock it ain't grayed out. I'm able to turn on the switch, I just don't have an unlock code

Option in Android settings is just first part of puzzle.
The rest two are not currently solvable.
2. Can't get unlock code - Huawei stopped giving them.
3. Unlock command in fastboot is simply NOT PRESENT (Huawei literally removed it in EMUI 11 the hard way)
