If you decide to go with the 1350MAH battery please let us know you're thoughts regarding both performance and vendor.
Thank you
I got a 1250mAH battery for my MDA Vario from http://stores.ebay.co.uk/SINO-WORLD about a week ago (search for "Wizard"). They delivered it in about a week. It seems to have around about the same capacity as the original battery.
It came to $24.88 including delivery to the UK but I used a Paypal voucher that reduced this by 10% so it ended up about £13. They gave me this link to the battery manufacturer's WWW site
found this site the other day, may try the 2500ma one.

Does that battery (the 2500mAh) have the same dimensions and pins as the Wizard battery, though?
it doesnt:
PLEASE NOTE THIS BATTERY INCREASES THE THICKNESS OF THE XDA . REPLACEMENT BACK COVER IS INCLUDED

and...its for the Magician
This one is for the Wizard:

hmm.. almost double the life - might be worth the extra thickness. Now if only the showed some proper pictures of the actual thing in a wizard + new back cover :|

1-AA battery recharger. They didn't post any info on just how much it's able to recharge, but it's enough if you're in a bind and should fit easily in a lot of the pocketpc cases
just ordered the 2200mah one from here
http://www.gpsforless.co.uk/product_details.php?id=2971
will let you know how it is particularly how thick and how long it lasts. only 25 pounds could be a bargain
http://www.lionbattery.com/description.php?noproduit=332
mega beefy and over twice the capacity of the standard - but out of stock.
a second battery in my wallet seems a better bet
Still waiting on some reviews on how the extra thickness and battery life is like :?
Sorry for the delay in pics guys but also wanted to test battery and try with different cases. The battery is bigger than expected but not as big or thick as mugen 2600 mah. the cover seems a bit larger than it should be - it may be possible to trim it but have not tried.
Found that with battery in and leather case on - no battery cover, things not so bad and only slight bulge at back. With cover supplied I wouldn't show my phone in public lol
here are my battery tests
Wizard battery
Standard 1250 Mah
25% loss 2.5 hours browsing
60% loss 5 hours browsing plus some game, radio, omap 240 15 mins
Extended 2200 Mah (75% more Mah)
20% loss over 2.5 hours browsing
40% loss 5 hours browsing plus some game, music, omap 240 15 mins
44% loss 7 hours browsing reconfig ppc
46% loss 8 hours browsing reconfig ppc.
60% loss 9.5 hours browsing (nearly double standard battery)!
80% loss 11.5 hours browsing
90% loss 12 hours browsing
All browsing was continuous and on GPRS.
Fairly impressive I thought for a 25 pounds sterling battery!
here are the pics - taken with my spv c500 so apologize for quality
The case btw is a modified krussell case meant for Magician but works for Wizard.
In short then decided to keep the battery - I wish it was slimmer but no other available extended batteries in the uk I can find and at the price can't comlain
see pics here http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=43510
external battery charger
has any one come across a external battery charger for the HTC wizard t-mobile T-Mobile MDA Vario
I'd like to see some Li-poly battery alternatives. Has a higher energy to volume ratio so you could pack more juice into the standard battery size, plus its lighter.

Yes see here http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=127197&partner=froogle
Dont know which country you are from, but expansys are good and are in us too.
meschle - I think they meant a charger for a spare battery. Kinda like how some of the cradles for other devices have another slot to charge a 2nd battery.

does anyone know where i can buy this? thanks
Hey guys, I've looked around a bit at all the different batteries but I'd like your suggestions! I'm thinking about the Anker 1900mah. I'd really like one that fits in the stock case and is higher than the stock battery.
Thanks a lot
We purchased the 1900mAh batteries for our 2 Evo 3Ds in August and couldn't be happier. You get about 15-20% more capacity, which is nice. The Anker & Chichitec batteries seemed to be the best at matching the claimed mAh rating according to some lengthy threads on XDA about 8 months ago.
+1 on the chichitech and i've heard good thing about Anker
My recent testing show that my chichitec after about 6 months of daily use, to still be about 1800mah for comparison my OEM after using about 3 months is showing only about 1600mah
Go for Seidio 1900 mha Works well and not a knock off battery
I just got two anker batteries. It says 1900 mah but it lasts just as long as the stock battery so I recommend it. Same with chichitec I have two of those as well.
The Anker 1900mAh battery is good value for the money, just make sure you fully drain and charge it 4-5 times to get the most out of it.
mugen 1950mah battery is the best and legit!
Thanks for the suggestions, after looking around the other threads I went ahead and bought a chichitec battery. It should be shipping soon!
Hi
Seeing a bunch of 3100mah batteries on ebay for about $13 or so.
I know there has been stability (auto shut off) problems with anything but stock batteries, so do any of you use higher mAH batteries and how stable has it been?
Also, is 3100mah about as high as it gets for our Notes ?
Would welcome any recommendations for places to buy quality battery as well. Thanks
Try looking in the accessory section. Many battery threads there.
Hello all,
After two years my battery now cannot last for more than a few hours.
Do you guys have any shops/websites/sellers to recommend to buy a good battery for the Alpha (hopefully genuine Samsung, buying in the US)
The ones I've looked at from Amazon all look horrible with a bunch of fake 5 star reviews and the only genuine reviews being 1 star.
I'm not sure about US market but I've bought this battery 3 days ago http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mnuynow-2...635490?hash=item5b238f91e2:g:~BkAAOSw3mpXGDhv I'm after 3rd cycle discharge and charge and hold very nice. My original one couldn't reach till 4pm with full charge from 7am. And now I've reached 25h with almost 4hr SOT, 30min car Bluetooth, WiFi/3G 24H, gps/google maps 25min, youtube 20min, web browsing, few txt, ebay, 40 mins calls. I don't think it's 2500mAh as it is the same size as original one but I think it could be around real 2000mAh. I'm very happy with it
JuBaTec is a good brand. You can find it on eBay.
Also looking for an additional battery. I tried a cheap $5 battery from ebay, it had good battery life but started swelling after a few months and no NFC. Then I tried a "genuine Samsung OEM" $15 ebay battery: NFC doesn't work and it barely lasts longer than the original stock battery.

Here's a quick over view of my experience with this battery. So far I've been very impressed getting over 10 hours in SOT. It makes the phone about twice as thick at the bottom 2/3 but is actually quite nice to hold still and not too heavy. The actual capacity is massive I'm sure its the 6000mah they claim which is surprising considering how cheap it is relative to the other brands.
The back cover that comes with it does feel cheap and flimsy but I purchased the honeycomb case with the battery so that is not a big issue for me. My major concern with this battery is its voltage. On the battery it is printed that the Max charge voltage for the battery is 4.2V (the standard lithium ion Max voltage) but the lg g3 takes its battery up to 4.35 volts (due to modern phones using a slightly different li on chemistry). Constantly taking the battery to 4.35 volts when it is only designed for 4.2volts will significantly shorten its cycle life. For this reason I'm using an app called Battery charge limit to only charge my phone to 92% which is equivalent to around 4.2 volts.
Overall highly recommend it and the honeycomb case if you want to give your lg g3 a new lease on life and massive battery life without breaking the bank. Time will tell how long it'll hold up. Saw reviews saying after 6 months the battery swells up but hopefully by limiting how full it charged to that can be prevented.

from where did you buy?
I'm in Australia so don't have access to Amazon so I got it straight off their website http://www.mpjbattery.com/mpjr-6000...ile-d850-at-t-vs985-verizon-ls990-sprint.html also have the honey comb case on there. If you're in US or UK or some magical place that has amazon you can get it off there.

Don't all g3 models use same battery? I have the d855 and it works fine. You lose NFC and wireless charging but I didn't use em anyway.
As long as your battery is BL-53YH it fits fine
Ah yes. That one I got aswell.
Not only acts as awesome battery, but comes with a SUPER COMFY case (feels icky going back to the usual case, this is way more handfriendly)
It should work for D855 too;
I bought one from aliexpress which was stating 7500 mah but the SOT is still the same with original battery. I tried some apps to estimate the capacity which actually was ~3000 mah.
So I dont want to waste money again. Can you share some screenshots for your SOT? BTW the shape of the battery and back cover is the same as this one
Nah haven't got any screenshots sorry mate, my g3 died of the dreaded screen flickering and fading bug. Trying to sell my extended battery now actually. But anyway I guarantee its an extended battery was getting 6+ hrs sot when I was getting 3 before. You can also look at the Hyperion 6000mah battery pretty sure it's a clone of the mpj or the other way around. You can look for YouTube videos of people using the battery too btw. Cheers.
