Anyone else know how to fix this issue that causes videos on the twitter app to always stop playing, buffer then load again every 10 seconds or so while connected to ANY wifi connection.
Never happens on mobile data.
A quick google show it seems to be pretty endemic on Huawei devices but haven't seen a solution.
Actually, the only solution is disconnect from wifi and it work immediately.
Been going this since I got the phone and has happened across multiple updates.
I have found this problem on all Huawei, Honor phones I have tried (4 in this household alone) and not only on WIFI, mobile data as well.
Whilst not a total solution I have found Twitter Lite to be the perfect solution.
I can't find too many differences between the Lite and the full Twitter app, seems to be fully functional just looks a little different with no video buffering.
I've the exact same problem on my Mate 20 pro videos on twitter etc constantly buffer until you switch wifi off they play fine on data
if you like those videos you can download them with a twitter downloader

Two big problems with my EVO 3D that are driving me crazy:
1. I have been having this streaming video issue for a few months now. No matter what streaming video service I use (although mostly YouTube or the G4TV app) the video will start to massively lag eventually. The timing is always different, sometimes its a minute in, sometimes its 10 minutes in, but it WILL eventually start to lag. The sound is still playing, but the video stutters or flat-out stops. And it turns out its not just the video, my ENTIRE PHONE lags when this happens, so much that the hardware buttons and touchscreen don't respond until about 30 seconds to a minute later. This only appears to happen when streaming video, already-downloaded video plays just fine off of the SD card. Half of the time Sense appears to crash when this happens too, since I see it restarting after I exit the streaming app. My cousin has an EVO 3D as well and this isn't happening to him, nor have I see anyone mention about this on Google ) the instances of lag I found were buffering issues. I don't have any idea where to begin finding out what is causing this, does anyone have any hints?
2. My G-Mail app stopped working. And I don't mean it stopped syncing like it has for others before, I mean it dosen't work anymore period. I can still launch the app, my accounts are still there, but NO new mail since Janurary 12 has shown up, manually choosing refresh does nothing. I tried rebooting my phone, and even clearing the Gmail app's data.... all it does now is say "Your email will appear shortly" ... its been saying this for about three days now. I can't even use G-Mail on my phone anymore! Help?

Are you rooted? If so, are you on a custom ROM? If yes, which one? On average a simple wipe fixes the problems you talking about. I can't say much about the streaming issue since I've never experienced it, but for the Gmail issue, go into Settings>Applications>Manage applications and find Gmail, then "Clear data". Once you set it up again the problem should go away (at least that's my experience).

As I said, I already tried that, didn't work.
Device: Nexus 7 (2013)
OS: Android M 6.0.1
I've been having a problem with network errors popping up whenever I'm watching online videos on my Nexus 7. The video will load and play for about 5-10 minutes nice and smooth with no buffering, then a network error will pop up and I have to reload the page and restart the video. It's not like my internet is dropping out, because right after it happens I'm able to immediately reload the page, fast forward to where I was and continue for another 5-10 minutes before it happens again. It's not browser related either, it happens with both Chrome and Firefox. I thought it might be the "Google Connectivity Services" program that came installed, as there were a lot of bad reviews for it on the Play Store. I disabled that, but it made no difference.
I never get these types of issues on my iOS devices or PC. If someone could help me get this fixed that would be great!
Anyone?
Has anybody got Cloud Sync to work?
I want notifications to go to my watch without a bluetooth connection.
I can connect the watch to wifi but I can't get any updates from my watch.
I have the same problem. I am using a Note 4.
I already did a reset without a result .
The asus support could not help me.
It seems that not many owners tries to use this feature. Would be interesting if any zwatch 2 works with wifi.
I know mine does not respond to 'OK Google' when I am out of BT range, even if it says it is connected to WiFi. I do seem to be able to get notifications though, and I have always been able to execute Tasker Tasks from Wear Tasker.
But Android Wear docs say "OK Google" should work. I have seen similar reports from others using different watches so I am guessin this is just some typical broken Google goodness we'll have to wait for them to straighten out.
I used to have tons of sync issues with my Zenwatch (both first, second gen), and this trick solved all my issues - have no idea how and why, but it worked:
Just let my Zenwatch battery go empty, did not charge it for 4-5 days, than recharging. It connected my phone (mate 7) again normally, and all syncs (in my case weather, notifications, step counts) worked fine again - permanently. NO idea how it works (emptying cache watch?), but it worked for me.
All other suggestions of forums (re-installing, reconnecting): not..

After a bit of research and some common sense troubleshooting, I have my watch working as expected on my local Wi-Fi network.
I read something somewhere that Wear has had some issues on higher Wi-Fi channels. I also downloaded WiFi Analyzer to check used channels in my area. All APs were in the neighborhood of ch 6-11.
I forced my router to ch 1 and bingo. Phone is now upstairs at the other end of the house and everything is working great, including 'OK Google' (knock on wood).
My ZW 2 has a working wifi connection (2.4Ghz Port1). I know that because google maps on the watch is working even when the phone is switched off.
My problem ist, that no notification appears on the phone and no "ok google" command works, when phone and watch are only connected via wifi and bluetooth is switched off.
The asus support told me, that i am the only person with this problem who contacted them.
Seems to be a problem with my galaxy note 4.
I will give it a try with a xperia z3 compact the next days.
I canĀ“t believe this is a hardware problem.

So I've had this problem for a day and a half now, and it's really annoying. My phone is connected to a WiFi network, and yet no app has an internet connection, be it Facebook, Youtube or the Play store. The only two apps who still work somehow are Skype and Messenger (albeit not always, sometimes it takes a minute or so to send a message). I have no idea what the cause of this problem may be. I tried a few things from some Youtube tutorial, but they did not help.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 btw
Hopefully you people will have the answer
Have you removed the battery for a few minutes and then tried again?
Hello everyone,
I've been having this issue for several months now where all my social apps like messenger, instagram, whatsapp, flock, gmail and so on won't show notifications when my phone is connected to any type of wifi.
The notifications are late, or they show up when i open the app. Sometimes they repeat themselves even after i checked, like something is blocking them till some point.
I tried SO MANY things to fix this (factory reset, disable device care and any battery saving settings, reinstalled apps,...) and ended up using 4g all the time as the most solid one for the time being.
It's just very frustrating that something as simple is this is not getting fixed for a long time now.
Does anyone have similar issues? Or maybe even a fix for this? I noticed this happening to other people around me using different samsung devices.
I don't know if this is a samsung related issue or something else.
Thanks!
