Private Space is a separate account where you can hide all of your private files, photos, videos and apps. You setup this account with a pin and fingerprint password. After you’re all set up, you can access your private space by pressing the fingerprint sensor which will log you in to your separate account. Your main fingerprint will be used for your primary account and a separate fingerprint will be used to access your private space. It’s really fast and secure, which makes this a great EMUI feature.
to setup Private space, go to settings> security and privacy> PrivateSpace

Private Space is kind of a hidden feature that not many people know about or use but it is very useful. After using it for a bit, you’ll come to rely on a separate space for all of your files and apps that you need to keep secret.
This is a nice feature, but it didn't work for me....I set everything, move files apps and then after some time it just didn't recognize the space!? Did not unlock using the settled finger, and could not access it so i lost everything!?

This is an app I have been working on for awhile now. I would appreciate it if people would test it out and let me know how it works. I'm linking the free version of course. Basically this is an app to create dialing extensions (ie. you're calling customer care and you always have to enter 1 for english, then enter the last four of your social, your phone number or bank number whatever).
Start with adding a name and number. Next step is dialing steps. Add waits, pauses and numbers. App shows everything you add in a visual listview. You can edit, delete or change the steps as you see fit. When building the extensions you can call out with the extensions you already have to make sure they are working and populate the next steps. The free version does have ads and only allows you to add two entries. Exporting to contacts is only in the paid version but you can easily call from the free version.
I'm looking for people to test it out and offer some advise and let me know how it works, thanks.

KeepassDroid is a great app for password management, but there is a much better app on the Windows Phone platform. I recently made the switch from WP7 to Android but I'm really missing 7Pass. Maybe there is a developer interested in making this alternative Keepass client.
This picture shows main reason why 7Pass works better that KeepassDroid:

- There is a web browser built in, so instead of needing an external browser, the app can function competely by itself
- With 1 press on of the buttons, the username/password gets copied to the currently selected textbox. This way, there is no need to long press every textbox or open the notification bar, making the process a lot easier and faster.
- Dropbox and Skydrive functionalty is built in, both upload and download
- Ability to edit Keepass 2 files.
I would love it if an app like this would be made for Android,so if there is any developer out there looking for a new project...Go for it :laugh:

Recently, a new app came out for Power Rangers that scans the bar code on the top of trading cards you get with toys. It's called "Power Rangers Card Scanner" and is free. It uses barcodes like this:

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

}
Using Google Goggles, I was able to figure out that each Code 128-B bar code represents a set of 8 characters, such as the one above being 115ZPASA. The first 3 numbers represent the card number, with the one above being #115. The Z and last A I have found to be constant in each code. However, when I turned on airplane mode, the app was still able to read functioning bar codes, but not able to access the internet to play the clips.
Would this mean the database with the codes is stored client side? If so, is it possible to just find a list of those codes or bar codes that from a database or list that is stored on the phone? I was thinking if this were possible, then I could gain access to a bunch of unreleased clips. I just don't know how these apps store this information to reference on the phone.
Hello, anyone knows how to add an exception for folder?
In MIUI10 it's not possible or I don't know how to do. Cause is I have a folder in my sdcard with all my apks, and the "cleaner" shows as "trash".
In MIUI8/9 cleaner screen was like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And only needs to uncheck the "category"
Now, in this fabulous update, It's like this:
And if I have 150 apk files, I need todo add 150 files, one by one, to exception list. Any workaround to do this?
Am following. I also have challenges on that as it doesn't give any option menu to add
Personally I think MIUI is going backward instead going forward
Following. Hoping for a solution. I can't add any app to exception. I don't have an SD Card installed if that matters.
Go to security->cleaner->scan now after scanning press on the file
Press on the file once dont press and hold
Now there should be a pop up with the option to add to exception
Let the scan complete fully to get the files list
Go to security->cleaner->scan now after scanning press on file icon then press one time data and cache below the icon. You'll get the option of add exceptions.
Hello,
Anyone knows an app alternative to Tasks 1.3.4? I am still using it but developers stopped updating it.

The best tasks app that ever was, I'm starting to have issues, Google is blocking on one phone and I can't add new lists on others. Veg disappointing
@HenryHvPa What do you not like about Google Tasks?
I like the ability to quickly enter, indent, move multiple items too other lists, without entering dates or any other extra data
The kiss principle..keep it simple

Google made some changes how apps access Google Account. I remember going to security tab and creating new password for every app separately. Did you try it? I don't remember why I didn't continue with it.
