I recently updated my S10+ to Android Q. Somehow the rights for HD playback in the Amazon Prime Video App must have been removed.
At the moment thereĀ“s no HD playback with Amazon Prime Video and Android Q on Galaxy S10.

Is there some workaround to allow streaming of Amazon Prime HD videos from Amazon.com?
I can stream Amazon Prime movies in SD with no problems at all, but when I try to stream any HD content, I get a window popup with the message:
'You can not playback this HD movie via the Amazon.com website. HD movie playback is limited to Kindle Fire HD, Xbox 360, PS3, Roku, TIVO or other Amazon Instant Video HD Compatible devices. Would you like to watch the Standard Definition version instead?'
Anyone had any luck getting this to work?
Seems pretty obvious that Amazon reserves HD streaming only for users of their authorized devices. What's not to understand?
I use Firefox beta and run amazon on desktop and it gives me hd streams
Sign up to Dropbox using my signature and we both get an extra 500megs free http://db.tt/YZjXmjTT

If you had read my post, you would realize I was trying to find out if there was a way to get it working on the Nexus 7
I'll give Firefox a try as another helpful poster has suggested.
It works
Amazon instant video released android app to finally stream amazon instant video content but Xperia is not compatible to stream in HD only SD.. Is their anyway to bypass that?
Just read that no android devices can stream HD video from amazon instant video If that's true any bypass?
Hi All,
I've just bought the following TV box from Amazon and am seeing some strange behaviors from Plex.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01J5NEOCC/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_u-70xb5KTY65V
1) when playing some videos it will pause for a second and then the video will play at a faster rate, while the audio plays normally.
2) a video with directors commentary on it, plays this even though it's not selected.
3) TV Player is installed and summertime if I watch a TV channel first and then use Plex, I sometimes get the audio from the TV show busy into life over the menus in Plex and sometimes over the video.
With the same version of plex on my tablet, Nexus 10, I don't see this behavior. Any ideas if I can fix this our should I just return it?

It seems even this smartphone has hdr10 screen recognized by prime video and YouTube, but Netflix Is limited to HD streaming.
Is it supposed to be like this ?
Same here.
I believe that the Netflix app needs updating to release this function.
Hello guys: I have a regular Prime Video subscription, and I downloaded the official Prime Video app on my chinese Android TV Box from the Play Store, but (probably due to a missed device certification), I can only watch video contents in standard definition.
My question is: there is a way (or a modded APK) to watch Full HD contents with Prime Video on my TV Box?
