[Q] EMUI 10 Anyone else have this issue? - Huawei Mate 20 Pro Questions & Answers

Got the Android 10 Emui 10 OTA without any Beta involvment. Some bugs here and there... but this one pi**es me of bigtime. Does anyone else have it? I have tried to clear cache from recovery but no luck.
Apps get darkmode... widgets also. But the systemsettings itself? It feels like it has to be on my side... Huawei can't be that sloppy to "forget" this, right?

Nope... Didn't work. Tried restart, changing different setting... no luck.
I'm afraid I have to make a factory reset... But I thought I'd check before so this isn't a known bug

I read about another guy with the same problem, I don't remember in which tread

Just change theme. Find some dark or black one, and that's it.

I make my own themes (icons) but no thememaker works proper with emui10 although it's stated at the developers. Only some icons change... not as on 9.1

I don't understand. I use Rom toolbox constantly to change fonts. I even used fonts from toolbox and converted to bold type font.
I'm having this exact same problem so I didn't want to start a new thread. I've tried ROM Toolbox and probably half a dozen other font changing apps and none of them work. They all request (and are granted) su but after rebooting, same stock font. I must be missing something obvious. P769 w/20F rooted.
I believe that it's because LG UI is based off of Sense. If you use the font changer, some browsers font change on Google search. But that's about it.

I didn't know that the LG UI was Sense-based. Even so, I previously owned an HTC Glacier (myTouch 4G) which was definitely Sense-based and I was able to change fonts without a problem.
Do you have any other ideas?

Well then, idk why it doesn't work. As I said, the browser would change the text of Google Search results in *some* browsers, I think it worked on Opera. But the actual system itself? Nope, nothing. You're stuck with what LG gave you aha. It doesn't matter to me though. Roboto looks LEGIT.

Those are how I don't want to do it ahaha! Because the screen is somewhat laggy /;
EDIT: But I really do want to. My camera is like 4 years old, me being a teenager I don't use digital cameras xD My mother has one, so I can check if it does any better picking up the screen. Hers is newer, and maybe there won't be as much glare. I really would like to start and get a nice joint YouTube/G+ profile going.

Well, I do. I believe I can edit some light settings on Sony Vegas 12 (Which I TOTALLY got legally xD) to where the glare on the screen will be.. less dramatic. I'm also considering doing it in a brightly lighted room, so that the glare isn't as dramatic when compared to the dark. I believe it might just work. And I was getting on to ask, after this video, what other content would be useful?
I'm not interested in unlocking my bootloader, so I won't be making a tutorial aha.

Not sure if this is the right forum. Apparently MIUI is available for LT39H now. Various links say so, but have not found it.

Darn, where 1024 I think.. where really small..
Small? That would mean you have a 1024 system and the apps are 800 I think?
Can you post a screenshot please, even if it is small? Would like a quick look and if better; might entice me to reinstall a later ROM which Ive been planning but too lazy to do

Yup, you would think.. I have 800x480.. 1024 is smaller pixels. So it tries to fit.
I mistakenly thought I had a 1024 before and install the wrong rom.. It was expanded. Here was the opposite.
I will find the file and install it. It takes it an update, if it does not work, you can roll back
Yup, they are 1024. I used zip to open and look into the files..
I m sure at one point the apps fitted both resolutions.

Honestly I have no idea, but I haven't dug that deeply into things yet. Just enjoying the phone for what it is. I'm in two minds about Themes as it is.
1) They're good. Some are great. Minus the price (this is a point of contention for me after coming from HTC and not having to pay anything on their theme store, but I've bought a few that I really like and, ultimately, a lot of them are only 70p. Its not that much).
2) I've so far not found a way to apply individual components of a theme. For instance, only the icons. Applying a theme without the wallpaper or ringtones, etc. This feature would be much appreciated, but I've just learnt to deal with it for now.

Great, but I noticed some bug:
- The sub-selection on settings is not well-themed
- The switch off icon is not well-themed, it should have a background color (instead of black)
Hope you can fix this issue.. Thank you so much, anyway!
Sorry I am not the author.

Hey guys to apply the theme use an app you can find on Google Play called My Themer.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=sid.soepic.mythemer
@Giansi, Thank you, my friend, I succeeded. The theme is great, I've been looking for this for a long time.
Couldn't import the theme with MyThemer (greyed out when trying to select it), but could import it with MIUI Themer. Great!
I imported it with MyThemer, but soon after the theme was reverted to the default one. Im on honk kong region.
Any solutions?
I find this link and I will try it in weekend. Pls try if u can and report back.
