Just wanted to share I was on Sammobile yesterday downloading the current XAA ROM for the N975U1 unlocked version NOte 10 Plus. When I flashed it I was surprised to see it's the Star Wars ROM. I don't really like it and I need the non-Star Wars ROM but thought there might be Star Wars fans on here who want to grab it.
https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/g...SM-N975U1/XAA/download/N975U1UES2ASK2/304814/
is this a joke?
No why?
https://news.samsung.com/us/samsung-announces-galaxy-note10-star-wars-special-edition/
there is Star Wars edition
The battery died on my Note+ so I took it to a repair shop. They replaced the circuit board along with the battery but the board that Samsung sent is for the starwars edition. Now whenever I pull the pen out it makes light saber sounds... :/
Can somebody please confirm that this large 7 Gb (comparing to regular 4.5 Gb) N975U1UES2ASK2 ROM is in fact StarWars version which will be released this Friday and can be flashed into SM-N975U1?

So this has the different boot/splash screens and the star wars theme?
Yes it does have the different splash screen on boot etc. I flashed it using the patched Odin on an unlocked Verizon N975U. I’m sure it will flash to the U1 as it is a U1 ROM

Yes, I installed it on my SM-N975U. It's official. Even has the light saber sound when you take your S pen out. I like it so much I ordered the actual Star Wars phone.

I'm guessing no. I'm no expert, but I think the different model won't let you Odin a SM-N975U1 rom to a N975W. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

If the w code is a snap dragon variant, it should work. You'll just need to carrier flash it using the modified Odin. W is the Canadian code I believe which is a snap dragon
Anyone knowing I can flash this to the smaller note 10?

That was the only rom I ran for more than a few hours on my Bionic, switched it up to AOKP for my RAZR Maxx and always went back to AOKP. On this phone I don't want to give up a few features, I wonder if he'll keep the useful stuff like multi Window and pop up browser.

Lol more like warp speed seriously guys Nitro is a beast and is killing it! It will be coming soon. Sorry guys not trying to tease but Nitro has put in a lot of work and I will not spill the beans.
So my intention was not to tease you guys. I don't think, first Note 2 need to receive Lollipop and after this probably your dev's will starts to port the rom for your phone. But from S4 to S3 is impossible,is 2 different phone.

I don't think that's a good reason. There have been ports from other different models in the past. You always need to apply the proper drivers when you are porting from one phone to another so I guess the limitations will be the same whereas you are porting from the S4 (which to me makes more sense as performance wise the S3 LTE and S4 are similar) or the Note 2.

All models of S3 have the same chipset (Exynos 4412), it is not possible to port S4's lollipop to S3 since there is a difference between chipset (ram....etc doesn't matter)..... Other roms like a note 4 rom (for example) are based on a port from another device with the same chipset.....
Good News is Note 2 is going to get lollipop as Samsung Poland confirmed it, so S3 (i9300 and i9305) will get a touchwiz lollipop update:good:

Pure nexus is different from nx ROM and IMO better than the latter one.

Is there a better choice at this price?
I want buy kenzo model. 16 Gb and 2 Ram
How can i understand that is kenzo?
Sorry for my bad english
Yeah it's still a very good choice, especially if you are into budget phones.
I would go with the Kate model however as it has LTE band 20 support, that helps a lot when traveling through (or living in) Europe (which I do).

Development support is identical on both kenzo and kate models as they have identical hardware.
The only difference is the modem firmware, and given that none of the custom roms come bundled with a firmware package (that could potentially override your own firmware), that means that all roms that work on kenzo, will work equally well on kate.
Long story short, no development support difference between kenzo and kate. :good:

Not really, the only difference between Kate & Kenzo is the firmware for the modems. Kenzo has a better selection of cases and such but Kate has more bands that it supports. Kate is 2mm taller than Kenzo.

My Kate has the FPC102 one, works flawlessly.
If you're buying the phone, I would recommend going to the 3GB RAM version.
Honest suggestion:
I would recommend Redmi Note 4 (SD version). It'll gain the same (maybe little less/more) popularity like Note 3. It'll also have official Nougat update. So, there'll be bugless Nougat custom ROMs. While, Nougat will not get released for Note 3 and there are chances that we'll be stuck with these camera/flashlight bugs for months. So, i would suggest, Redmi Note 4. Yes, it has SD625, which is inferior to SD650. But if you're not a gaming guy, it's fine to go for Note 4, which has also better battery life compared to Note 3, because of the chip being made on 14nm architecture.
If you're not in India, I would suggest to wait for Note 4 to popup on international selling sites.
