I recently got a Razer Phone (original, not Razer Phone 2) that I installed Lineage OS on, and I was dumb enough to re-lock the bootloader. Now I can't enable flashing. When I boot it gives the message "Your device has failed verification and may not work properly [...] Device will continue to boot in 5 seconds"
After 5 seconds it reboots and now it's stuck in that loop. It won't enter the recovery (same message) but the bootloader is still accessible.
I can use fastboot but I can't flash anything since it's locked, and I can't re-enable flashing.
Also I got it used from a friend so there's no way I'm gonna be able to RMA the thing.
Any help will be appreciated!

Hi,
Can someone help me? My Moto Z bricks itself:
I have a Moto Z XT1650-3. On January 31 the phone shutdown alone, after I unlocked teh screen with fingerprints then I restarted the phone and all fine. Then the phone shutdown again, when the phone restarted. It restarted in fastboot mode I switched to restart normally when it showed these message "Your device has failed verification and may not work properly".
I have my phone unusable. When my phone returned for the Moto Technical Support It only boots in fastmode. No recovery no OS (android). I've to say that I never try to root or unlocked the bootloader of my Phone it worked really smooth. I bought the Phone on October 4th 2016.
Finally I tried to reflash the Stock Firmware via fastboot and the problem continues . The phone only boots in fastboot again an again. I tried via fastboot the CMD: gtrvall and said tha warrantyavoid NO.
When I tried recovey mode the same message appears "Your device has failed verification and may not work properly" and I cant do anything.
I wonder someone can help me.
Regards
So you tried to reflash the firmware via fastboot and your device is still dead?
I had the same issue but flashing via RSDLite fixed it.
In your case, I may have to throw in the towel and assume that a critical block on your system partition is corrupted beyond recovery, possibly caused by a defective NAND module.

Hi
Yes i tried to reflash via fastboot it didn't worked the phone boot until in fastboot mode and sometimes the Motos logo appears and then again fastboot mode?.
Thnks for answer but if it is this i think that its a hsrdware failure and the warranty must have to apply in this case because my phone is until in warranty I think that this problem its hardware from the first day and this message its like. Warning that something isn't right?
I will try again with Motorola warranty to replace the phone
Regards
Hello guys.
I need help on rooting my Asus Zenfone Selfie (ZD551KL). I have followed this tutorial:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/root-asus-zenfone-selfie-zd551kl-z00t-t3443595
I came across 2 problems. First problem is regarding the oficial ASUS bootloader unlocker tool. My phone came with Android 6 installed. I first tried to install the app on Android 6 and the app crashed. So after searching I discovered this tool is for Android 5.
So I downgraded to Firmware UL-Z00T-WW-51.15.40.1582-user (Android 5). Then I installed the unlocker app (UnlockApp_1211_ZD551KL), now the app did not crash. It did open, i clicked on agree, then I pressed the blue button to unlock device.
It asked me something about device PIN (you did not insert PIN to verify device, are you sure want to unlock).
I click ok then it reboots. However the ASUS logo screen did not change to white. I have adb installed (and fastboot tools), so whenever i check fastboot oem device-info it shows that my phone is still locked. It`s like the unlocker tool does not work.
Second problem is when flashing TWRP Recovery. I downloaded the last twrp from official site (https://dl.twrp.me/Z00T/), and I was able to successfully flash it:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
According to twrp site, I typed fastboot reboot but before clicking on enter it says you need to hold the key combo to enter recovery mode (which in my phone is volume down + power). So I do this, however, it keeps looping and blinking on ASUS logo, I stay more then 15 minutes but it does not do nothing. I then released the power and kept holding only volume down. Same thing, just stuck on ASUS Logo.
So then I release all and it boots normal to Android.
So my 2 problems are: unlocker tool is not working and I can`t enter twrp recovery even after successfully flashed it.
Please help me guys!!!
No one has any ideas? I tried this method:
asus-zenfone.com 2015 05 one-click-root-for-zenfone-series.html
But this did not work. My phone continues as it is, no root access no bootloader unlocked.
Please anyone can help me?
I was trying to flash modified recovery image using magisk after that my phone is dead almost.
My phone don't boot in to android. I can't charge my phone because I get message on the beginning
my system is moddifyed my phone shut down automatically after 5 seconds, also i can't unlock bootloader via fastboot i get information "unlock operation is not allowed" .
I have Leeco 650x with mtk helio x27.
I only flashed modified recovery in magisk after that I disabled usb debug and oem unclock. after restart my phone I can't unlock my bootloader and I can't continue bootup to android. All I need to do is restore somehow original recovery.
But how to do that without unlocked bootloader in my situation?
I try to flash new Rome using flash tool but I have error 0xC0030003
Is here any powerful person to solve the problem.
Hello all,
I recently picked up a ulefone armor 2s and was attempting to root it and ended up bricking my device... i followed a guide for flashing the 2 variant not the 2s. I found a stock rom and ended up flashing it and got the device back to working status. I do want to root my device with twrp but i am unable to flash it because there is no bootloader on the device at the moment.
Powering up the device i get a message that says device is in a red state i am not sure what that means. I have found a copy of trwp that is corresponds to my chipset and kernel and want to flash it. Attempting to enter download mode or recovery just gets me to a black screen.
I have tried to flash the device using adb, adb doesn't detect my device. I have all the proper drivers, usb debugging is enabled and is oem unlocking.
Cpu-z says that i have an unknown bootloader and when i try to access it nothing happens
Is there a way to put a bootloader on it?
Thanks
-Malice
I am currently trying to install LineageOS on my phone. I personally have never unlocked or reinstalled a new operating system on my phone. I looked on some XDA forums for some guides and i found one and followed the steps. I unlocked my phone and I installed a custom TWRP because I was trying to downgrade the phone back to android 11. Once i was done flashing the file to the phone and rebooted it doesn't boot anymore and only gives me a booting screen for a few seconds after I hold down the power and volume up button for a few seconds nothing else works. I have use the MSM tool and put my phone into EDL mode and it detected the phone with a black screen. Every time I use the tool it works till about 18% then it gives me a Sahara communication failed error and then my phone gets out of EDL mode.. I installed all the drivers needed on my PC and used multiple USB 2.0 slots but it still fails. Any help would be appreciated.
There are warnings in the TWRP thread for the N200 that it is broken and should not be flashed.
I have written an easy to follow guide here to downgrade to A11 with Fastboot Enhance.
Unfortunately, now that you have used MSMTool on the phone, it is now bootloader LOCKED. This tool should be the last resort only if you are already hard bricked. You could have gotten the phone into fastboot if either boot.img was still intact and re-flashed the rom with a still unlocked bootloader. The phone will change slots after so many failed boots.
Now that your boot loader is locked, the only tool that can modify the phone is MSMTool. If you can get into Recovery, do delete user data and try again.
Otherwise, you will need to get an RMA and send phone back to OP.

Sorry I should have written more details but I currently have a hard bricked device. It will not boot and It failed to boot like 20 times. It will not enter fastboot or even get past the logo when you first turn it on. I did use MSM tool after it wasn't letting me into fastboot. Thanks for the help and I will send it back.
