Hello
I have got a big question...
I unlock bootloader ,only!
But after I installed Titanium Backup saw this...
No System ROM...
What is it ?
Anyone have this small place only 7Mb..
How can I get back bigger place?
Please help...
It's the same for everyone. And there's nothing you can do about.
If there were space you wouldn't able to do anything as it's permanent read only.

you can use many apps which need root access. Just search google for that.
But for testing whether you have root access or not, just download an app called titanium backup form the market. When you open the app, it says "root: OK" .. if not, it says "root access denied" or something like that. Hope this helps
great video, great song too, but next time turn off the music, could make it hard to concentrate for some people

I really have no Idea about that dude !! coz I bought an unlocked x10 paying the full price ..
But I guess you can remove the branding by the debranding tutorial which was posted in the forums long back.

If you follow this rooting procedure you will end up with generic (debranded) UK R2BA020 ROM on your phone

Hello guys,, I'm using the Xolo X1000 Intel based phone running Android 4.1.2. I rooted it recently (but being a newbie, didn't take proper system backups or anything).
I tried some root apps and now both my soft keys as well as the notification bar have disseapeared.. I understand that this is to do with the Systemui.apk.. My question is: How do I fix this?
If it possible to use the systemui.apk from any other phone then please tell me. ( And posting the same would be heavily useful)
Please, someone help me..
uhmm, if u used apktool it takes a backup of the apps you're about to decompile so if ppl like me and you forget ,it helps

Um, I didn't mod anything by myself.. I used some software called Softkeyz, which botched up the systemui..
Well, I got the problem resolved.. I guess this thread can be closed now.. This is a valuable lesson that you shouldn't mess with stuff unless you know exactly how it works!

I got the systemui.apk from a fellow phone owner. Replaced it and then everything was working fine.
I believe that the file is still hosted on one of the threads about our phone. Just search for the phone and you'll find it here.
Imagine enabling Pattern or Security Pin on your android phone and then you forgot it completely, most will have to reflash stock just to be able to use your phone again. So I decided to make flashable zip file, just place the zip file on your internal sdcard, flash via CWM. After flashing you may still see Pattern or Pin windows, but this time you could enter any Patter or Pin to unlock your phone. Press thanks if this is useful.

I think yes, it will work on other device too, and on all stock rom because it just a script to remove some system/data things...for CM it's hard, but try it and let the developer know
You probably saved a few lives mate. Thanks a lot!

So I got this phone, rooted and installed Resurrection Remix.
I noticed that the memory is full but it should not be.
Attached are the screenshots of storage.
As you can see the internal storage takes up about 5 gb.
Someone can tell me what is the problem?
Thanks guys!
This is an app for partition management but I don't know what to do.
