Hi,
At some point I've tried removing some bloatware system app from my Chinese Reno 10x. I followed the guide to remove them with adb.
I successfuly removed them, but some stuff wasnt working correctly so I decided to reinstall them ALL back with adb.
At that point, the oppo ID was not showing up, the photos app is broken. Tried reseting system apps with the built in reset and also install the official rom through the recovery, all no use.
Anyone have any idea how to recover the oppo ID or what could be wrong and possibly any remedy for the problem?
Thanks

Hey
So this old i9000 phone came with some Horrible bloatware I wanted to get rid of.
I flashed a stock Rom with Odin, (I've done it many times before on a different i9000)and Wiped Data and Cache afterwards, And 3 different Roms give me this problem:
When the phone finally initializes, Everything keeps Stopping unexpectedly. I've tried to get to enabling ADB to maybe view the logcat but I can't even get to the settings.
I did notice in the recovery mod an error that said something about System/CSC/CEL/system not being accesible (And i'm surprised it's still there after 3 flashes, CEL being the CSC for the bloatware company)
What do I do?
Currently on Stock rom with stock recovery.
Edit:
Okay, I have managed to race through the crashes, Launch the Home app, and enable ADB... so we have that now... "ADB devices" Shows its connected.
Edit2:
They all crash with "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:" Right now Home screen is working but anything i try to run crashes
Edit3: It's like the old Gmail account is HARD CODED to it, What the hell? 3 rom flashes and countless factory reset, The account is still there, I cannot get rid of it.
Long story short i deleted my data/app file(accidentaly). Sony xperia S android 4.2.1 i think... Dont ask how that happened. So right after i deleted it by mistake everything started crashing many apps stopped working. Immediatly after doing that i restored a restore point and rebooted. As you would expect my phone is password protected, but when i klick the password slot id doesnt show the keyboard nor the option to change keyboard because i was using swift key keyboard. Now i cannot enter my phone, so i think that i should do s factory reset but i cant do that. I know that i saw a factory reset option on the sony software updater on my pc because i wanted to update my phone. Also when i tried to root my phone i could not flash it some broken driver issue (was not able to fix) so i finally rooted it with the root tool kit. Well please help me with this. Also i assume that the restore point didnt work. Please help :crying: :crying:
Hmm. So you deleted your /data/app folder and most of the apps are gone? Whoops! lol And you are rooted. Do you have a custom recovery? I'm assuming so since you said you tried to restore a backup, is that correct? It would probably just be easiest to factory reset in recovery as that will remove the password and then when it boots, you can restore the keyboard app. Other option is trying to remove the password in recovery (has to be custom) with adb commands as you won't be able to while booted due to the password.

Well the thing is that im not near a pc for the next few days, but i have a tablet which has the device input to usb output cable. So i was wondering if theres a app that turns my android tablet into a keyboard for my phone. Ive been looking but only found bluetooth and wireles keyboard wich wont do me any good since my phone is locked. Also is there an app that could hack my phone since its rooted.
Pretty sure you're out of luck without the PC.
Sent from over there...
I have an obscure cheap offbrand phone and have been trying to root it for 3 years to which I at last managed to root it with Kingroot, which up to recently, didnt used to work by rooting it (nothing did). So I have root access, its a step in the right direction but ultimately I'm trying to flash a custom rom like cyangwin.
The problem is 2 things, my phones bootloader is weird, its like its been stripped of everything and does absolutely nothing. Fastboot tools finds it but all attempts at any kind of interaction just cause it to hang with "..." indefinitely. Anytime I fastboot I almost always have to take battery out and re-insert it as theres no way of leaving fastboot.
The other problem is I deleted all the garbage apps that came with my phone which caused Google services like playstore to crash so I decided to reformat and re-root my phone but the recovery didn't recover my phone, it only formatted 2 folders /data and something else so I now have a stable phone but is void of all Google services including play-store but all the garabage apps are still missing so thats a plus. Also the recovery left all my setup and configuration as-is like wifi passwords which I found odd for a factory reset.
I adb installed several root apps like RomToolkit and am just trying to figure out what to do now and how to proceed from here. I have a rooted phone, is stable, void of all garbage apps and google apps, services, and the like including playstore. I want to flash a rom and have no fastboot to work with. Any help as to where I can go from here? Is there no way I can just brute force it since I have root filesystem access? Maybe replace fastboot with one that works as expected?
Hei Guys, Good Evening,
Just had a quick question. I recently got a brand new fake "Samsung S8+", it runs on an Mt6580 processor, and android 6.0.1, kernel vs. 3.10.0. I rooted it as soon as it came, with King root no problem. However, once I had root access I went ahead, and deleted the stock browser which I assumed would just trace all my logins and stuff online. This created a myriad of problems: I now get the "Unfortunately X has stopped working" notification for every single app I try to open that needs Internet access. Rendering the Phone close to useless. If anyone has the same phone, could you please upload the apk of the stock browser for me, so I can get my Phone back? Or supply an alternate solution.
Things I've Tried:
1. Turning it on and Off (didn't work)
2. System Restore/Wiping Cash (didn't work)
3. Putting in custom boot loader and installing custom rom (No custom boot loaders work, and 'easy magic twrp' does not recognize my phone as mediatek device)
4. Installing Custom rom using ADB (doesn't work, cant pinpoint the reason)
I have searched the entire Internet, and also tried to make other browsers my stock browsers, nothing works.
Really appreciate your Help,
Jan
Hey all,
My phone updated today and ever since I cannot move past the initial lock screen. When unlocked, the UI appears to crash and send me back to the lock screen. My pin code works for turning the phone off, restarting the phone and putting it into emergency mode, which indicates some sort of UI crash.
Because this is a new account I can't post a link to a video of the issue directly, but the YouTube video code is: 8ZhlH-Tt-NU
I have tried the standard fixes like wiping the cache partition and booting into safe mode, but these don't seem to make any difference. Unfortunately I never logged into my Samsung account on this device, so their 'Find My Mobile' service is not an option. I am however signed into my Google account on the device and it does have wifi/network enabled.
The phone is running PPR1.180610.011/G965FXXU2CSA8
On the phones internal memory is a bunch of photos from a recent trip to Japan, I'm a fool for not backing these up sooner but I would hate to lose them.
Has anybody experienced anything like this before, and is there any way for me to get back into the phone, or atleast recover the photos that I took?
Thanks!
Edit:
One potential route out of this I can see is sideloading the same or a subsequent OTA update using ADB to hopefully fix the issue. Unfortunately despite some digging I can't find any updates that will allow installation from: PPR1.180610.011/G965FXXU2CSA8
If anybody has any information on this specific firmware version (Is it beta 3? beta 4? ect.), its installation path and where files relating to it may be listed/hosted it would be appreciated. Also how disasterous would it be to take a mismatched OTA upgrade and modify the metadata to allow it to be sideloaded onto the phone? I assume this would almost certainly break the OS completely but I'm not too sure.
You can try to flash your firmware again with ODIN, but with the HOME_CSC (Important!)

Thanks for the reply Profi I had no idea using HOME_CSC would retain user data. I have tried flashing a few different versions of Pie (wish HOME_CSC) using Odin but with no luck, every time the phone boots I have the same problem. Do you know if there is a sure way to downgrade to Oreo while retaining user data? I have seen a few posts of people attemping this and getting stuck in bootloops, eventually requrining them to factory reset.
To give a final update on this. I attempted the Oreo downgrade, upon reboot the phone was stuck in a bootloop so I updated to Pie again. When the phone booted I tried the pin code as quickly as I could, and after some glitchy graphics on the screen it unlocked. From here I turn on the stay awake while plugged in feature in the developer options and managed to transfer all my data over to PC.
I don't believe it was the firmware changes that actually made any difference, because any further attempts to put my pin in, to remove the pin code for example, failed and cause the same crashing behaviour.
All data is recovered, I have factory reset the phone and all appears to be behaving as normal again. If anybody stumbles upon this with the same issue, all hope is not lost, but unfortunately I was unable to determine a realiable way to overcome it. It seems in this case it was just dumb luck.
Thanks for the assistance.
