Hello, I recently switched to a custom rom (evolutionX based on android 10). Everything works fine but idk how, now the audio output is only on the top speaker of the phone. So far it was working correctly from the bottom but not anymore and I can't find where I can switch that. Does anyone know how I could do that ?
i think restart phone
I had the same problem

Have you flashed capps or using V4A or maxxaudio ?
Hi guys!
Have someone met the same problem as me? its so frustrating. im always having problems with the official miui rom or some of our beloved developer rom. Either it doesnt save the bluetooth info in my car (ie everything i switch on the car, i need to rekey in the password) or the bluetooth just switch off every few secs..
Perhaps I havent tried all the roms, but can someone tell me which rom is working for the car bluetooth? would really appreciate it!
I'm using sMIUI 7.0.8 stable because of the Xposed compatibility and works fine with my car (Toyota) and the other ones from my job (Nissan).
I heard that Stable 7.0.6.0 is the best version for bluetooth. Some people have problems with 7.0.8.0 and 7.1.3.0
Yeap, Stable 7.0.6.0 has no problems
I have this problem with all miui roms on my redmi note 2 prime.

It's working win I use a cyanogen mod.....
I could never get it to work on my car (BMW) with any CM or AOSP based ROM. However, in all the miui ROMs I have used, bluetooth works fine. I am currently on SlimMIUI V7.1.3.0 (stable) - see http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-2/development/rom-slimmiui-dev-stable-t3296594
Bule's CM ROM works fine for me on BT. All the other CM ROMs crashed when connected to my car.
Bules ROM worked fine for a few days but BT is now crashing when it connects to my car.

Build 11 (number 2) here: http://en.miui.com/thread-194162-1-1.html
I also recently learned that flashing modem P37 may fix all the CM ROMs. I haven't tried it yet, though.
Thanks. Presumably this means that any CM ROM that is based on Bule will also work? It doesn't seem that Bule is developing his ROM anymore (or perhaps he is doing it in another place?).

BT on Bule's ROM is now crashing on connection to my car.
I have tried 4 CM ROMs now and BT crashes on all of them. I have even tried the suggested P37 modem cure but it doesn't help.
Looks like I'll have to go back to MIUI.

Bule's ROM worked fine for a few days and then crashed when I tried to make a call. I had to restore the phone to get it working again as a reboot wouldn't fix it.
I then installed P37 and the BT wouldn't work at all.
Wow! Seems that we are back to square one then...

Unfortunately so - for me, anyway. Looks like I'm going to have to go back to MIUI.
The problem seems to occur mostly when sharing contacts. Music etc is OK on Bule but after several days it just crashed when I was making a call. I dunno if it was the call making procedure set it off or if it just happened.
It seems like all CM ROMs have some BT issue.

Yeah, pity really, CM or stock Android is SOOOOO much better than MIUI.

I don't have any connectivity problem in my miui ROM.
Bluetooth is one connection of your device.
Has anyone been able to get V4A to work on this device. I had working when I first got this phone, but I haven't been able to since flashing a different rom. I don't remember which rom I was using when I had it working. I've tried every rom here (SlimKat, CM 11, CM 12.1, stock) that I could find and each time V4A refuses to install because of a bad busybox install, but busybox works just fine.

Thanks for the reply. I did manage to get it working on CyanogenMod, but I'm having issues with it. What is XM? Would you possibly know how to get it to work on stock?

I used ViPERAudio 5.4 Stock.zip from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/viperaudio-viperatmos-3-8-sq-driver-t3289075 at least on 5.1.1 on the HTC desire 610. XM is good.
Viper
Running Slimkat on my 610 and had no problems installing or running Viper.

Bluetooth doesent work for me either. Couple of minor bugs that are aggravating, but it completely turned it from turd with stock rom into a decent phone. I was shocked at the diff. I have a CM12 running on my 601 and it turned a good phone into crap. Had nandroids from right after my 1st root and twrp install stored in two differnt locations and both were lost.

Stock is working great for me! Viper4Android, Dolby Atmos, AND bluetooth works. No freezing or lagging. Someone posted a TWRP backup of stock and that's what I'm using. Normally I wouldn't need bluetooth but a friend of mine gave me a bluetooth speaker with AMAZING quality and I use it when I have to walk to or from work. Too hot to be wearing headphones for 3 miles.
Today my moto E just running fine but suddenly sound is not coming through the speakers. Sound is fine with earphones though . I dirty flashed the ROM still No luck . Plz help urgently:crying::crying:

Actually it's not an rom issue it's a hardware issue just try to put some pressure on bottom where speaker is located.
Similar problem with me when there was water damage. Drying it solved the problem.
In case there was no such thing, try hitting it to check for any loose connections
Hello I'm having problem with my device , I have sound issue in which I can't seem to fix even reflashing MIUI 9. So the story goes like this, I'm running Pixel Experience 8.1 and flashed AGNi Kernel 13.0 on it , I did backed up the stock kernel and after trying it out for months I decided to restore it back to the stock one and the issue happens , I tried flashing the stable MIUI 9 on it through MiFlash but it didn't fix the problem:crying: , any help there guys? thank you in advance!

There's a sound when I plug the earphone , I'm pretty sure that AGNi kernel is the problem here

May be u have jack stuck issue like me.
Phone always stays in earphone mode by default.
I m using Aex pie with audio jack fixed kernel.
If u need quick fix now then install Lesser Audio switch from playstore. U can forcefully put phone in speaker mode using this app.

Is that audio kernel came with the AEX's stock kernel? Or did you flashed it manually? (Separate zip)
