Hi all,
I inherited a "Cloudio TV" box, originally meant for Cloudio IPTV service, which can't even be activated now because the service is dead.
I don't know what the hardware is, but on the bottom it says "Internet Smart OTT Model HDM5". The user manual is there: https://usermanual.wiki/Skyworth-Digital-Technology/A6
If I do a full reset here’s what I get: https://i.stack.imgur.com/raZRi.jpg
Whatever choice I make I get to the activation screen: https://i.stack.imgur.com/uztZ8.jpg
Is there a chance that I could flash a new firmware on this box?
PS: sorry for the not-clickable links, as I have under 10 posts I'm not allowed to post any URL.
Any help appreciated.

hi
I bought prevents this smartphone, after rooting, I noticed that the connection would jump, after some research I read the router manual for specific devices that the mac address must be in some range of values, so it must be changed on Android .... following the procedure of the lg p500 does not change ... what can I do?
thanks
anyone can help me? please
Help is subject to someone on-line actually understanding your question and having an answer .

The mac address for each and every network device is embedded into the device.
So there are 3 possibilities:
The wifi chip in your SGSII is faulty and is telling the O/S the wrong details - send it in for repair.
The Android O/S has corrupted and is reporting the wrong mac address - reset the phone to factory settings (wiping everything) or flash with a wiping ROM. If still unresolves send in for repair.
The phone is stolen and you are trying to hide its true identity from being traced - no help from this site.
Dear all,
I just want to make sure that my vodafone LTE S3 is ready to be given back to vodafone shop (sim card is not recognized at all, either some kind of lock or simply broken). vodafone employer came to us showing us the s3 saying "just want to show you the color". now i figured out that the box was already open when he came to us....
got phone yesterday but never tested phone function before rooting. used CF root with CWM and later also CF auto root to get back stock recovery. also resetted flash count. never flashed anything else, especially no other image. just did these two root options.
my questions:
- after final root with CF auto root I used Triangle Remove and Downloader showed count of zero, binary "Samsung Original" and system "Samsung Original". But after resetting phone (wipe in recovery console) it shows system in downloader "custom" (binary is still samsung...flash count still zero "no"). Is this normal?
- is recovery console the original one?
- am i good enough to go back to vodafone with this?
thank you to everyone!

Ok so i got myself a Goophone i5
I wanted to use a GiffGaff sim in the phone (runs on 02 network) but the Goophone only says no service. I checked the APN settings to find the default was for 02 and not GiffGaff. I edited the settings to the ones i could find for GiffGaff but still got no service.
I messaged the seller he told me i would need to root the phone with a program called vroot
I downloaded the root tool and connected my goophone to usb but in the video it says to turn on debug but i don't have that in settings on my goophone. So i tried to connect the phone anyway with the root tool but the tool gives a error on the left side of the program with USB in red and some chinese letters
I would post pics of the error but can't as a new member of this site and need 10 posts first.
Im just trying to get the phone working on GiffGaff network, Do i need to root the phone for the settings to work ?
Again sorry if posted in wrong section new to this stuff and just needed a little help please.
Many Thanks
Ian

Simple question - how/where do I find my device ID?
I have the WiFi version - SGP712 so there is no IMEI ... and on the Sony support website it asks for an ID to register.
It offers the helpful advice:
HOW TO FIND THE DEVICE ID OR IMEI NUMBER
For Wi-Fi tablets, search for “Identification number” in the relevant User guide and follow the instructions.
So from their site I downloaded the User Guide - although the user guide I got was for the LTE SGP771 ... and searching for "identification number" just tells me how to get the IMEI ... which I can't as I have the WiFi version.
Any ideas/help?
Hi,
Try an app called "Xperia Service Menu"
or read my guide (link below)

Hi, did either of those suggestions work for you? I'm trying to unlock my Z4 Tablet (WiFi) too, but keep hitting dead ends. Sony's developer site is down now. And I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to do with an imei, which I can't find for my device.

Hey, I don't know if you still frequent these forums, but I'm trying to follow the steps you've mentioned. I'm running into a few problems. I, too, have the wifi Z4 with a blank space under IMEI. Also, the sony's developer site is looking kind of funky now and won't load properly.
So, am I just screwed, now? I can't find a direct way to unlock the bootloader and install something like lineage os. If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

No - you just have to find the ID. Either in the service menu or under device info.
My Z4 wifi battery is dead - so I can not tell you where to look exactly. Sorry.
But I have found it in 2015 and you will find it in 2022 too.

Hi, and thanks so much for even replying.
Maybe it had someone to do with me testing Google's VPN, but that site refused to load properly for me, all yesterday. Laptop or phone. But yeah, I see it, now.
Unfortunately, I downloaded a phone app to dial the code in and a different app, mentioned earlier here, which also got me to service menu. Got as far as selecting the IMEI, but the popup just said "IMEI" and nothing else.
I pulled the sim tray and there's a piece of plastic you can pull out, but it's got nothing to do with the IMEI.
Feels like I'm THIS close, lol

You know what? I think my sim tray actually stuck. I can insert and remove the microsd card just fine. The only other thing that comes out is a small clear plastic/ laminated thing with "model sgp712", a barcode, then some other numbers. None of which say IMEI before it. Otherwise, the actual tray didn't come out. There's a tiny button I can push, but that turns the whole thing off.
I've bought that cheap chinese device, is ""branded"" as D35 pet tracker, unfortunatly it does not work but I think that it's a configuration (APN) issues and not a device fault.
From the beginning:
- The device does not connect via gprs but is possible to call the device
- Connected to the PC is recognized as a mediatek serial device, after some tries i've found that it responds to AT commands, unfortunatly not all... And unfortunatly not the ones that are gprs (2G) related...
- After some search I've found that the board is a Gainstrong Oolite S1 (Based on MT2503), I've contacted the manufacturer but at any question the answer is a brochure of other products (why I'm supposed to be interested on the new S3 board if there is no support for the S1)...
- That board is suitables/used also for smartwatches so that thread can be also usefull for who get that cheap devices
- Following threads for similiar devices i've read that manufacturers changes/personalizes/delete default at+commands and the only way to get that is by unpack firmwares ("d35" manufacturer is unknown, board manufacturer does not give answers )
- Following the steps on another xda thread i've succesfully extracted the firmware
- NOW, how can I decompile/unpack the obtained firmware files? Has anyone heard about custom firmware for that board?
Thanks
Set APN with command "APN,apnname, username, password#" (send by SMS without quotes). Username and Password are optional.
Hi, I know this is an old thread, but did you manage to get your D35 tracker working. I am struggling to send the APN settings.
Thanks
