Hi there. Hope someone can help me.
I have a Kyocera Dura XE (flip phone running a build from Android 5.1.1?) that I'm trying to unlock the boot loader & root.
I've installed the proper drivers from Kyocera's site and it seems like the device is recognized by windows in device manager now. But am having trouble to boot the device into fastboot. I can reboot the bootloader with ADB, but all it gets me to is a reboot of the device. Fastboot just keeps waiting on the device, which reboots to normal.
Any advice on how to get this decive into Fastboot to unlock the OEM bootloader?
Thanks!

Hello everyone.
I have an HTC Hero (GSM) that:
1) Cannot boot at all, it is just showing the HERO logo
2) Cannot enter bootloader, it shows a red exclamation mark
3) Pressing trackball+back+power it can enter fastboot where it displays:
HERO CVT SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-1.76.0007 (HERO10000)
MICROP-010f
TOUCH PANEL-SYN0104
RADIO-6.35.15.11

FASTBOOT USB
<VOL DOWN> HBoot Mode
<MENU> Reset Device
When I connect it to the pc, it finds it as an HTC device but the "adb devices" command gives me nothing.
I am little dissapointed as whatever I have tried was pointless. And the problem is that I bought it from ebay not knowing that it does not work...
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
Thank you all in advace.
I managed to find the device in fastboot, typing fastboot devices.
But when I try to flash a new recovery I get the error "Failed (remote: not allowed)" ...
So I'm stuck... with only access to fastboot...
Perhaps You could try applying RRU, that could help i think.
BUT I'm not sure, so please research this subject
Hope You get Your hero working

Thanks for your reply. I am looking into it now..
I found the solution!
Downloaded the RUU (ftp://xda:[email protected]_2.73.405.5_WWE_release_signed_NoDriver.exe) and while in fastboot usb run the wizard!
And the hero is working again!
I have a similar issue - PLEASE HELP
Hi,
My wife's UK GSM T-Mobile G2 has also developed a similar issue where, on boot it just hangs at the G2 touch splash screen. it did have villianrom on it but it now no longer boots.
I have managed to get it into fastboot where I can talk to it via the sdk but dont really know what to do from here to get it working. I tried to get the official RUU update from HTC and apply that but just get a USB connection error after clicking the .exe. I cant run any adb commands only fastboot commands.
I cannot even access the custom recovery. I think what has happened is somehow an update to the hboot has occured OTA and the phone can no longer run unsigned code. I think this as the hboot says S-ON which from doing reading indicates that the phone cant run unsigned code. (I've also tried to flash the amon-ra custom recovery via fastboot and it fails with an signature verify fail error also indicating this.)
The wife says she received a blank email and went to delete it and thats when the problem occured Is there any way for me to flash signed code to it via fastboot USB and if so, where can I get the files from?
Really desperate as the mrs is now without her phone!
Thanks in advance
Should I be able to find my adb device while my phone is only booting to HBOOT 0.93.0001?
Been stuck on this for days...and it's killing me!
PS. When I plug my phone in to
PC it says "Android ADB interface installed" "Ready to use"
But when I cmd the adb to find devices "adb devices" it shows blank
P.S. Phone: HTC Desire
Unrooted
S-ON
Unable to boot, can only get to HBOOT.(so cant turn debugging on)
Trying to get a goldcard to flash a new rom and see if i can unbrick
Reason for unable to boot is - It had been rebooting itself for weeks, slowly getting worse, until now, when I cant get it booted at all.

adb won't work when you are in bootloader (It won't work until Linux is up). "fastboot" will work over USB in bootloader->Fastboot.
I believe RUU will work on fastboot mode.
I've had this phone for about a good 4 months now, was getting bored so i decide to unlock the bootloader, root, and install a new rom. Then i heard youwer able to activate the HTC logo button to wake and sleep your device with using a different kernel. tbaldens kernel v3.6. I have TWRP recovery installed with trickdroid as my rom. After i ran threw all the procedures to flash in Aroma installer. My phone won't turn on, when i connect it to my computer it shows up as a MTP device. When I do get it to power on its stuck at the "quietly brilliant" screen. cant get into recovery to restore from back up. PLEASE HELP! SOLDIER DEPLOYED!!!!!!!! dont have the means of sending it in. Any suggestion. Mac is my primary means of rooting. windows 8 drivers are kinda funky:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
If you have access to a Windows 7 PC, then download the RUU for your device. Next, relock your bootloader (fastboot oem lock) Next step, if you have bootloader access to your device, then you can go into fastboot (make sure it says fastboot USB). Open a command prompt, and type in fastboot oem rebootRUU. You're in RUU mode, where you can run the RUU and reset everything back to stock.

Ahhhh thankfully i was able to get into my bootloader and flash my recovery! but thanks for the reply bro
Hello. My HTC EVO 3D is Stuck in bootloop, can only access bootloader, no recovery, since it's my friends phone, i didn't have the drivers installed, and now that it's stuck in bootloop, i can't even recognise and install drivers properly, so ADB fastboot, and mocking the phone from there is out of question. Is it done for? :/
No, if you can access bootloader, then you can fastboot. Need info about bootloader, is locked or s-off? What version is hboot?
Here is a picture of bootloader screen: Any ideas what to do?? My computer recognises it as a usb hub, not ''others'' and i tried installing the driver manually, but it failed.
I accidentally deleted my OS while trying to factory reset my HTC One M9 and now i am having a really hard time trying to flash a custom ROM. My bootloader is locked and i would like to unlock it, however, i am finding this task to be really hard especially being new and all to flashing custom ROMs.
The command "adb devices" successfully identifies my phone when it is in TWRP recovery but when i run the command
"fastboot oem get_identifier_token", i am stuck in "waiting for device"
I am getting really frustrated, someone kindly assist me.
