Can you tell exactly which version LineageOS you tried? (and its source)
And also if you using TWRP, what version do you have?

CWM Recovery Update Epic Fail
Hey people's I'm hoping someone can help me work this one out cos its doing my head in and I'm not real popular at home today... last night I attempted to update my partners CWMR from 5.0.2.8 to 6.0.4.4 on his Huawei Y201 Pro (U8666E-51) unfortunately I kinda failed spectacularly... not only did the new version not take, but afterwards I couldn't get the backup to restore. It got as far as /datadata before erroring out. (Whoops) I have since managed to successfully updated to CMWR 6.0.4.4 and install cyanogen 10, but nothing works right anymore and all his system apps keep force closing, along with parts of the OS is there anything I can do besides buy him a new phone? I have tried everything I can think of, including flashing a stock ROM, but nothing has worked... I would really appreciate any advice... Thanx <3
kernal
i am using kitkat for huawei u8666e or y201 pro one bug is found sim card cannot be detected can you please tell me how can i shift kernal from slim beean 4.3 for this? because that kernal supports sim card...
Thanks
first of all I apologize if I posted this on a wrong sleection or whatever...
I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand i9080L and i resently found that my phone had an update but when i connected to kies it appeared to be none, nor via OTA. so i Downloaded it from Sammobile and flashed the rom using ODIN.
Now the problem is that when i updated to 4.2 my phone started to run really slow and i did a hard reset and deactivated some applications that didnt work properly but the phone still lags, less but does compared to when i had 4.1.
I dont want to go back to 4.1 because when i do i cant use any game because of a graphic problem that its now solved with 4.2 and some other bugs.
I've been trying to find a custom rom for my GT i9080L but i cannot find any.
Do you guys think i can use a Rom for the DUOS version (i9082) and install it with odin?
Any idea?
please help im kinda desperate because of the lack of suppor for this phone.
I realize that these are for the i9082L dual sim model : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-grand-duos/development
But there have been people in various forums reporting the CM or AOSP type roms run on their i9080l fine since the dual sim support for non Samsung roms are tricky to get working right anyway (example: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50659404&postcount=1123 , http://www.madboxpc.com/foro/topic/186437-guia-actualizar-galaxy-i9080l-de-422-custom-a-442-mod/ ). I'd be wary of trying any Samsung based 9082 roms because I have seen people saying that'll brick it (though probably just fixable via Odin).

Hey Guys.
Im new at this, so i wonder if anyone could help me.
I got this old Samsung S2, and i want to have that CyanogenMod 11 Nightlies on it. I havent tryed this before, so what do i need to get this on it??????
Best regards
Alex
The information you provided is not enough .
Do you have any experience in flashing roms ? Is the device unlocked ? which version of android is currently running on the device ?
hi, you need read, read and read and ask, cheers
If it's still running gingerbread then you need to install CM9 at least before jumping to CM11.
Personally I'd install CM9, then CM10, and then CM11.
But before you install any ROMs you'll need to root it and install CWM or TWRP custom recovery.
Hi altogether,
i did google a lot already, even here but I dont find anything which is fixing my issues.
I do have an oneplus x E1001, running a Cyanogenmod 13.0-20160829
Kernel 3.4.0+ (cyanogen)
My issue is, that i want to have a new rom, because the current one is getting on my nerves. but i cant update, which seems to be caused by some old firmware. but how to update if there arent anymore nighty updates available.
I did try it with twrp - which i seem to ****ed up aswell by the 'offical twrp app'...
If you would have some advices or links how to solve my issues i'd be very thankfull.
Cheers,
Nico
