-Why no "Incremental/Delta updates" Support?
->The updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.
-How do I root this ROM?
->We recommend Magisk
-Does this ROM Support Substratum?
->Google killed Substratum support in Pie. You can use it, however, you need to be rooted. We don't support rootless Substratum.
-Which Gapps are recommended?
->OpenGapps and BitGappps
-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.
-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in the beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.
-When Will Be the Next Update?
->No ETAs, please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready by your maintainer. We generally provide monthly updates with the latest security patches and new features.
-Adaway is not working
->Download it from here Adaway
-SElinux Linux mode changer app is not working nor Busy Box installer app is working.
->Everything is good with the sources. You should try other things first and then contact your maintainer.

Yes, yes and yes
Thankx for the quick answer !
You"re THE MAN !
A brazilian showing how it1s done !
Excellent work !
But FP unlock on first boot is not there...
Did you disable voice recognition because of the FM Radio bug ?
Would you be so kind and share with the other teams what you did to get DTV to work ?
Sorry, i'm not using this for a daily driver yet, missing too many customizations ...
But as you add them (as this is yet an Alpha release), would very much consider so.
Keep up the awesome job, man !!!

Thank you, dear friend. I didnt disable voice recognition. If you cannot enable it, probably is a issue of gapps, try anothers.
For DTV, I used perf kernel that can be found in my personal GitHub.
And, yes. AEX have a lot of resources do add yet.
Stay tuned
Thanks again for the feedback !
Voice recognition tried to connect and couldn't; I used the latest OpenGapps package (Nano)...
Do you think i can use this kernel in other Android 10 ROMs ?
Is it presented in a flashable zip for download on your GitHub ?
Also, the Rom passed on Magisk's safety net, but Netflix's installation was banned from Play Store :
And last, FP unlock on first boot also wasn't there... It's missing since the latest Pie builds.
Can't wait for the next updates ! Thank you for your awesome work !

Maybe and only maybe about the safety net stuff you can try flashing that magisk package that fix that stuff. Look for safety net in magisk modules and try em. I remember that one of them(because I remember two packages existed) works flawlessly.

THe ROM PASSES safety net in Magisk ;
Just can't download Netflix app from PlayStore.
There are already some ROMs that allow you to download it without any restrictions.
But thanks for the reply, anyway !
Great work guys this rom is great ive tried 2 other big roms but both seem to be a bit meh.
I see noticeable improvement on performance
the GPS works not well but it works lol, but i never tested stock to compare.
this rom has all i need for a daily driver out of the box.
magisk was needed to get netflix going but that also meant i could drop youtube vanced in magisk mode so bit of a win there.
only strange thing is ambient display not working not complaining, and im not sure hot to log this.
Looking forward to future builds.
Awesome ROM.
Fast.
Gonna use as daily driver.
Thanks for such good ROM.
Is there any chances this is gonna be Official AEX ?

What modded Gcam version, please??
Downloading now just wanted to give a huge thanks to @Keertesh for maintaining 3 ROMs for this device
Is vedio recording working fine in this rom? Bcoz mine not working.
For those who's asking about the camera overall performance, download the modded GC. You can find the link of it on Google. It's not that hard and, as a matter of fact, it will help getting this and other threads more cleaner.
Just an FYI the AEX updates settings is telling me an update is available but its just the latest build which is already installed. I'm guessing it can't read that I already have the latest update installed. Not big deal . amazing rom. Thanks
It doesn't have any setup wizard
I dunno if this is an issue with my device or the rom, but when I have headphones/earbuds connected to the headphone jack, at zero to 50% volume, the audio becomes wavy.
I increased media volume to high ,as I increased speakers sounds odd
Google assistant not working
Camera app constantly crashing
The stock camera app + arnov gcam + camera nx all the camera apps r crashing as soon as i launch them pls help cause i cant use the camera. The camera app i mentioned used to work fine in pixel experience rom
I have the latest build installed but under the update section it says update available the 1857 build on 1/18...bug or is that newer than what I downloaded directly from the site?

->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.
-Does this ROM Support Substratum?
->Yes, full Substratum support!
-Which Gapps are recommended?
->OpenGapps
-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.
-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.
-When Will Be the Next Update?
->No ETAs, please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready by your maintainer. We generally provide monthly updates with latest security patches and new features.

If you end up in a boot loop as a result of installing this ROM, and you previously were using Magisk in the previous ROM before installing this ROM, simply load TWRP and flash Magisk and that should correct the boot loop.

Right, or twrp backup lol
Was curious as the 8.1 firmware flashed to both a & b slots including the bootloader unpacked.
I ended up unpacking the bootloader and flashed the files to slot B which solved booting issues for me
Thanks
how is the Rom installed. I would need a more detailed instructions. I have already tried everything possible. The Pixel Experience Rome works flawlessly. I have already used the LOS 16 instructions but nothing works

You can look at the top of this page and see where we discussed flashing magisk if you're boot looping.
As long as you're wiping everything and then installing ROM, gapps, and magisk if previously installed then it should boot up. You'll have to add your APN to get data to work.

Unfortunately that does not work quite as easy as they say. I managed it. Later I will write a more detailed guide and then everyone will be able to do it. Thanks for your help.

J500F? I can port the ROM in a day or two for it.
I have a j500m.
Quick note for everyone, i flashed the fn revision and i kid you not, that was the fastest first boot i've seen from any custom rom, with less than 5 mins. No signal though, but as i said, i have a m variant, not a fn.
Note to @TechyMan , flashlight quick setting did not work. Not sure if completely borked or not, just an fyi

Thank you for your feedback. In the weekend, I am planning to add the F, H and M variants.
The flashlight problem was because of not correct vendor files (your model is M, and the sensors are for FN).
The kernel may also be the cause - note that I will upload a build for M specifically with all fixed stuff which should work perfectly.

Yes that could work for him but I don't think it would fix all the issues considering some library sensor files are designed for the FN.

@garylawwd Tested with LOS 16 boot.img (january release), successful boot up, but no signal, no detected sim. I agree with the thinking, it was either a kernel issue, a rom issue, or a variant issue. In the end, looks like it was, as @TechyMan explained, a variant issue. Needs the specific lib files for the m to be up and running.
Maybe i didn't notice it last night, but is the boot animation supposed to fill up the whole screen or just most? On the test i just did, only partial screen fill (about 75%).
Checked the first boot time, its about 3-5 mins.

Yes, it's the variant issue. I've seen the j5nlte folder (vendor) and it contains some RIL (telephony) files which explains it.
Also, I've noticed that boot animation on 75% of screen only as well, but I am not sure if it's a bug or this is intended.

-Why no "Incremental/Delta updates" Support?
->The updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.
-How do I root this ROM?
->We recommend Magisk
-Does this ROM Support Substratum?
->Google killed Substratum support in Pie. You can use it, however, you need to be rooted. We don't support rootless Substratum.
-Which Gapps are recommended?
->OpenGapps and BitGappps
-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.
->Download it from here Adaway
-SElinux Linux mode changer app is not working nor Busy Box installer app is working.
->Everything is good with the sources. You should try other things first and then contact your maintainer.

Thank you very much @_undead
Very smooth, but I may have detected a bug, can anyone else confirm?
When I tried to install apps the play store would return to the top of the list each time I pressed install so I would have to scroll through each time to return to the next app in the list. It also doesn't recognise previously purchased apps. Anyone else get the same issue?
Also, is there a way to remove the on screen navigation bar? I have looked but can't find a setting.

1. Google Play thing you're referring to isn't a rom side bug
2. Read the second post carefully

Thank you, understood.
Nice work. Old phone has new life now.
Thanks for trying to keep OP2 from dying
Thank you @_undead
I was thinking of bringing something to the op2 community since it's been dead for a while but since you came up with this initiative, if you need any help regarding servers / storage costs etc. let me know i can handle that.
Thanks !
Hey, what an amazing news that you come back with a wonderfull update !!!!!
I wanted first to thank you about your work, how can we donate, from the rom itself or do you hane another paypal link?
Regarding this android 10 rom, you should 1rt put some advertising from your 6.7 android 9 page on the firt post giving the link to this thread. (Without discord i woul'd know)
Installation
--------------
Regrding the installation I did it from Twrp twrp-3.2.1-0 officiel, this without any difficulties and first boot was long as usual but worked fine.
--> Why should we use the twrp 3.3.1-0 and what version? the fixed recovery_op2_twrp3.3.1-0_test2.img ?
The 2 firt remarks after the clean installation of AospExtended-v7.0-oneplus2-20200226-1246 + gapps 10 android nano + magisk
--> google did not restored my previous installated apps, may be I did not selected the good option, anyway this is not a big deal.
My only bug for now the the Keabord that crash when I try to send an sms --> I changed to google keybord (from the playstore) and it is now working.
The rom is really smoth and work like a charm. I will tel if I notice anything, thank you again for your work!!

You're welcome If you'd like to donate personally to me, you can click on my username and there will be 'Donate to me' option which is linked to my paypal. I'll add this thread's link in Android 9 one, ty for the suggestion.
-I recommend the newer TWRP version just because some people have compatibility issues while flashing with the official TWRP build. Also, some fixes on the source side is always a plus.
-fixed recovery_op2_twrp3.3.1-0_test2.img-yes
-You need to select option to restore backup on the initial boot for you apps to restore.
-I always prefer Gboard personally over aosp keyboard
You're welcome
What about jio Sim?
I know it would be weird asking this but still i want to know (still having some hope)
Hi there,
First of all thank you very much for your time to make our old phone feel new again!
I've installed the ROM and gapps with no problem but the first boot is stuck for like 30 minutes! What can I do?
Thank you!
Even though I added google account, it somehow disappears randomly on its own. Anyone else?
After re-adding google account, problem happens ~30 minutes later, while phone was sitting still..
@_undead
