Hi, maybe some of you can help me. I operate a camera on a gimbal with a wireless HDMI transmitter. The problem is that my M5 (SHT-W09) cannot see the HDMI transmitter in the WLAN settings. A Nexus 7 (2013) can see the device. I include an image which shows what I'm talking about (WLAN list: Nexus at the left is connected to the ZHIYUN_TECH device, M5 at the right does not even list it). My question: what can I do to make the M5 recognize the HDMI transmitter? I have tried many things but have not found a solution. I'd appreciate any help!
I found the solution. The transmitter was running at 5.8 GHz which was obviously not good for the M5. I was able to switch the transmitter to 5.2 GHz and now the M5 sees the device and everything works as it should. This is very good indeed because I alredy feared that my transmitter may be – at least partly – defective because the Nexus 7 saw the device even at 5.8 MHz.
However, if anyone else runs into a similar problem, try to switch your device to 5.2 MHz and it should be fine!

Interested in these three boxes but the specs seem similar with the exception of the Mecool having Kodi 17, TX8 has 32GB internal storage and an extra USB port, and the H96Pro lacks 802.11 ac.
Anyone have a suggestion as to which one of these would be the best one to buy? The small price difference is negligible to me.

I just made the leap myself.
So I can't speak from experience with the latter two boxes, but I recently purchased a TX8 ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01L...rds=QacQoc&dpPl=1&dpID=518FnFtx+gL&ref=plSrch )on Amazon and I love it! Right out of the box, everything works with very minor bugs. The Bluetooth connection works well IF you can get your devices to connect. The launcher/third party connection manager gets in the way of any prompts Android tried to display. Pairing anything that requires a passcode is impossible. I had an older tablet keyboard with its own USB dongle and it works great. The other, bigger, issue is the ability to get OTA updates is still a pipe dream. It said it had it. The function is there, yet it fails to connect to any server it's looking for. It came rooted, so I'll try to sideload something and see if it works. Other than that, this thing rocks! Not a single slow down, buffer, studder, or freeze. Perfect emulator box when paired with two Bluetooth controllers. Hope this helps. Any ideas on fixing my OTA update problem, let me know.
Hello!
I am a newbie here.
I have H96 PRO+ Amlogic S912 Octa-Core TV Box w/ 3GB DDR3, 32GB ROM and I would like to buy a webcam to be able to use it for Skyep too.
I would like to know if the Logitech C930e is compatible with Android 6.x or should I buy the Logitech C920?
If you have other webcam recommendations, please feel free to mention it
Thanks
AFAIK it should not matter as the cam will only be detected as a normal webcam anyway.
I doubt Android has specific drivers for Logitech.
I tired on several Android devices with a USB inspection cam using noname Windows drivers.
The cam worked on all Androids right away but I was for example unable to activate the light.

Not too far right. Not every USB Webcam is supported by Android.
You have to pick a one that is compatible with the Android version you have.
For example, I tried an old USB Webcam Logitech v-ubk45 that has a built-in mic with my box and only the mic worked but the cam was not recognized.
Thanks for that info, will keep in mind.
So far I had problems with all sorts of devices but even cam I connected just worked.
I have a 920 still around in one of my spares boxes, will hook it later today and report back if my box will recognise it.
C920 should work well as long as you have Android 5.x and above
Can confirm, my C920 works fine on the X96 and the Yundoo Y8.
I confirm that logitech c930e works well with Android 6.x
Hi All,
Got a Note 4x running MIUI 8.5.4.0 (NCFMIED) and I'm having a bluetooth issue.
I've got a Pure Highway DAB radio adaptor in my car and whilst I can connect to it via A2DP (and other BT devices) just fine, the Pure Highway has a secondary Bluetooth mode which isn't working. The theory is you download the "Pure Go" app from the app store, launch it, it detects the BT device and pairs from the app rather than by doing it manually. This works fine on a Note 3 I have lying around, does not work at all on the 4X.
I'm in touch with Pure's support folks but they seem stumped.
Q: Are there any bluetooth issues/bugs that I should be aware of that affect discoverability/pairing etc?
Happy to try a later version of a beta ROM but given the hassle I'd rather only do this if there's a fighting chance it might help.
If anyone's aware of Bluetooth bugs in the version of MIUI I have on my 4X I'd be very interested.
I recently purchased a M8S PRO as my android tv box. I upgrade [purchased it] specifically because it supports 5ghz and i thought the wifi would perform better.
However whether Im streaming with the browser or even playing movies off my nas i have latency issues
I believe this is due to the internal wifi chip because i also have a nvidia shield tablet which has none of these issues even if i put it in the same location as the M8S PRO
Should I buy a range extender or a new wifi dongle for it (like this one)?
Does Android support more then one wifi adapter? Will i be able to disable the internal one?
Or should i try a custom rom (i dont see how this will help but maybe im wrong about it being a hardware issue)?
Try various configuration in your router, you can try 20 or 40 mhz bandwidth, maybe disable legacy modes and use AC only, I had issues before with 5Ghz when legacy modes were enabled like A B or G. let me know, as I just purchased this box and im still waiting for it. , also you can check the 2.4GHz band.
regards.
screw these dam things
as far as i can tell the wifi chip in this thing sucks
i put the dam thing right next to the router and its still horrible
topping out at 400-500 kb/s on lan transfers over a minimum presence 5ghz wifi
sorry for late reponse, i was loading lede onto my router and trying other things to fix the issues i have with this device playing items across the lan (via samba)
Hi there. First time post here. I was just wondering did Oppo remove the audio source setting in USB configuration? When I first decided to buy my Oppo Reno 2 i tested it with my portable DAC AMP(Topping NX4 DSD) using the usb-C charging port after turning on the OTG permissions on. After the recent Color OS 6.1 update, I can't seem to connect to my portable Dac Amp. I decided to look into developer mode and under networks, in the usb configuration option audio source is not available. It seemed kind of odd for something like this to happen because I've tested my friends phones like the samsung s20, note 10 plus, huawei mate 30 pro and an oppo r9s(audio source still available) they all work with my dac amp. Do I have to wait for the next update or is there something wrong with my phone? If anyone has found a way to get past this problem any help would be really appreciated. Thank you in advance.
