Ah, well, ART is a new experimental runtime introduced in Android KitKat (Which I'm assuming is the version you're using) Now i'm not entirely sure on how ART works (Someone feel free to correct me) but it basically store's all or most of the app to the system which allows the phone to access it faster compared to the current runtime (JIT/Dalvik) which loads the app Just In Time, every time you load it up.
For KitKat
Make sure to make a backup before you attempt this incase anything goes wrong resulting in your phone not being able to boot.
To enable the runtime, just navigate to Developer Options (If not alread enabled, go to Settings > About Device and scroll down to "Build Number" Tap that 7 times and it should give you a prompt telling you it's been enabled.
From there, navigate back to the settings menu and all the way to the bottom. You should now see a developer options listing. Click it and scroll all the way to the bottom to the "Apps" Category. Tap the option "Select Runtime" this should bring up a menu with the option to switch between runtimes. Now just press "Use ART" and press OK on the warning that pops up. You're phone will reboot and will now reinstall all and optimise all of your apps ready for ART mode. You will not lose any of your app data.

Are you on the latest Google Maps? Comparing Waze to Google Maps, Waze is actually heavier to run.
Yet, Waze is still indispensable because its map accuracy is far superior.

I finally use my Samsung Gear Fit with my LG G3 Marshmallow
The only way that I can do it, it´s using openfit app, beacuse The Fit manager crashes every time I tried.
So you want to use this excellent smart watch, only with openfit, there´s no other way to make it work.
Hi from La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico... Visit as facebook.com/djwero.:good:
hello, just want to share my case.
LG V10 Marshmallow
GF: R350XXU0BOA2
gear fit manager v. 1.92.1110 (this is the only version can work with & not force close)
GearFitInstaller v. 2.9
it's a bit works on notifications like whatsapp, gmail, facebook, you will get the notifications, you can see the message from whom but can't see the message content......not works on calls, alarm and no notification selection for schedule.
it can't be reconnected automatically, i have to off & on the phone's bluetooth myself to make it reconnect. but if i restart my phone, it can't be reconnected until i unpair the gear fit from bluetooth & pair again (data still there).
expecting workable version for full functions
can' connect my gear with gear fit manager app
My zenfone 2 android 6 operating system, i installed gear fit manager software failed "unfortunately Gear Fit Manager has stopped". I have installed some gear fit manager versions like "gearfitmanager_no_crash" and "gearmanager_lollipop51_test_2_signed" but can not connect to gear fit. Please help me, Thank alot.

=> Works with Gear Fit2 and iPhone 7 Plus!
Yes!
Yes! Yes! Yes! I have been waiting for this for at least 3 months.
Great!, thanks for posting.
Installed it on my fit 2 and iPhone 7.
Reset, not full reset though, gear manager discovers the fit 2
What is working, what is not in my config;
Watch faces: only free, but gear designer does upload own designed faces
Sync with Samsung health: working
Notifications;
Text: working
phone: not
Whatsapp : working (default icon)
iOS mail: not
iOS calendar: not
Installed gmail and gmail calendar to try;
Gmail: working
Gmail calendar: working
This covers most of my need, tried several other 3rd party apps with notifications, most do work.
You have to let the gear manager app run, it restores connection to the fit if you are back in range but overnight I lost the connection and had to close and restart the gear manager.
Overal, very grateful , seems that we can expect to fully use the fit2 on iOS
Cheers

Hey guys, I tried to add music tracks with the Manage Tracks - Browser option but it crashes ever time? Did anyone experience the same issue?
Hello,

Have you tryed it ? If yes and it worked for you...could you please give me an example which works ?

Thanks !
Just went for my first run with the gear fit 2 today, came back and synced with the gear manager app, only managed to see the steps count being synced but no running activity was seen in s-health via the app, anyone facing a similar bug? Or is your running being recorded on the iOS app?
Thanks in advance

Hey, you can't add music through the app yet. Not on iOS. But you should be able to do it by connecting your computer to the same wifi and transferring it through your browser. To do that, go to music player on your Gear Fit2, switch to Play From Gear Fit2 mode (tap the phone icon if you're not in that mode), slide up from bottom and select Manage Tracks. Then follow the instructions. It looks very easy. However, it does not work for me. It keeps crashing somehow.

Just found out there is an update for Music Player app on Samsung Store. I will let you know if it is fixed once it's downloaded
update: Nah, still crashes
I have the same problem. It won't crush when WiFi is off, but when I turn it on it still crashes... Waiting for next update, the same problem on S2 after an update, before it was working fine.
Does anyone know if there's a way to make the Schedule/Agenda work?

ARTDeoptimiser - An Android N & O Xposed Crash/Hang "fix"
Introduction:
First things first, I'd like to point out that this app is by no means the optimal solution to the problem I am about to discuss, however it is a temporary solution to those that wish to use it.
Xposed for Android N and above has known issues whereby hooked applications can hang or crash for seemingly no reason at all and there's virtually nothing that us developers can do to resolve
the issue (From a module developers perspective). This is (to the best of my knowledge) in part due to how android performs an optimisation on applications during the installation period
(Dex2Oat) [See Further Reading below].
As an Xposed developer myself these hangs became quite a frequent occurrence and my users would often complain about it, assuming the issue was something on my part or something I could resolve.
As a result I decided to create a module that would force android to install selected applications as "Interpret Only" whereby no optimisations are performed on the app meaning Xposed can hook
into applications and not face the dreaded hangs.
Again, I can't stress enough that this is not a permanent or primary solution to the issue however Rovo himself has said that the optimal fix is not something that is easy to do, so until then I thought
I'd at least offer a "hacky workaround". I'd love to hear from @rovo89 as to whether forcing apps to install as vmSafeMode=true is in fact a "solution".
Note: This app is very much in the EARLY STAGES as I made it in about 2 days and decided I'd at least allow people to provide feedback.
Download:
Check out the Github with an included Pre-Release APK and a brief howto guide in the ReadMe.
ARTDeoptimiser Github
Xposed Repo -> Repository Link
Brief Instructions:
Install Module
Activate in Xposed
Reboot
Open app
Mark which apps you want deoptimised
Backup their data
Uninstall the apps
Reinstall the apps
Restore their data
Always apply this to the App, not the Xposed Module for it.
Further Reading
If you'd like to read up on Rovo's official explanation on the issue, use the link below.
Rovo's explanation
I made the module to try and help out other developers and make the Xposed community a little bit more stable for Android N and above. It is, and always will be, a free application.
Thanks! Giving this a try.

Although I'm not 100% certain, in theory so long as this module is active at the time of update it should allow you to just update your apps normally.
I'll have to test this to confirm it however I'm somewhat confident it will work.

Sorry if this is stupid question, but which app am I supposed to de optimize? The Xposed module apk or the app that the module "tweaks" or both? I.e X Messenger Privacy or Facebook Messenger or both?
Finally Snaptools on Oreo w/o crashes :victory:

I'm not sure about other impacts of vmSafeMode. You might be better of setting "pm.dexopt.bg-dexopt=quicken" (or whatever "pm.dexopt.install" is): https://source.android.com/devices/tech/dalvik/configure#runtime_configuration
Again, this is only a workaround. It means that no AOT compilation is taking place, which means that apps need to be JIT-compiled every time you start them. That surely increases CPU/RAM load, which in turn consumes more battery.
Nice job
I think it's solution create only for using if it's needed (if you got this crashes etc.). If now everything in your rom is OK, you don't need it I think (yet). Cheers.

Thanks so much, my phone is miui9 android 8.0,Art flash back, cannot be used,im chinese, English is not good,I'm sorry.
Hmm maybe it's just me but it looks like Messenger still optimizes sometimes (maybe after restart but I'm not sure).
And yes I followed all the steps. Xposed module is active and .orca is 'deop'.
After removing the OAT folder it works again.
