After a bad Miui flash (Bootloop after almost 30 min)... Proceeded to flash stock ROM... Only to find out I'm in roaming... I can use my phone normally and my carrier isn't overcharging me stuff because to them I'm just a regular user in their coverage area... Thing is now I can only use data if I activate data roaming... I did a second flash of stock rom and problem persists... Any thoughts on what could be and how to solve it?
Edit/Update: Whatsapp ask for a Vietnam number instead of the usual Peruvian one in the first setup screen...
Edit 2: After a 3rd unsuccessful reflash of stock room... Removed the Sim card for an few minutes... Inserted again.. Phone is no longer on Roaming...

Hi
I have this phone for almost two years now.
It worked good up until now, and I don't remember what happened, but the SIM cards don't work anymore, they're recognized, but phone indicates 'No Service'.
Obviously I can't make phone calls or connect to the internet via G3 mobile data.
Here's what the reception signal indicators look like:

Any ideas on how to fix this?
BTW, the phone was complaining about over heating once before it happen, not sure if it was right before that, and thus, can't tell you if it's related.
Any hacking to fix this? Maybe resetting SIM settings to factory default? Anything to check in the internals?
I use Smartfren (a CDMA provider in Indonesia that's transitioning to LTE). I wanted to use its LTE service with my Redmi 3, but I can't - http://en.miui.com/thread-253364-1-1.html (well that's a bit of a guess but the symptoms are exactly the same...)
I want to use that Micro SD slot, and with me not wanting to cut up my SIM card that leaves me with CDMA+EV-DO (at least until I get my bootloader unlocked and flash CM in the hope of seeing the problem solved).
My phone sees the 3G signal, but seems to never be able to connect to the Internet with it. Any ideas?

So, I recently unlocked my X Power to use it on FreedomPop. It works but one problem I keep having is that the Messaging app you need to use for it loses SIP permission.

I turn it on and come back late and it is disabled again. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem with other SIP application on this phone or FreedomPop.
So I figured out that permission doesn't seem to apply on Android 6.0 . I downloaded a older version and it's working much better than it was. Apparently, the updates can break things so I will just use the version I have until it doesn't work.
