- Backup your personal data (Important)
- Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
- Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
- Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
- Flash the ROM + Gapps Zipfile.
- Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
- Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update)
Currently Supported Root Solutions:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine

I have reinstalled it before and it didn't help. I guess I should mention that I installed the Mayhem Unravel 4 OC Treble kernel (https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g5s-plus/development/kernel-mayhem-kernel-t3942444). Could that be the problem or is there a fix from an xposed or magisk module? I need a kernel that can boost my phones performance and battery, and I would really appreciate some recommendations.
I also use Magisk 20.3 with Magisk Manager 7.5.1 and Riru EdXposed (Sandhook) 0.4.6.0.

Mayhem kernel 4.0 is for Pie Roms !
All your problems must come from that.
Wipe everything and install the ROM again (Gapps already included !) .
Then you should be fine !
This ROM doesn't have many features, but is the only one with FM Radio and DTV working for this device so far.
I think we don't have any custom kernel for Android 10 yet.
Hope this could help you.
Good luck !

I didn't even notice that. I will remove it and I hope this was the problem and that it will fix the alarm app. I have been late to school for a couple of days because of this.

I thimk it'll be ok, man.
I'm using Pixys OS as my daily driver, since it has DTV working.

A quick update: I removed the kernel and killed the battery (used it until it shut down) to calibrate it, but when I turned it back on my battery was still limited to 70%. The alarm app is fixed though, so that's a relief.
I have already tried the following which people said is solutions:
Calibrating battery (draining it & charging while it's powered off).
Reinstalling PixysOS.
Removing the kernel (Mayhem Unravel 4).
Performing a factory reset.
Uninstalling all magisk modules (one by one (including Xposed)).
Uninstalling all Xposed modules (one by one).
Uninstalling magisk root completely.
Installing the "Battery Charge Limit" application & limiting it to 99%.
Wiping cache partitions (wiped cache & dalvik in recovery mode).
None of these worked and I have tried all of the at least 2 percent (except for the "uninstalling the kernel" since I didn't notice that it is for Pie). Is there a flashable zip or a magisk/xposed module (or application) that could be a potential fix, or can I fix it by modifying some system files?
Also, speaking of modifying system files, I went through the system files and navigated to "/sys/class/power_supply/battery" which redirected me to "/sys/devices/soc/qpnp-smbcharger-17/power_supply/battery". I went through and viewed the content of some files, and some of them could be a solution to my problem.
(I am just using logic here, and I don't know anything about this stuff. I was hoping you could help me, since you seem to know what you're talking about.)
I went into the following files:
capacity (file name)
58 (inside of the file)
(the value of the file changes every time my battery percentage changes)
charge_counter
1928327
charge_full
3013000
(this is what I meant with logic. The file is named "charge_full" as in the maximum charge the phone can have. Maybe if I change the numbers to something else it could reach 100%.)
charge_full_design
3013000
charge_rate
None/Normal/Fast
(depending if I am charging or not and if I am using the turbo charger which came with the phone)
constant_charge_current_max
2000000
current_now
452420
Then there's a lot of other files in the folder, for example:
flash_active
flash_current_max
input_current_max
input_current_settled
voltage_max
voltage_max_design
voltage_now
and then there's a file named "uevent" which contains the following:
POWER_SUPPLY_NAME=battery
POWER_SUPPLY_STATUS=Discharging
POWER_SUPPLY_PRESENT=1
POWER_SUPPLY_CAPACITY=54
POWER_SUPPLY_HEALTH=Good
POWER_SUPPLY_CURRENT_NOW=374448
POWER_SUPPLY_CHARGE_COUNTER=1859488
POWER_SUPPLY_TEMP=357
POWER_SUPPLY_VOLTAGE_NOW=3800331
POWER_SUPPLY_CHARGE_RATE=None
There's one last thing which I think is strange.
The files "battery_charging_enabled" and "charge_enabled", and that doesn't sound strange, but when I looked inside of them while charging my phone I found that the "battery_charging_enabled" was set to '1' while "charge_enabled" was set to '0'. When I tried to change the 0 to a 1 (after backup of course) it saved, but when I plugged out my charger the "battery_charging_enabled" became a '0' but the "charge_enabled" was unchanged as if that file isn't needed.
I hope that's all information you (or anybody reading this and is willing to help me) need to be able to find a fix. Thank you for reading this extremely long comment/post. I will not waste any more of your time, but I really appreciate that you've spent your time helping me.
Thank you so much.

Well I removed the kernel, but I found out that wasn't the issue. The issue was the Advanced Charging Controller (acc). I removed it, but my phone still wont charge above 70%.

Do you have the original files in the '/sys/class/power_supply/battery' folder? Maybe I could restore them somehow. I will also try to reinstall the OS.
Hi there, I am using the latest build and for some reason the fingerprint sensor doesn't work. If I try to setup a new fingerprint, it read my fingerprint, but I can't use it to unlock my device.
Anyone having this issue?

Flash kernel permissive patcher for now. Device personalization is a matter with source, we need to wait.
first congratulations on your work, your rom is great and apparently without bugs, I managed to root it, but after rooting the twrp I use version 3.2.1r20 does not flash zip files showing the error "updater process ended with error 1" you know how to solve this? ah, i already tried the solution here on xda which is extracting the "boot" image from your rom and flash boot via twrp but it didn't solve it.

Does crDroid Q have all the great options already that Pie had? And do we have to flash any firmware/vendor or can we simply clean flash from any existing Pie rom?
Thanks for your work and this rom :good:
No Vulkan available, can you please fix it like in other Ten Roms ?
Great Rom with look & feel like crDroid Pie. :good:

For a ROM to be called OFFICIAL, the developer needs to build the ROM from source and provide regular weekly updatesand has to stick to the guidelines the developer team have setup.
Like for example LineageOS, the dev can't include a hack or work-around for some bugs in the ROM with a certain device.
For example with the Redmi Note 3, while there was a mod present to fix the flashlight issue, the dev himself couldn't include it in the ROM as it didn't comply with the LineageOS guidelines.
Every developer community, for e.g., LineageOS, RR, DU, OmniRom, AICP, MOKEE,......., have there own guidelines.

I had no problem installing Open_gapps-arm64-10.0-nano-20191006-BETA.zip an was able to setup the tablet without any errors.
Didn't do the SAR thing as I don't need root, as I use the tablet for browsing and watching streams

I flashed it directly with a full wipe, my previous rom was Bootleggers ROM 4.3 Pie and didn't incounter any problems.
It has allot of options just like the pie version, don't know if they are all there but there is enough to choose from.

I don't need root but I tried it for you.
I just tried to install magisk in the normal way and it didn't give any errors.
After it I tested to see if it past safety net and it did.
After that I installed adaway and that requested root like normally and I gave it access.
But when it tried to install the host files it failed.
When I try to read the buildprob with a root file explorer, that works like normally after granting rood.
So maybe adaway needs the sar method, or it doesn't work with android 10 yet.

Go into Adaway's settings and select systemless, then it works fine.
I flashed crDroid earlier and for a 1st build it looks pretty good. It has some of crDroid's options, but not all of them. For example no option for smartbar under navigation and no way to modify recents to have the rambar or at least the clear all button. I installed a couple of launchers (Lawnchair, Hyperion + OPLauncher2) to use with Quickswitch in an attempt to get different recents, but Quickswitch complained with all 3 of them that this version wasn't supported
Settings crash when trying to change the hardware button layout - I wanted to put Screenshot on long-press since there's no smartbar, but Settings wasn't having any of it
Oh and an oddity: When I plug the device in to charge the screen lights up like it should ... but if I simply walk away it will go dark after the 30 seconds timeout and then light up again, rinse + repeat. I had to actually turn off the screen with the power button to get it to stay off while charging ... I've never seen THAT before, so no idea what's causing it.
@Valera1978 - your link behind "For now i'm using gapps from" in the OP doesn't work, maybe you can fix it?
Wake-on-Home works, Volume wake didn't and then it did but that's the same behaviour we had on some Pie roms already.
That's it for now ... not sure if I'll stay on this one or go back to my Pie rom, but it's definitely usable already - thank you @Valera1978 :good:

Thanks that did the trick with adaway, but the setting doesn't stick.
Not a big problem just have to set it again when I want to update.
I can confirm the settings crashing when you try to change the buttons.
I just used my charger but I didn't notice the light going on and off.

Thanks for pointing that out about Adaway, I hadn't noticed - but yes, it does it here too and for some odd reason adblocking was disabled again after a reboot.
I tried it a few times now - if I turn on the screen and then let the device sit there, the screen will go off after the selected timeout (30 seconds here), but then the screen will come back on after a second or 2. Then it goes off again after 30 seconds and comes right back on. This will keep going indefinitely unless I turn the screen off manually with the power button. Plus I just noticed that it isn't only when charging but all the time ... very odd, like something is waking the screen again right after it goes off. I definitely didn't have that on my previous Pie rom and my phone with crDroid Pie also doesn't do it. I'm stumped
Edit: I think I found the culprit that keep waking up my screen :victory:
On the tablet I use a free SIM card with free monthly data that's sponsored by advertisements. It has it's own lockscreen which doesn't even show up here on Q but did on Pie. If I "freeze" that app with TiBu my screen turns off as it should - but without that app installed I won't get my free data each month.
No idea if this is a Q issue or a crDroid one, but something must be blocking the app lockscreen and causing this odd behaviour. I'll have to see if I still get my free data allowance when the app is installed but not using it's lockscreen ... otherwise I'm going back to Pie. :fingers-crossed:
@Valera1978

I would try:
- install the official TWRP page(Link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=80692007&postcount=672)
- save all my data
- wipe all partitons
- reboot into TWRP
- format (not WIPE!!) /data partition
- reboot into TWRP
- install only rom and boot
If rom boots normal, thenn install gapps...
installing the rom only cleanly starts works but when I want to add the gapps remains stuck on the logo cr droid
Why ?
ps: I tested with gapps indicated on this forum

Known Issues
When the phone is powered off from Lineage and the battery is not removed, the battery charge will fall at an approximate rate of 2% per hour of time that the phone is powered off without the battery having been removed since it was powered off. This does not occcur when powering off from TWRP, having first powered up to TWRP or rebooted to TWRP from Lineage. It also does not occur if the battery is removed from the phone before being put back in, either after powering off from Lineage or being pulled out while Lineage is running. This bug has affected the apq8084 chipset since Oreo (as described by the S5 Plus community, which uses the same chipset). However, the S5 Plus had received official lineage-15.1 and 16.0 support despite being affected by this bug. Furthermore, we have deduced that it must be caused by one or more of the 652 commits that separate the Nougat and Oreo kernel branches. We will never have the time to go through each and every one of these commits to fix this bug outright, but we are always open to suggestions.
If NFC is turned off when the phone is booted up, the NFC toggle will freeze in the "off" position and remain off until the phone is rebooted. If NFC is turned on when the phone is booted up, the NFC toggle will function properly to turn NFC both on and off. However, if NFC is turned off and the phone is rebooted, this bug will reappear.
The 2nd SIM slot does not work in any trlteduos variant.
VoLTE is not supported, and will not be supported for the foreseeable future.

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Good job!
FlokoROM + BiTGApps
based on Android 11 (Lineage OS 18) (crDroid 7). Feels stable after 2 days' use. Does not crash.
SIM works.
fingerprint sensor (swipe) works.
Bank app works.
Have not tried installing Magisk. It is because the Bank app already works and I don't want to mess up.
crDroid 6.12 + opengapps
based on Android 10 (Lineage OS 17). Crash from time to time.
Sometimes the SIM card is not detected, and restart / reboot is needed.
fingerprint sensor does not work.
Bank app does not work. I have tried everything at Magisk.
Magisk can be installed (flash zip file).
Hope you like the above comparison. SM-N9100. TWRP 3.5.2. By the way, the 2nd SIM card slot not tested. GPS tested, but does not work. Google location service (Wifi) works
ROM RUNS VERY SMOOTH, I THINK THAT HAVE A BIT BETTER THAN CRDRID ROM 7.6, WELCOM TO DISCUSS TI IN HERE.
Best ROM I've ever used on this device. Bar none. Even better and more stable than the ROM it's based on (crDroid). So, hats off to you.
The problem I've had with it, however, is that there are a few apps that aren't allowed to function the way they are supposed to. These apps do function properly on crDroid 7.6, therefore it must be because of the adjustments made to that ROM.
The problems I've had are with apps that are supposed to have access to the system or root folders and are not afforded FULL access. I've noticed this with all the file managers I've used. But, my primary file managers are MiXplorer and X-plore.
I've been able to rename files in the system or root areas, but not copy anything to those areas. And, yes, I have given these programs all the permissions they have asked for (and then some). And I have uninstalled them, then reinstalled. Still, they don't function properly. MiXplorer doesn't even save it settings connsistantly (even though it did on crDroid 7.6). You make adjustments in settings and exit the program and immediately restart ... it may keep those settings changes on that restart, but after awhile, once you restart the program, sometime later it, reverts back to factory default settings. Strange. Never seen that before.
This also seems to be why a program like Elixr 2 does not function as intended (even though it does on crDroid 7.6). I can save a backup in the program, however, even though I can copy a backup of my older custom backup widgets, etc., to the programs backup location (something I've done for years - across multiple ROMS - and with crDroid 7.6), once you try to restore from backup it says "No permission to use this feature". Never see that before.
So, I appreciate all your work. I just hope this is a kink you can figure out and get adjusted.
Thanks, a lot!
This ROM looks great, thank you for making it. Been on crDroid 6.12 for quite a while and been very happy with it but need to update.
Does this ROM have signature spoofing built in? I want to run microG. Root with magisk no problem? Will wait for confirmation before I install.
BTW super cool to include OmniSwitch, by far my fave recents/switcher.

hello, In ternms of signature spoofing its the same as lineage 18.1. I personaly at testing had no problems with root espacialy magisk and micro G. Issues with read write in root I cant confirm.
It seems that trlteduos has a problem, how to fix this?
"assert failed: run_program("/tmp/install/bin/variant_blobs.sh")==0"
Do you have any other Android 11 ROMs for trlteduos?

seems to be an common issue with trlte duos roms. Idk why. Any help is welcome.
This is the first Snapdragon ROM on my N910V (Verizon model) that HAS NOT brought up the Maintenance Mode upon reboot. I've rebooted probably 50 times and haven't seen it even once!
This ROM seems to work very well on that device, but I have dropped Wifi a few times. No cellular card in this one, so can't verify that feature.
Since I mainly use these devices for watching TV and videos, I'd like to get Dolby working, or even viper, but no luck so far.
UPDATE: After 1 week, the wifi just stopped working. It just won't start, but everything else seems fine. I was able to install Dolby Atmos eventually and it works now, but without Wifi, it's useless to me. I reverted back to an Android 10 ROM and it's functioning just fine now, proving its not the device.
Tried this ROM. What i noticed is that the CPU speed never dips below 1958Mhz, and it never goes into deep sleep.
Other than that i've had no issues with this ROM. Used it in my spare phone without a SIM so it didn't get that thorough of a workout.

hi, this is intendet to get decent performence, to change that, use performence settings in the battery section.
Yeah, tried that. Doesn't seem to let me lower the base CPU speed below 1958Mhz tho.
I must be missing something.
-- Phone runs a little warm with the CPU set up like this, but it certainly is more fluid than it used to be.

About LineageOS:
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Code:
/*
* I'm not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed (like it did for me...).
* Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in the products you find here before flashing it!
* YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
* Your warranty will be void if you tamper with any part of your device / software.
* Same statement for XDA.
*/
Features
Check out all the great stuff of LineageOS here
My builds are signed by a custom key for better security
F-Droid + priv ext + a bunch of additional repos included
AuroraStore included
My builds come with full OTA update support
... you know that thing which informs you that a new update is there and where you just click to download + install
Known issues
Keep in mind that this is brand new stuff so it may (still) contain unknown issues!
So back up regularly and frequently!
LineageOS Camera does not work -> install "Open Camera". I am NOT working on a fix sorry.
Open Camera does work but only for photo, i.e. video recording fails. I am NOT working on a fix sorry.
Bluetooth might crash/stop working when enable + disable afterwards (reboot to fix that)
If you find a bug not listed let me know and SHARE LOGS! -> READ FAQ#1 for how to provide proper logs.
Requirements
Latest TWRP or SHRP (recommended) build.
Do a full (i.e. Nandroid) backup before doing anything!
Samsung STOCK firmware should be on T285XXU0AQH1.
You can check your current firmware version in Android -> settings -> About / Phone info -> Baseband version
If you like try first without flashing this firmware but if you encounter any issues upgrade to this version first before reporting
Fast and (afaik) good site for downloading: https://sfirmware.com/samsung-sm-t285/
(scroll down and type T285XXU0AQH1 in the search box, choose the one for your country, download, flash as usual, flash TWRP/SHRP again, flash this ROM)
Installation
Full clean install as described here (FAQ #2) is highly recommended. DO NOT REPORT ISSUES when you have skipped that step!
Flash the ROM
Optional (if you want root): Flash Magisk
Optional (if you want to use google stuff): Flash GApps (ARM, 7.1)
Boot it (will take a bit on first boot!!! be patient!)
Enjoy

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q #01: I want to report an issue. What is the proper way to do so?
I'm glad that you are asking: before doing so check the KNOWN ISSUES topic in the OP and ofc the other FAQ's listed here!
If you encountered a kernel panic follow FAQ #6 in this post instead.
If you have issues with "just" the boot process follow FAQ #7 for a very easy way to grab the boot logs.
if you have an audio issue follow FAQ #10 instead.
If your issue is not listed there click here to proceed:
If your issue is not listed there follow the directions here briefly and I may can fix it.
Often selinux can cause issues so try that at very first:
Code:
adb shell
su
(or "adb root" when enabled in developer settings)
setenforce permissive
Try again and if the issue is gone when in permissive mode: provide me a logcat as described here -> on step 3 I need the SELINUX log (option D)
If that does not solve your issue follow the logcat GUIDE to provide a valid log depending on what your issue is.
Ensure you have done a full CLEAN install before doing so (refer to FAQ #2 for what that means).
Warning: NO SUPPORT when:
- magisk is installed (known to cause issues sometimes - regardless of the ROM or version)
- Xposed is installed (known to cause issues sometimes - regardless of the ROM or version)
If you have installed any of these UNINSTALL or better do a FULL CLEAN install (see FAQ #2) before doing anything else. Often enough these above causes several issues like battery draining, problems on booting and much more. Even when they may work properly you should re-produce your issue without them first and follow the above to grab the log.
Magisk is a great piece of software and besides that it is Open Source which SuperSu never was.
I just saying I do not "support" issues with LOS when you have Magisk installed. Why? It is (like Xposed) extendable with modules (made by whoever) and those can cause billions of issues.
Other then that magisk was sometimes the reason for battery drain etc. Magisk modifies the boot "process" and sits very deep in the system (which is needed to make it work ofc) but that has the potential to make a system/ROM unstable or result in strange behaviors.
so in order to support a specific issue I have to be sure the ROM is in a "clean" state, no magisk, no xposed. The LOS root-addon is tested with LOS and made for it so that is not an issue but for the rest there are so many things which can going wrong..
Q #02: I want to install clean, how? What is a clean install? What is the recommended way to flash a new ROM version?
A clean install ensures that there are no leftovers from any previous install. One can say that there are 2 phases of a clean flash:
1) regular
2) full - when you (still) encounter issues
Usually the regular one is fully ok when flashing a new ROM version but if you encounter strange issues nobody else is reporting or if a release post is recommending it you should do a full clean install instead.
A regular clean install can be done like this:
WIPE -> Advanced -> select: System + Cache
Flash the ROM
reflash root addon/magisk if you want root
reflash opengapps if you want to use Google crap
A full clean install needs 2 steps more then the regular:
follow the steps for regular clean
go back in WIPE -> touch the "FORMAT data" button and type "yes" to format the internal storage (you will LOOSE ALL YOUR DATA - obviously)
REBOOT -> Recovery
Flash the ROM
reflash root addon/magisk if you want root
reflash opengapps if you want to use Google crap
It is absolutely recommended to create a backup before and COPYING IT to your PC(!) before doing the above.
Q #03: Are there any plans or a chance of official LOS builds?
no.
Q #04: Google Play shows that my device is not "certified" - how can I fix that?
First of all you must be on the latest build.
If your issue persists click here to proceed:
The second thing is you must not be rooted by the LOS root addon (afaik). Magisk has its own protections to ensure you stay certified but I hadn't the time to test the LOS root-addon.
You also need to know that google play remembers your devices last state so if you are on the latest build and still having that issue do this and it will be certified again:
android settings -> apps -> find play store -> clear data (yes data, not cache) -> reboot -> open play store -> wait 2..5 minutes -> check certified state again
Q #5: A life without Google?! Read here how:
A life without Google ? Is that possible ? ...and why you should consider it ?
So why? That's easy to answer and if those are worth it depends totally on your personal needs:
1) BATTERY. Google services are draining a LOT of your battery, so to get the most out of your battery you should abandon Google gapps
2) PRIVACY. Almost all Google apps phoning home to Google! You don't care about that? You really should. You have nothing to hide? Oh dear believe me you have no idea how much of your private data you do NOT want to share. Keep also in mind that you give your private data not to a company only , there are always humans behind and what they do.. You do not believe me? Read on
BREAKING NEWS:
You can go on with the following steps or simply head-over to /e/ OS which is LOS but completely Google-Free + microG fully working pre-installed:
check it out here!
Q #6: issues with audio (e.g. echo's, silence on one or the other site, ..)? Read here how to provide a specific log for that:
Do the following steps:
1) Ensure you have adb set up on your PC, and have adb debugging and adb root enabled in developer options on your phone
2) Then perform the following (all one command)
On Linux:
adb root ; adb shell "stop audioserver; logcat -c -b all; start audioserver" && sleep 10 && adb logcat -b all |egrep -vi "(dialer|telecom|ril|gsm|touch|brightn|dct|QC-time-services|SST|sensors|AlarmMan|Lights|perfp)"

On windows:

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
3) Then re-produce your audo issue and cancel the logcat from step 2 before hanging up!
4) Share the logcat output from the console screen using paste.omnirom.org

Clean installed your rom. Everything was smooth but i cant use face unlock in this rom. it keeps showing starting up.i think its because of the recording bug.i installed face unlock in jedld cm 13 build it worked in that rom but it didnt worked in yours. Other than that thi rom is perfect.

Anyway, thank you so much for the hard work that you have done with this rom. Extremely impressed. Thank you so much and looking forward to see more of your work.

Are you sure Wifi is connected?
If yes, try a different package of Gapps or try to restore a older backup (/data only) from a different ROM, if you have. Also be aware, that our tablets cannot connect to Routers with WPA3.
This will be fixed in one of the next builds.

Aye. Sometimes the Setup Wizard is causing troubles.
logcat and kernel logs. Also, the button for the camera is so low on the screen its cut off. I tried to make a phone call earlier, but it would just end the call immediately. Im able to get on the internet with 4G though

Hi. I´ve tested the Issues you mentioned.
The Camera App seems to be broken or has a wrong resolution. That´s nothing i can fix but i´ll report it to the devs. As a workaround install Open Camera. This App is working normal.
I tested phonecalls (in and out) with 4G and Edge. Both are working for me.
Maybe there´s an issue with your local provider. If the problem persists, i would suggest to dl ROM and Gapps again (maybe a file is corrupted), delete your ROM in TWRP + format /data and do a clean install of both, ROM and Gapps. Often this will fix those errors.
Your logcat is looking not too bad except a crash of firebase, what definetly could cause the trouble. But we´ll see it, if you´ve done a clean and fresh installation.
Hi, I got the SM-T531 tablet and I'm going to download this ROM and see how it behaves I will do all the possible tests I can do, to contribute. There's no way the 3g works right, just connections right?

Hi @crazydrive22 . I'll take the opportunity and ask you a question of mine. I'm having trouble flashing any SM-T531 compatible roms. I will list the steps I followed.
1 - Flasing twrp with heimdall. At first I tried here: https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxytab4101.html but ta off the link there.
I downloaded it here on the XDA forum: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/recovery-3-5-2_9-unified-matisse-millet-twrp-recovery.4019831/ ;
2 - full wipe and format;
3 - Flashing this rom (with or without gapps) Resulting: Loop in Samsung logo or should I wait too long?
Thanks for working.

Hi.
First boot can take a lot of time. If it's not booting i would suggest to flash Stock 5.0.2 and start again from scratch. It's nescessary to had 5.0.2 installed once to make sure, that the Bootloader is updated. The Bootloader from KitKat (4.x) is not working with LineageOS 9 or newer and it's forks like crDroid or Cypher. The TWRP from Matteo is good, it's the lastest one and working well. But i can't tell you anything about Heimdall. I'm using Odin only to flash Stock or TWRP.

Thanks for the answer, it must be the 4.4.x bootloader, I didn't even ask if I had the 5.x.x one, I'm flashing the 5.0.2 About haimdall. It's wonderful, a point that can be negative is that the process is more manual, you must select each file for its respective partition, the good thing is that with it you can capture the pit file, it is very rare for an error to occur except if there is a problem on the PC or cable. It works on Linux and Windows and Mac OS X. I will return with news.
This is working amazing on my SM-T530NU, far better than whatever Nook bloat that was running before.
Installed and tested in matisselte, very good rom, very fluid. Everything works perfectly,
I will continue using this rom, very happy with how it works.
I hope you continue with the updates. Great job

Thanks for the ROM, gonna try it.
Downloading now.
So, I flashed with the above instructions and the phone is stuck on the crDroid animated boot logo.
Restarted a couple of times, did the same.
Then I again entered the recovery and did factory reset.
Worked like a charm.
I think you should add this to the flashing instructions too.
Setting up now.
Also @LB9457
What is this GMS is for and how to use it, I tried sideloading, it did not work.

Can you also share which Gapps should be installed. I have tried NikGapps, and MindTheGapps but both of them complain to have low storage and were not flashed.

Oh great thanks for the update, I would keep it using without the GApps.
I also noticed that the crDroid settings crash on Buttons and other options as well. Is there a fix ?
I already tried re-flashing.

I've got a little testing done but no logs yet(I'll work on that later).
Active Edge works on every option, first try. Unfortunately, wifi breaks after flashing the magisk module. Also, settings crash in the crdroid menu but only Buttons, User Interface and Notifications.
Factory reset did not solve any problems, except the wifi issue but also removed the module so...
I'll see about getting the logs for you soon though and by the way, this is still awesome work. If it means anything, I would upgrade my 4a to this rom if I could. I've been holding off on flashing A12 because I wasn't blown away by it but this rom has changed my mind.
It's been a while since I've done this but I took two logs.
1 - Without gapps, checking the 'Notifications' and 'Buttons' in crDroid settings.
2 - After flashing provided boot image and installing magisk: attempted to connect to wifi. Tile said connected and SB icon showed connection but Chrome said there was no internet. Also, tried the crDroid settings again in 'User Interface'
Let me know if these logs are wrong or don't show anything and I'll try again. Like I said, it's been a while.
EDIT: It's not letting me attach both files but hopefully the second one gives you enough for the crDroid settings bug
Trying the no gapps one again.
EDIT: won't let me for some reason...

Clean flashed android 12 then flashed latest build. The crDroid settings issue is fixed, both before rooting/gapps and after. Unfortunately, the wifi problem still persists. Wifi works perfectly before and after rooting but once gapps module is flashed, the wifi breaks. Phone says it's connected(status bar and tiles) but internet isn't available for Chrome or Play Store. Would it work to sideload gapps when first flashing ROM?

I used litegapps in magisk, the configuration for the account appeared but when it comes to the network part, it does not continue the configuration, even using wifi/4g. I set it offline and entered the play store, put my account and got the play store logo and don't get out of it. I downloaded a newer version and it opened normally. I was going to try again from scratch if the configuration continues, I removed the lite module and restarted, it bootlooped.
