Hello!
As the title says ,my fast wireless charging has stopped working.
I am fully converted to wireless charging,so I know what I need and how it works.
My S10 just doesn't want to fast charge anymore via wireless. When I plug the cable, fast charging works . plug it back in the compatible wireless charger and just displays "wireless charging".
And do you have Fast Wireless Charging activated in Phone Settings?

I have 2 wireless fast chargers at home, 2 at the office and another one in my car,non of them work on my phone. My dad's S9+ works just fine so...I'm pretty sure there's a problem with my device.
Safe mode makes no difference.
Ok sorry than i have no idea. Maybe device failure.
I think you already tried turning fast Wireless Charging off an on again. Maybe with phone restart between the cycles

If you are using Windows 7 SP1, do you need to install any additional software to be able to just charge the phone or access the internal memory where music files are kept in USB mass storage mode? I really hope I dont have to install PC companion on my machines just to be able to charge or USB mass storage mode a Xperia P or Xperia S. Thanks,
The Xperia S has only mtp.
But you don't need any software to transfer files

Ok fine MTP. What about charging? Can you charge the phone without the PC Companion drivers, just native plain Windows 7? Will the phone charge while turned off when connected to a PC with no Sony software?
Yes

Thats its because the usb have a limitation to give energy, i dont remember how much it is... but is more a hardware limitation than software or another thing :silly:

lol thats not sonys fault, a USB plug can only give a very limited amount of power. your phone needs LOTS more than a USB will give it to charge fast. Charging from USB is alot slower than charging from a Wall Charger.
USB "Standard" is like 500ma or 900ma if you are using USB2/3
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Serial_Bus#Power
your charger will put out like 1500 - 1900ma depending on the charger.
Hope that explains it.
Pvy.
Hi,
my S3 doesn't turn on anymore. When i took it, it was off and i took the battery out and put it back in. Recharged and holded the power button long plus the home button. Nothing happens.
Does someone have an idea?
Thanks

Does it go in download mode? Could be sudden death.
First try another battery, then a USB jig.

Do you try a magnetic charger? Does the PC can read your phone via USB cable?
Generally, the reasons why the phone stopped charging are that:
There is a bug when you update app or boot.
The battery is broken.
The usb charging port or cable is broken.
The charging ic on the motherboard is broken.
The motherboard has something wrong.
So can you tell more details about your phone.
I got a replacement for the phone at "telia". New Z2 yay.!

Hello everyone, my mate 20 pro if off if connected to the charger will turn itself back on ... How can I solve?
Thanks

Nothing to do unfortunately
You could switch your phone to airplane mode if you don't wish to be connected to the network.

You switch off your phone after you have connected it to your charger, then it will stay off

I don't find it normal. This is the first phone I own that decides to turn on when I explicitly turned it off. Annoying.
so it's not just my phone ... I feel less worried
The same happens with iPhones and iPads...

Don't know which iPad you have or if you had it jailbreaked, I have the iPad Pro 2017
For information see also:
If the iPad is completely turned off, and you plug it in to charge, it will turn itself on. This is by design. There is nothing wrong with this.

@themissionimpossible Maybe it's a"pro" feature...Glad I don't have it. ?
My Huawei mate 20 pro boots up when connected to charger even if i power it off after i plug it.
I think i have found the solution for this problem from this post
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72525548&postcount=11
Also in youtube video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zp9G6A6EFlA&feature=youtu.be
in the description says to use this command "fastboot oem-off-mode charge 1"
which is a little bit different from the above post.
I don't feel enough confident to try it my self i hope someone with better experience could tell us if this working.
I wish to have this function in Mediapad M3 8.4
